The Swift and Hiddleston "romance" was the dumbest PR move of all time. No one was convinced and it pretty much confirmed all rumors of Tay Tay's personal proclivities, though the sheep don't know and probably never will.
@DDonna The Hiddleston debacle was when I realized Taylor is bearding. I wasn't reading cdan then and did not know the Taylor rumors. But the whole thing was so far-fetched and ridiculous, a lightbulb went off and I was just like, "oh right! Taylor's gay!"
@Thonker well, she's turned her name into a high quality, sellable brand and makes her own business choices. Her choices seem to be good ones as she hasn't had to resort to yachting or any of that mess. She supposedly took classes at NYU, and she began a summer camp to empower teenage girls. years ago, she started bearding for Josh Kushner, a wealthy gay guy with a powerful family lots of connections. It was a safe choice at the beginning and kept her from getting molested or propositioned all the time and he kept a quiet social media presence.
So what does this Kushner get out of it? Are they both 'closeted'? Because otherwise I'm not tracking. She gets cover. Ok. But what does he get? A hot chick on his arm? Is that the currency? So he can brag? I sincerely don't get it.
You're right Joel unless it's double bearding it really doesn't make much sense for him, unless she's bi-sexual. But rich guys love their trophy relationships and showing them off, so there's that.
@Joel Theriot Yes, Kushner is closeted too (watch some videos of him; his mannerisms are not exactly straight) and needs to appease foreign investors in Oscar, his health company. Karlie as his "girlfriend" gives him a straight, squeaky clean image. Follow the money.

@Lisa - Karlie is actually one of the very rare models who managed to get into the top without resorting to yachting. And according to the grapevine, she’s a gold star lesbian. So if she ever decides to yacht, most probably she’ll sleep with the lesbos in the industry. She doesn’t need it though since she’s already rich and she’s being taken care of by Tay Tay’s wealth. Karlie beards simply because she was hired by Kushner to be a beard when she was just 19 years old if I’m not mistaken. They are double bearding. Karlie is pretty smart in the sense that she used her bearding situation with Kushner to network for her business. She was actually pretty open about her sexuality when she was just starting too. And it was rumoured that she had a relationship with Toni Garnn as well.

Is she really that intelligent though? Living life as a beard? Everywhere she and her gay husband go people will be gossiping behind her back. Seems like a dumb and embarrassing way to live but meh to each her own I guess.
