This foreign born A- list mostly movie actor several months ago received a baby shower gift from an A+ list mostly movie actress ex. It was a picture of herself inscribed with the sentence, "It should have been me."
Exactly, Katie. Theatre is different from tv/film acting. From what I've seen, I prefer English actors over American ones for the most part because a majority of the ones I like have done theatre and it definitely shows in their film roles/tv roles. They can actually act.
JLaw did do TV. Before Winter's Bone she was on The Bill Engval Show, which was like a PG version of Married... With Children on the CW. She was 17-18 at the time.
Theatre doesn't require real acting talent, you just have to be loud and over the top. People who come from theatre tend to overact in movies or TV. They don't realize that the camera captures even the tiniest of changes in facial expression.
I was about to say a less harsh version of this lol. Theatre requires discipline. It’s a good way to learn how to memorise your lines. Screen acting is more intricate and subtle.
Hugh Grant/Julia Roberts?
ReplyDeleteNicholas Hoult and JLaw😣

ReplyDeleteHas JLaw done TV or stage?
ReplyDeleteThat's lowkey hilarious
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, thonker.

ReplyDeleteAs I work bts at a theatre in London. Yes. It takes talent and determination and stamina. I couldn't see her being in anything over a day long...

ReplyDeleteBitch is bonkers.
ReplyDeleteIf it is Nic Hoult, I'd be kicking myself for letting him get away as well--he's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTBH this sounds like JLaw's sense of humor and not something serious.
ReplyDeleteClassy move...
ReplyDeleteNic dodged a king kong sized bullet with JLaw part of me just thinks she's cuckoo at times
ReplyDeleteWhom ever this blind is about... Stay as far away as possible from that woman. Sounds bitter and stalker-ish.
