Someone shared Kanye shat his jeans & photos were still on the internet. I looked at them & returned to comment. I said I have heavy periods & Kanye had blood stains, not shat stains. I said PR would rather have a bowel control story over a Ricardo Tisci story.
@rebekah - evidently he had a stain on the jeans he wore to the met gala.

Second mistake: having what looked like a poop stain on his tushy, but in reality, it looks more like a blood stain that dried.
There are rumors he had been w/ his "man friend" prior to the gala and they got a little too freaky, hence the major stain on the tushy.
If he was bleeding that much out of his ass & stayed for the whole evening, he’d have been hospitalized for a perforated bowel.

DeleteI didn't see the interview, because TMZ, but the main headline people seem to be feigning outrage about is the "slavery was a choice" part. Over 100,000 slaves escaped using the underground railroad alone, so maybe not the being captured by other black tribes and sold to jewish slave ship owners, then shipped and sold in the southern US, but that remaining a slave was definitely a choice, and ultimately I think that's was the point of his argument.
ReplyDeleteActually - at the risk of "white'splaining," I think Kanye was saying people who use historical slavery as a reason why it sucks to be black *now* is a choice.
ReplyDeleteThat it is a CHOICE to blame their current circumstances on slavery having been something that disenfranchised black people historically, but to keep using it as the scapegoat for why all a person's problems exist.
THAT is what I believe he meant, sadly it went over very, very poorly.
That is what he meant. Everyone knows what he meant. It’s being spun around on him. Now I’m not a Kanye fan but I believe he is absolutely correct.

Delete@hunter - I agree with what you're saying as well, more so than my interpretation. I'll assume the TMZ-DisInfo-Agent-Toms weren't very interested in having a calm reasoned nuanced discussion about what he meant after it was said.
