Blind Item #15
Police in this foreign country were so blinded by one arrest they missed the biggest fish of the night when they didn't ask about this 16 year old who was in a club with this flash in the pan former A- list singer. It is his thing. He finds the youngest groupies in every city or country he visits.
Thicke?
ReplyDeleteIs the arrest a blind item too?
ReplyDeleteBREAKING NEWS
ReplyDeleteThe Motion Picture Academy has expelled Bill Cosby & Roman Polanski.
G Easy
ReplyDelete@T.W., The Academy once again proves it's years behind the rest of the culture.
ReplyDelete@Brayson87
ReplyDeleteTrue. Hollyweird thinks it shapes culture.

G Easy. He was arrested in Sweden, he had cocaine with him
ReplyDeleteHalsey was there too...
ReplyDeleteMy guess is Sean Kingston, he was among the group when G-Easy was arrested.
ReplyDelete@Moses got it.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the drinking age/age of consent in Sweden?
ReplyDelete15 is the age of consent.
ReplyDeletedrinking age is 18
ReplyDelete@Guesser drinking is 18 and age of consent is 15
ReplyDeleteJFC 15, really Sweden?
ReplyDeletehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Europe#Sweden
@T.W., We can't complain,it only took forty years.
ReplyDelete@Guesser
DeleteI agree with your point.
USA Today reported Roman gave a 13 year old girl champagne & a sedative. The next sentence stated this is statutory rape.
See, Polanski gets a free pass because he survived a Nazi concentration camp & his wife was murdered by cult members.
"Polanski’s attorney, Harland Braun, told Variety that the director was not afforded an opportunity to defend himself to the Academy, an apparent violation of the Academy’s new code of conduct."
ReplyDeleteSure thing Roman, just come back to states and plead your case to the Academy, you child raping POS.
So off topic. But I go to a local very large rock festival, that happens to be in my hometown every year at the end of April, its like a mile from my home, and always my bday weekend. Last year, I saw Chris and Soundgarden, as well as The Pretty Reckless, was shocked a few days later to hear he passed away.
ReplyDeleteSo this year, we had some HUGE names, and it was quite eventful. On Friday night, Ozzy was the closer. That was mine and my husbands bucket list. Several things, We ended up buying parking lot tshirts, because evidently Sharon has such a tight hand on items that are allowed to have Ozzy's name on it, she only authorized 2 offical Tshirt designs to include his name on the lineup. They sold out quick, so we bought the cheap parking lot versions with his name on them anyway.
Before the set, Kelly and Jack hired a plane to fly over, if you looked up, with a banner saying, Good luck on your tour Dad. Love J and K. I thought that was awesome.
Sharon was here, and Ozzy did a great set. Obviously you could see he was lip syncing often, but man he was happy, he had a smile on his face that was great to see for us long time fans.
The next night we had Avenged Sevenfold, and I just want to say one thing about them, their singer, M. Shadows, is an amazing man who really looks after his fans. We also had Corey Taylor - Minus SlipKnot +Stone Sour, before the sets, he was in the parking lot playing corn hole with tailgaters. Pretty amazing.
On Sunday we closed out the festival with Billy Idol, and then my favorite, the Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl did amazing, but he was starstruck when he brought Billy Idol on the stage to sing with him. Then, he is looking off to the side of the stage and he starts singing "Your the one that I want, and John Travolta came out on stage. No, he did not sing, he was evidently in town because of the movie with our local boy Fred, and of course, he does live just a bit south of us.
I just wanted to share, because all i could think about when ppl were going NUTS over Travolta, was the CDAN blinds.. dangit, almost ruined the moment. ;)
(one thing that was pretty fun, Dave sang Van Halen's Jump to the music of Imagine.. it actually worked.. lol)
"Dave sang Van Halen's Jump to the music of Imagine"
DeleteI had to check it out--You're right, it does work! Pretty Cool! Thanks for sharing that. :)

The Osbornes are doing a podcast as a kind of where-are-they-now series, and some of the episodes are hilarious - I forgot how funny their MTV show was.
Delete@truthseeker This is a great recap. I love stories like these. Please keep them coming (and you’re a good writer - thank you for that!).
DeleteIt's a start. What are the present standings of "He's-Got-a-Woody-for-Toddler-Girls" Allen, Brett RatFace Ratner, Bryan "Mr.-Roofies-4-Teen-Boys" Singer, and Kevin Spacey? Guess we have to wait for convictions in a court of law (+ 40 years for some) and not just the court of public opinion. There are even articles stating the Academy regrets banning Pervy Harvey so hastily!
ReplyDeleteAre they gonna take away Polanski's Oscar too? If they can remove Cosby's name & bust from a hall of fame museum even though he did the work, they can take away Polanski's Oscar.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteTruthseeker, I was at Welcome to Rockville, too. I thought it was high-larious that ALL the other performers sold their merch out of the combined merch tents - like a tshirt mall - and Ozzy had a little table and tent off to the side where all his merch was sold. I rarely saw anyone buy anything, and there was NEVER a line at that tent anytime I walked by. I didn't go Friday night because I got a late start and drove over from the other side of the state, and it may have been packed then, but Saturday and Sunday it was wide open and like a ghost town.

I'd be happy to be patiently waiting outside SAGAFTRA to convene a meeting between him, Harland "Jabba Junior" Braun, and the business end of a variety of melee tools.
Hollywood has been shaping the culture; they're a big reason the culture is so fucked up. They're doing some minimal damage control now (and they haven't liked Cosby for decades anyway, so half of that expulsion was painless), but they have no intention of giving up that role long-term.
ReplyDeleteThey definitely need to do the same with Woody Allen. Why does that arsehole always get a pass?!
ReplyDelete@Sal, because he made one good movie back in the 70's and people just can't f*cking get over it.

as taking place in a foreign country, what is the age of consent in said country? not really blind worthy if she was 16. as most have a lower age then within the US
ReplyDeleteI've been to Sweden. Tried to buy some aspirin from a pharmacy. Got drilled, the third degree, you name it, walked out empty handed.
ReplyDeleteHad my Swedish guest visit here in the USA, took her to the local pharmacy, and purchased cold pills because they are illegal in Sweden. Yeah, the Swedes will crack down on anything stronger than an aspirin.
Just saw on perez that demi lovato is at war with her BFF...does that mean she's the one who had sex with her own father??
ReplyDeleteSee, Polanski gets a free pass because he survived a Nazi concentration camp & his wife was murdered by cult members.
ReplyDeleteDamn straight.
No
Delete@Truthseeker...That's AWESOME! Corey Taylor is one of my all time favorite artists and I'd die to just to play cornhole with him!
ReplyDelete"Hollywood has been shaping the culture; they're a big reason the culture is so fucked up."
ReplyDeleteOr are they producing what people want.
It seems that the lack of decent education is hitting the USA from all sides. But JESUS! am I right? Pledge of Allegiance! The Poor are spiritually inferior! Poison the Land! Someone is getting RIIIIICH! Yippee! All bow to Saint Ayn Rand and the Invisible Hand. Moment of silence.
Is it Hollywood who makes the laws of the land and passes on vengeance in the form of misery?
Oh I bet you have interesting theories there.
