There haven't been any out cast members on SNL since the 80s. In a recent interview, Alec Baldwin talked about how there's been many closeted cast members.
They advertised Kate being gay before she even debuted. He might not have known when he hired her, but he never tried to push her in the closet. She was clearly considered a breakout performer early in her tenure.

It makes no sense for it to be Kate McKinnon. Her major credit before SNL was The Big Gay Sketch Show. She's been out from the start of her career so for Lorne not to have known would have been pretty strange.

I tend to just lurk, but the proportionality and aggressiveness of the attacks seems to be leaning towards Tricia 13.
The two of you were why I stopped reading CDAN years ago. But at that time, didn’t Tricia have a crush on Hiddleston and was going to stalk him when he was filming in Canada? Either I have the name wrong or Tricia has a new backstory.
Frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass, I simply wish they’d both go at it privately.

@iknowpeople Robert Smigel was very influential on my sense of humor, giving me a place in time to point to and claim when "SNL was funny." Every generation has their own.
Can't be Lorne, McKinnon was on Logo before SNL, he knew she was gay when he hired her. Also, Paul Brittain I'm not sure if he came out before or after SNL. Def lack of openly gay representation on that show though.
