This A- list mostly television actor who stars on a long running hit network comedy was noticeably missing from some recent press for the show. He doesn't care and is just gliding through the last season or so of the show and knows no one is going to fire him. He just doesn't care.
Ed O'Neill

Ed O'Neill
F*ck that show, he'll always be Al Bundy to me.
ReplyDeleteMe too, and Married with Children was sooooo funny
DeleteCan't blame him. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it has.
ReplyDeleteWhy should he care? No one else does.
ReplyDeleteI loved modern family but havent watched it in a couple years.
ReplyDeleteNot caring about press always gets a thumbs up from me.
ReplyDeleteDon't let this distract you from the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
ReplyDelete😂🙏
DeleteGood for him. Long live Al Bundy!
ReplyDelete+1 Alli :)
ReplyDeleteIf i had the money from two long running sitcoms like him, i'd behave the same way. There is a great interview with him on the excellent kevin pollack talk show where he comes out as a martial arts expert!
ReplyDeletePeople thought this was Johnny Galecki.
ReplyDeleteExactly. I only like the old shows on re-runs too.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably do the same thing. Modern Family has sucked for a long time now.
ReplyDeleteEd is 72 years old. I'm guessing Ed told Ben Sherwood to go fuck himself with a stick that has splinters.
ReplyDeleteEd is very skilled at judo. Do not fuck with him.
DeleteI hope he goes of and enjoys his millions. Al Bundy brought me more laughs than any sit come father I've ever watched.
ReplyDeleteIt's time to put Modern Family out of its misery.
ReplyDeleteModern Family has sucked forever.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame Ed one bit.
He can phone it in at this point. Modern Family was a great show for the first five seasons or so but it has gone down hill a bit these past few years.
ReplyDeleteHe's 72, most ppl that age just don't give a flying f*ck anymore.
ReplyDeleteBeing over 70, he probably isn't looking for the next job, but rather where to retire.
ReplyDeleteAgree with longtimereader, his appearance on Kevin Pollak's podcast was excellent, and really showed that he truly doesn't give a fuck. He has a great story, most of which I was unaware of, having only seen him on Married With Children. I'd forgotten about his other roles, and how good he was, like in Dutch.
ReplyDeleteKPol's Chat Show is a lot of fun. Longtime listener of it.
ReplyDeleteNo opinion on this blind but I wish Ed O'Neill well
I loved "Modern Family" for the first few seasons, but haven't watched it in years.
ReplyDeleteGod bless him. He's a workingman's actor. He's earned the right to coast in his later years.
ReplyDeleteJay Pritchett of Pritchett's Closets (aka Ed O'Neill's character on Modern Family) is basically Al Bundy made good. He will always be THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND...who scored 4 TDs in 1 game to win the city/county/state/world championship for Polk High. Hmmmm hmmmm HIMMMM!!!
ReplyDeleteI still get a giggle out of this show but at the same time, good for him, he doesn't need to suck the corporate cock.
ReplyDeleteEd O'Neill is a legend. He is so beyond needing to do press at this point.
ReplyDeleteHe always finds time to do press and interviews about our hometown, Youngstown, Ohio <3
ReplyDeleteNot enough is being said about Mr. Bundy's performance while at Polk High. This disappoints me.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletei loved his performance in BLUE CHiPS
