Blind Items Revealed #8

May 21, 2018

Billboard Music Awards

This foreign born A- list reality star from a very hot (just saw this while posting the reveal and it should have been hit, but it actually works as hot for this particular show too) reality show confided to a friend last night that she is losing her hair and has no idea what to do about it. The reality star says it has started falling out in clumps as of late.

  5. I heard about that. Glad I never fell for that informercial - amazing they sold it on the Shopping Channel at one time. Easy come easy go.

    1. I’ve used it for years and have never had a problem with it. Won’t stop either. He makes plenty annually off selling it on QVC alone.

    Menopause.

Not being cruel. It's a fact in the life of a female.

It depends on the person, but one can experience hair loss when entering menopause. Once the hormones go haywire, everything else that was hanging on by a thread falls apart. Any illness or ailment or unbalance in the body that was, let's say, dormant, comes out into the open during Menopause.

Not all women experience this. Some women feel no changes at all (bless their hearts /grin/), but most women will experience some fucked up shit happening w/in their bodies during menopause.

Of course, it also depends on their diet and/or intake of prescription meds.

    1. @Glue..she’s only 47..yes, some go through menopause earlier than others..but I’m not so sure you’re cut and dried medical diagnosis is totally factual. I personally don’t know her. Perhaps you do. If so, I concede.

    2. Edit: your cut and dried.
Excuse my misspelling with the “you’re”.

  8. @Randaleese - It was just my opinion based from my own experience. Of course, their hair loss could be because of many other things, but I started "peri-menopause" at 47. O_o

  9. It could be several things. In extreme stress, my brother had died and I internalized mourning so I had clumps of hair that fell out. She could have thyroid issues. She could be menopausal. It could be envrionmental, something she's using has long term affects or simply alopecia.

  10. I'd tell her to get her thyroid checked.

  11. Better look at Ferritin & Vitamin D levels.

  12. I would tell her the same thing. I had parathyroid issues on top of menopause and suffered from hair loss.

  13. She was probably exaggerating like most people do who worry about their looks. They say they have a huge pimple and it’s this teeny little speck on their face that no one would ever notice. She’s probably losing hair, but not to the degree that anyone would be able to see.

  14. Got some Wen shampoo at a yard sale three years ago, been hooked ever since.

Not for anyone with an oily scalp.

  15. WEN is no longer promoted on commercials or infomercials which tells me there may be something to the lawsuits.

You should wash your hair once a week in any case. Use a mild, sulfate-free formula if you're worried.

  16. Black seed (nigella sativa) and basil oils, girl! And y'all should really stop using those engine stripper commercial shampoos. No poo, trust me, I have tons of hair.

  17. I use Wen and love it.

Women can start menopause in their 30s - I was done with it by 42.

Prescription meds have a Yuge affect on hair, as does diet and genetics.

  18. Probably because she has an eating disoder.

  19. Someone must be yanking it too hard. Padma-what will happen to your gold digging days if you’re bald?

  20. Vitamin D deficiency can do that.
