Blind Items Revealed #4
This former A+ list rapper said he doesn't care about the past of people, only their future. I guess this is why he invited a convicted child molester to be on his new record.

This is the guy who congratulated Tyga for "getting in the early" with Kylie.......
Great, Ye. Have the guy over to babysit.
Doesn't matter. No one is actually buying/listening to him anymore...
Jay Z's Tidal Under Investigation for Inflating Numbers for Beyonce and Kanye Albums
The article is actually quite hilarious! They break it down and it's comical when the numbers BLATANTLY don't add up and they thought they could get away w/ it.
Forbes also did an article, but the Music Business Insider goes into detail.
@Glue, it was actually a Norwegian newspaper that broke the story. But you're right, it was very funny.
I liked the interview with the guy who had supposedly listened to "Lemonade" 251 times within 24 hours, including the middle of the night. They contacted him and he was like - what?
Tidal news being broken in Norway makes perfect sense; their parent company, Aspiro, is Scandinavian; Tidal itself is mostly just a rebrand of their earlier service WiMP with different shareholders and that really creepy very-not-Illuminati-looking debut ad of celebrities around a table in a dark room with no windows.
They were always shady; they continually touted their payout rates to artists as way outstripping Spotify but no matter how hard I looked when Tidal "debuted" I couldn't find any quantifiable data on it at all. Never pay for streaming; either buy a hard copy or make your peace some other way.
I'm so glad I got an old record player (which sounds awesome) and am listening to my dad's old blues albums. Plus his Smothers Brothers, Brother Dave Gardner and Lenny Bruce.
That reminds me, I've been wanting to buy "Best of The Kingston Trio". Mom played it for us a lot back in the 70's.
Yuck.
Thanks for the link to the article @Glue. It is hilarious.
Do Tell, Dad was also a fan of Dave Brubeck and I have several Kingston Trio albums. Dad dj'd in the 60's. I have a ton of 45's that are German remakes of American hits. So surreal.
Did Kanye see 60 Minutes yesterday he needs to try the new shock therapy and get those brain waves sorted out but the down side is loss of memory oh maybe Kanye has already tried it or maybe the new experimental magnetic seizure therapy.
I wonder if all the music companies fudges the numbers
I wonder if everyone fudges the number these days
A merry little surge of electricity piped by automatic alarm from the mood organ beside his
bed awakened Rick Deckard. Surprised — it always surprised him to find himself awake
without prior notice — he rose from the bed, stood up in his multicolored pajamas, and
stretched. Now, in her bed, his wife Iran opened her gray, unmerry eyes, blinked, then
groaned and shut her eyes again.
"You set your Penfield too weak he said to her. "I'll reset it and you'll be awake and — "
"Keep your hand off my settings." Her voice held bitter sharpness. "I don't want to be
awake."
He seated himself beside her, bent over her, and explained softly. "If you set the surge up
high enough, you'll be glad you're awake; that's the whole point. At setting C it overcomes the
threshold barring consciousness, as it does for me." Friendlily, because he felt well-
disposed toward the world his setting had been at D — he patted her bare, pate shoulder.
"Get your crude cop's hand away," Iran said.
"I'm not a cop — " He felt irritable, now, although he hadn't dialed for it.
"You're worse," his wife said, her eyes still shut. "You're a murderer hired by the cops.
The dystopian future is here! Elelctroshocks for everybody!!!
