Back in the day this talk show host and this former A+ list singer used to hook up. Probably explains the talk show host's soft stance towards the singer.
I find this reallllly hard to believe since back in the day Wendell was a heavy set coke head which was far from Kelly's type. Unless he was sleeping with her to get his records played on her hit radio show at the time.
I love how it's generally accepted that he bangs teens in cages, but the idea that he might have gotten with a heavyset woman near his own age is inconceivable. He bangs children, I wouldn't put farm animals past him, let alone some woman he might have enjoyed talking to.
R. Kelly probably records himself singing the song. He could always say he wants the song to sound a certain way. You can't trust people to take dictation.
People claimed Michael Jackson didn't create the music that accompanied his songs. He had to demonstrate his creative process in open court. He would him the melody & identify what instrument he wanted to play it, tap out the rhythm, etc.
@Brayson87, yeah, it's funny how that works. Sexual preference is assumed to be so fluid in some circumstances but strict in others. Personally, I'd assume he would screw anything that moved, doubly so if drugs were involved.
@Melissa81, I don't have a clue whether Kelly can read, but I'm pretty sure there have been illiterate composers and songwriters. You don't have to be able to read or write to know musical notation. There's also the possibility of him picking out tunes on an instrument while someone else writes them down, and dictating lyrics. Maffs wouldn't have anything to do with it at all.

I find it very odd of her soft stance about him because she used to comment very negatively on R.Kelly when she was on the radio. I don't know why Wendy Williams changed up regarding R.Kelly and I find that very disappointing.
I almost threw up when she said that she considered doing an interview with him.
Her appearance on the show was the most censored in the history of US talk shows. He could get annoyed with others going too far for shock value, but never madonna.
I can believe that or he has something on Wendy. I don't believe they hooked up, but maybe something along the lines of blackmail. As I said before, she was very much against R. Kelly in the past so something isn't adding up.
Someone is assuming they know what an individuals chromosomes are since there are many combinations one can have be they trans or not. And I suppose better a dude than a dumbass!
Anyway, R. Kelly's type aside, you people do realize he has adult kid/kids with his very age appropriate ex wife and I know that he sleeps with age appropriate women in addition to the jail bait. Always has.
You can always rely on Wendy Williams to drop the ball, right when you think she's going to take a firm stance on someone, or a serious social issue.
She'll drag OJ Simpson the double murderer, then turn to his picture and say "He looks goood though, DOESN'T HEEE!" ... then the stupid audience clap like seals.
