J-Lo does sing, albeit about as well as Britney and Janet, but she sings. The person who did her vocals died if I'm not mistaken, although I don't know how you needed someone else to fake that voice. It's not like the person who was faking was some powerhouse singer. I'm still confused how JLo is MV when no one ever thought she had a great voice.
If you said Chaka or Aretha or Whitney or Adele didn't sing their songs I'd be shocked. JLo not so much.
Many, many years ago, Enty had a series of blinds - focus was a singer named MV, who was famous, but the voice you heard on her albums was not hers, but someone else.
The really bad/sad part is that the singer who was faking it was extremely RUDE to the singer whose voice she was using and tried (if I remember correctly) to cheat her out of money that was owed. It finally came out after years of teasing us w/ MV blinds, that MV was indeed Jennifer Lopez.

I could never accept JLo as MV either Bubbles. Her speaking voice is the same as her "singing" voice but it is what it is.
