Today's Blind Items - Queen Of The Night

All of you know this actress. She used to be A list. In fact, she was A list on television multiple times. She is writing a book but told me some of the stories that she wants to put in the book but editors are squeamish to see in print. Good thing I know none of you get squeamish.

Our actress says that for almost a decade she had to sleep with this producer almost every single day to keep her job. He is a permanent A list producer and when she got married he threatened to fire her. He didn't, but he wasn't willing to hire her again for any other project until she divorced. The month of her divorce, he gave her a job and she started having sex with him again. Those were her two biggest hits.

In between those hits was a big miss, but again, she said she was expected to have sex with the producers, yes plural and was threatened every day with being fired if she didn't. She needed the work so she agreed. She also said it was during this time period that has led to her long time addiction problems. She was going through a lot personally and then what was going on at work so she started taking drugs to just numb everything.

She says that while she was shooting her biggest hit, that even though she was married for most of the time on the show, that the producer who had always been jealous in the past was less jealous this time around because he was sleeping with an actress from a different show and wanted to spend as much time with her as possible.

When our actress went to another hit after this hit, she thought for once she wouldn't have to sleep with someone on set. She was wrong. The lead actor made it clear he would fire her unless she hooked up with him. This led to a situation I have written about before but she refused to comment about.

  1. I’m sick of hearing “they needed the job”. No they didn’t. They could’ve switched careers. Maintained some self respect instead of empowering these monsters. These women are s huge part of the problem

    1. While I makes me mad to read these stories because of how badly these men behave, I totally agree with you on the part that the women play. They make a choice too. What's so bad about being a regular person working a regular job to support yourself?

    2. Long time lurker, 1st time poster(I'm a sensitive petunia be gentle). I agree. I've worked 3 jobs when I needed to to live until I got something better. Why is it easier to do that? Money isn't everything. I guess it's the shit sandwich syndrome.

    3. Although in this case sounds like the opposite. Hope the bread was worth it.

    4. I think it’s strange that no one seems to understand that the ONLY way to get the job is to give be in to what the producers want. If she didn’t do it, ten more women would step in her place. There’d be no show. Don’t you get it? The men have the power. It’s like a job requirement.

This book NEEDS to happen. Seriously.

  4. Ditto on sick of "needed the job".

There is a word for someone who has sex for money.

  5. She don't need to be writing any book throwing stones. Between her and Charlie including some of the stuff they did TOGETHER, it would take a few books to cover it all.

  6. Ewww Aaron Spelling?!
    Explains the drugs!

  8. But if it's the deceased Spelling, Enty isn't referring to him in the past tense. Enty's not sloppy like that so...

  9. @Kswheels, I've seen this referenced before, but have never heard the accusations. What did they do??

  10. +1 @PoliticallyIncorrect. I'm sick of these folks in Hollyweird pretending they were so desperate for work that they NEEDED to sleep with the producer or the director of whatever film/tv show they wanted to be apart of, then play victim after they collect their checks and gain some clout.

  11. If this is Heather Locklear, she didn't need the job. She was a big name, and was married to wealthy rock stars.

  12. Plus spelling was of an age where his next orgasm might be his last for a long time. Who else has she worked with?

Did Chuck Lorre do more than one show of hers?

  13. Speaking of people who have had sex for profit, yesterday on Wikipedia someone changed Megan Markle's title from Duchess blah blah blah to Slut. It's been changed back but there is record of the change in the edits.

Yep, Heather Locklear. Got Melrose Place the same year she divorced Tommy Lee. Was previously on Dynasty. In between was a short lived series called Going Places.

The final sentence of the blind pretty much nailed it for me.

  18. @tinydancer Thank you for opening the door for me to say it without guilt: She does not have the remaining brain cells to coherently communicate with a ghostwriter, let alone write a book that would make it past the lawyers to be published. Not her. Plus...Those rumors...Again...Not her. But if it is, the blow back from the book on her will be a show worth watching.

    ReplyDelete
  19. So who was spelling sleeping with from one of his different shows in the 90s? Someone off of Bev Hill 90210? 7th Heaven?

After Melrose, Locklear went to Spin City, I can not for the life of me think that Michael J Fox would do this. Are any of the other male leads sleazy off that show? I never watched it: other actors on that show are Alan Ruck, Barry Bostwick, Richard Kind dont know how big of roles they had

  25. No problem. The Dad who plit with the kid is Ritchie Sambora...I dunno who the other women in Charlie's life are but someone else here will.

Should we assume that Aaron Spelling required the stars on all of his shows to sleep with him on the regular? That's quite a list we could make!

    @kswheels. Denise Richards?

    ReplyDelete
  28. No because she would've written it. It's gonna be the next two AFTER her. Denise wrote about Cheese Pizza (Code I don't want to type those words) i think she would've written about him liking to roleplay that way.

  29. How much of a victim is Heather really? If that other blind item about her and Charlie Sheen having sex with her daughter is true, that's absolutely horrific and something she willingly participated in and allowed to happen. Is Heather borderline - aka the ultimate victim who always sets up scenarios to be the ultimate victim? Don't get me wrong, I do think there are actual predatory producers out there, but Heather has some massive screws loose and her poor kid has been the real victim of her choices. I'm honestly not sure I would buy whatever version of events Heather is trying to sell since I think it's going to be a personal #PoorMe movement.

  32. Ugh, Cyblic Shepherd is another one I wouldn't trust too much from, either. She claims she was the first person to give Elvis a blow job lololol. They didn't get together until 1972, and Elvis was terrified of vaginal intercourse in case he got a girl pregnant. He'd had loads of blow jobs at that point in time. Unless this is what Elvis told her, and Cybill was shockingly naive enough to believe it.

  33. @kswheels - I'm guessing the new woman he found to do it with was his now ex wife Brooke Mueller one of their twin sons, Max or Bob. Denise Richards even tried taking them in when Brooke was in rehab for the umpteenth time, but had to give them up due to their violent outbursts towards her daughters with Charlie and their dogs. So sad.

  34. When children hurt animals it's a major red flag and usually means abuse of some kind.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yaah that's right. I forgot that Jamie did aay it was her. Why in the hell didn't she tie a bow on it in the divorce papers by saying he liked fantasizing about similar things as the porn?

Anyway like I said Heather don't need to write any damn book. It could risk this shit coming out.

@Sara...oops missed the different part. Yeah, Thiessen seems like a good guess.

  37. Heather Locklear...Dynasty / Going Places / Melrose Place / Spin City.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I totally get the "needed the job" excuse. Anyone with half a brain can figure that one out. When you know an industry and are established in an industry it's difficult to leave and why should SHE leave? That's giving up, too.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Heather Locklear was a way bigger star than Charlie Sheen during the Spin City era. I don't know how he could get her fired.

    ReplyDelete
  40. work a regular job to support yourself? that's what most of them are doing at the same time they're hoping for hollywood stardom. they work at all kinds of regular jobs.

they all think they could be the next Jlaw or someone like that---not from hollywood, but from any town, USA. they get in front of a big producer and they think it's really close. their dream is right there for the taking.

so THAT's what THEY are guilty of. the men, on the other hand, are guilty of extorting women for sex. seems a tad bit worse to me.....

    ReplyDelete
  41. Disagree that she was a bigger star. TV was Charlie's second career. He was in some pretty big movies in the 80s and early 90s. Plus he had a famous name. Plus he was the star of the show. It doesn't matter where you are on the totem pole overall it matters where you are on the totem pole of the project, and Spin City which had already lost one star needed him more than her.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Heather Locklear looks like a rabbit, rabbits' survival strategy is to eat grass and f*ck their brains out. Unless they wear a jacket, then that muthaf*cka is out to rob your garden.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm on board with this being Heather Locklear- and am feeling a mixture of empathy and horror at what she's suffered and what she has allegedly perpetrated with Sheen.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I like the Shannon Daugherty guess the best. Heather was really successful and married to rich guys and didn't need the money. Shannon would have needed the job more.

    ReplyDelete
  45. For the record, there were several producers besides Aaron Spelling that worked on both Melrose Place & Dynasty. So it could be one of the others.

Spelling also produced TJ Hooker, which overlapped time-wise with Dynasty.

    ReplyDelete
  46. If this is Locklear and she’s writing a book, girl better put EVERYTHING in there. I would 100 percent read that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm not buying Heather Locklear for the other, really crazy vice. Her daughter seems pretty well adjusted (going to college and seems close to Heather). The other part about ML's new woman, and how she offers up HER offspring, the boy. It sounds like her son from a previous marriage/relationship, and says he's been messed up ever since, so that rules out Charlie and Brooke's two young sons.
Also, Tiffani A-T was not divorced during 90210 I don't think.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Complete long shot, but I’ll throw out Markie Post because the title of the blind says queen of the night and her biggest hit was Night Court which ran for almost a decade. That’s all I’ve got, though. Can’t find much else about her.

    ReplyDelete
  49. They key words are on the title QUEEN OF THE NIGHT ...

An actress on top tv shows AT NIGHT ...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Why would they Ben “squeamish” about it? It’s not like publishing it is going to make her children lose their innocence... IFI any of her children ARE minors, then maybe she should wait until they’re of age.

And, yes, women are part of the problem. It’s easy to vilify people who say “women are part of the #MeToo problem” until you watch actresses get roles they never fucking auditioned for because you wouldn’t let your acting “teacher” touch you.

    ReplyDelete
  51. None of you seem to realize that WHOMEVER was cast in these roles would be expected to sleep with these men. So. If you want a successful acting career that's the deal.

You may say she didn't have to do it but at the end of the day, SOMEONE was going to do so it would have been either Heather Locklear or any other wide number of actresses and then you'd be insulting them instead.

    Why is this not obvious?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Also - as for Locklear's daughter doing well, the blind says the father removed her from her mother's care at what we must assume was still a young-ish age. If he got her proper therapy and otherwise raised her well then it serves to reason she should be fairly well adjusted, all things considered.

    ReplyDelete
  53. As to my comment about how this happens to any/everyone who stars on these shows - THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE KIDDIE DIDDLING.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Doubt Shannon Doherty was sleeping with a producer of 90210, since she was tossed in her arse. Jennie Garth, however, was treated like the star of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'm so confused. I really thought that Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear were friends/family friends...I don't think she would count him as a "friend" if he was marauding her all of this time. Aaron Spelling looked impotent to me. There. I said it. He looked impotent.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I so don't want this to be Heather. I know Richie left Bon Jovi to take care of some things at home. I assumed Ava because Heather was losing it and something happened to make him quit 13 concerts into a world for. I assumed HL was delving into drugs again.
Shannon doesn't have kids and I don't think this was Aaron Spelling.
Could one of the Jackson siblings be a part of this or Bill Cosby?

  57. I bet Shatner and TJ Hooker is in this mix somewhere.

  58. Some incredibly flimsy arguments are appearing in this thread.

We don't need sexual harassment standards because people can just seek other employment.

    So similarly:

    - We don't need OSHA and safety rules for the work place because people can just select some other employer where it is safer.
    - We don't need minimum wage and other labor laws because people can just seek other employment with better compensation.
    - We don't need police forces because people can just migrate to a different town where it is safer.
    - We don't need human rights laws because people can just migrate to a nation with better standards.
    - Et cetera.

Flimsy and shallow thinking blames the sexual harassment victim for her plight and failing to "simply exit" the situation.

    ReplyDelete
  59. You are way to cavalier with your accusations. 1 person just randomly guess somebody then the whole thread goes with it. Then your random guess from the last thread is produced as evidence on a new thread about a different situation. This isn't proof this is nothing but speculation. I guess it was the kardashians and none of this ever happened.

  60. I wonder when the privileged gods who sit and judge from their position of sanctimony read about the hotel maid who may or may not have all the right papers is also made to service her bosses, mostly male and mostly white (Privileged) are judged as harshly as the actress made to to the same thing in the same structure of power? Hmmm. Comments like ..."I'm sick of these folks in Hollyweird pretending they were so desperate for work that they NEEDED to sleep with the producer or the director of whatever film/tv show they wanted to be apart of, then play victim after they collect their checks and gain some clout." I wonder if it is the same thing, the maid is the whore who doesn't have to say yes. in fact, it is the WOMEN who are the problem. Ahhhhhhhh.. I see ....

    ReplyDelete
  61. If she used her CHILD and allowed nightmarish shit to happen to that child so she could remain relevant than she needs to be vilified. She chose to remain an actress that was her choice. If she allowed them to USE her child, she took away her child's choices and she is the villian.

  62. Heather Locklear:

Sammy Jo Carrington on Dynasty from 1981 to 1989 (which began her longtime collaboration with producer Aaron Spelling.)

Officer Stacy Sheridan on T. J. Hooker (1982–86)

    Tommy Lee (m. 1986–1993)
Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place (1993–99)

Caitlin Moore on Spin City (1999–2002)

    Harley Random on LAX (2004-2005)

    Melrose Place (2009-2010)

She had a recurring role on the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2012-2013) and a main role on the TNT drama-comedy television series Franklin & Bash in 2013.
