Blind Item #2 - The Opportunist
The entertainment biz is no stranger to bottom feeders, especially after someone famous dies. It seemed to reach a new level years ago after Marilyn Monroe died and has gone downhill from there. The feeding frenzy after Elvis died also comes to mind, but there are others too. Tell-all books, interviews, even a photograph someone snuck of the King himself inside his open coffin which was pretty shocking back in the day. The same thing happened when Michael Jackson and Prince died too. Social media has made it even easier for the vultures to circle around dead famous people, which brings us to today's blind.
The subject of our story is a relentless opportunist who is also exploiting a tragic situation for personal gain. We'll call her Ms. B. Ms. B claims she has special talents that make her involvement in a particular scenario very important. Ms. B is currently being paid thousands of dollars by people she's duped into adopting her narrative. What isn't widely known is that Ms. B. has a shady financial history that goes back years and years- but since she's so very slick, those unaware of this history are still buying what she has to sell. What her followers don't realize though, is that she's playing all sides. She's also being well paid by a group of people to divulge information, and she's singing like a birdie. This information is extremely useful for these people, because they are preparing to take legal action against several individuals. When it happens, it's going to be ugly, but Ms. B doesn't care. She will fade into the sunset with a very large paycheck, and will move on to the next scam.
