This A+ list mostly movie actor who is also a director promised to do something with a bunch of his residuals. So far though he hasn't and no one has called him out on it.
The genuinely contrite kevin smith donated all future miramax residuals to a women's charity. Former pal ben promised likewise but appears to have second thoughts, oh dear.
We'll see. You very well could be right about that. To be honest, their overall work has never impressed me on the whole. Individual pieces, sure, but I don't think any of the three has the talent for consistent excellent work.
Now, wanna argue? I think Brad Pitt has been much smarter and consistent in his career, both producing and acting.
@plot no I don’t want to argue. I will say only Clooney movie I ever cared for was the first Oceans movie. Only Pitt movie I ever liked was A River Runs Through and that was a LONG time ago. Only Affleck film was Argo and my interest was the story. Only Damon movie was The Departed and that’s because even tho he is a staple on these pages, I LOVE Leo movies, well acted and he picks good films. DeNiro hasn’t been good since he sold out to the Meet the Parents crap. And you can just call me Ms Ebert lol. Jmo of course.
Clooney?

Ah, the impaired Benjamin Geza Affleck strikes again on CDAN.
ReplyDeleteAffleck was a movie star, isn't any more. All of them--Affleck, Clooney, Damon, that whole crew--they're finished.

ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't make statements like that because only one hit, between the three of them, and you are WRONG.
Simple stuff really.
Oh and lookee at t IMDB! Those aren't the pages of "finished!" actors.

ReplyDeleteKevin should call him out on Twitter or something.
Deleteso what, who cares.
ReplyDeleteWomen who need money to fight sexual harrssment in the workplace do.
DeleteBatfleck needs to pay off whoever's blackmailing him over his exploits in the horror house. Grim.
DeleteAgree with ddonna. They’re finished. Add brad Pitt and DeNiro to the list too.
ReplyDeleteSo against the evidence of their IMDB pages, you and Ddonna think they are all failing.
ReplyDeleteWe should all fail so spectacularly.
@plot. Their best work is in the past. They’re best days are over.

No way DeNiro is going down, he is permanent A list. He's not doing amazing work these days; maybe he should just retire.

ReplyDeleteGive poor old Baffleck a break. His Mir royalties are barely covering the rent on the mistress's apartment.
ReplyDeleteYou really think his $50 a year from Shakespeare in Love DVD purchases is going to make a difference? Get a fucking life.
