The guitarist of a rock band known as being the “cool guys” of the industry shed this facade when a blog printed a harmless joke he made about their frontman during an answer in an interview. Even though the interviewer printed everything exactly as the guitarist said, the guitarist called the interviewer after the article was published and told him he would beat the shit out of him if he ever saw him in person. Apparently their frontman is not as nice as everyone thinks, and the guitarist was afraid for his job.
Foo fighters!! Not Dave Grohl. APRIL FOOLS

Keith Richards/Mick Bagger re: that crack about Mick's knocking up women at this stage f his life.
ReplyDeleteKeith Richards isn't afraid of anything including 98 pound Mick Jagger.

ReplyDeleteSorry but I can't associate Bon Jovi with cool.
ReplyDeleteYou’re from somewhere in Canada 🇨🇦 right?
DeleteI reckon 98 percent of the population can say the same about you....without knowing your Derek- then it would be 100
Shinedown?Zach Myers the guitarist Brent Smith the front man?
ReplyDelete+1 Coldplay, Chris Martin
ReplyDeleteThom Yorke, for all his genius, has never been thought of as Mr Nice Guy.
Yes, no way this is Radiohead.
DeleteCan’t fathom either of them as cool guys. They both seem like sissy crybabies.
Deletebon jovi
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows April Fool is the world's best guitarist...

Tell me Anthony Keidas is a good guy @Tricia
ReplyDeletekeidas wasn’t -which is far from “isnt” but he still wreaks Hollywood blvd seediness
ReplyDeleteFlea is solid .sober like Anthony.. but has had a family and it made a difference
That said -
Pretty sure AK is fighting the good fight / admirable
DeleteI keep falling in love with their music because it gets better .... I think Dark Necessities video was all about them (played out as skater chicks); says it all-they survived
Yeah I think you're right
DeleteEw ... nothin' cool about Bon Jovi!
ReplyDeleteWhy, because they wore mom jeans?
DeleteGive them a break, they were victims on their era. 👖
As much as I dread to think it, Chris Shiflett/Dave Grohl/Foo Fighters. Chris has made comments in the past about expecting every paycheck to be his last.
ReplyDeleteSteve Van Zandt (calls himself the "Coolest Little DJ in the USA")/Bruce Springsteen
ReplyDelete@Sara Got it
ReplyDeleteHow do I post a reader blind? I have a lot of stories but I only have one I need to share.
ReplyDeleteFoo Fighters is the first band that comes to mind when I think of "cool guys", but Dave Grohl has an excellent sense of humor. I can't possibly imagine him getting upset over a harmless joke.
ReplyDeleteNo sense of humor when he did carpool kaoroke, YouTube it.
DeleteNot Eddie Vedder, not Dave Grohl. I simply won't allow it. Also forbidding it to be Bruce Springsteen while I'm at it.

ReplyDeleteChris Schiflett rescinded part of this interview with AlternativeNation.net:

I’ll toss in those pillocks from Steel Panther, for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteBono / the Edge
ReplyDeleteI think Dana’s got it!
ReplyDeleteI second Keith and Mick for this.
ReplyDeleteKiki Jones - If my interview was with Alt Nation, i'd take my words back, too. What a bottom feeder Brett Buchanan is.
ReplyDeleteThis is most definitely Dave Grohl. He did an interview years back where a fellow musician said he used a click track on the Nirvana albums. Gohl instantly turned on him.
ReplyDeleteGuitarist Chris Shifflett has said he expects to get fired by Dave on a regular basis.
IMO Gohl is one of the phoniest frauds of a musician out there next to the Edge. Kurt wrote those drum parts on the Nirvana albums (he was originally a drummer). Gohl took the abuse and then abused his own band members.
Grohl hangs out in Rehoboth!
DeleteI don't care who this is unless it's one of my three favorite lead guys. I'll be so sad if this is about a) James Hetfield, b) Chris Martin or c) Dave Grohl. Please don't let it be any of these guys. They're so awesome and all seem down to earth, nice, normal people.
ReplyDeletedave grohl is a really nice dude..I know someone who has known him since they were kids and he does a lot of nice, off the radar stuff.
