If the show can get a long enough break and tape some shows in advance, the plan is to try and get this A list talk show host into rehab. He just can't control his drinking.
He is in a bad way. He's got his court hearing for drunkenly crashing his car and injuring a 3 year old. People think he should get off because he's Ant from Ant and Dec. He needs space and time to get better. It'll end badly.
I never could understand why Levine unceremoniously dumped and humiliated the gorgeous Nina Agdal for the so-so Behati Prinsloo, but that doesn't mean Behati deserves this kind of treatment.
I'm not questioning the answers to this blind because I think it has already been established that Fallon is the alcoholic. That is too bad, he seems like an affable young man although he sucked so bad all those years on SNL and is an insufferable suckass to everyone that comes on his show for promotional reasons and I find it totally disgusting. But, you can't help but like the man somehow and I don't wish such a horrible fate on him hopefully he gets help.
But the observation I wanted to make was about Colbert. It seems that guy makes up excuses WITH GUESTS so that he can have a drink ON CAMERA and especially can't wait for that Friday night drink to be poured (or thursday whatever day they double tape). This, in fact, was the subject of a recent blind inadvertently for it was Colbert that got JLaw day drunk before a red carpet event which made her act poorly.
What I'm saying is that I wonder how the old Catholic choir boy and friend of John Podesta is handling HIS liquor nowadays?
Fallon was hit hard by losing the "Late Night war" to Colbert, I think. Poor thing tried to be "non political" in the most political time of this country. Colbert is realy the best Late Night host for the Trump Era. He was always amazing at what he did, him and Jon both. The timing way unbeliavable. I hope Jimmy takes the break he needs and manages to find himself again.
I think Colbert can drink more responsibly that Fallon. Never heard rumours about him missbehaving while drunk, DUIs, Hitting on women, things of that nature. He`s a good Catholic boy I think, who drinks once in a while.
What I can't accept is his pathetic pandering and supplication. Disgusting. Seems like a nice enough guy though.
How far we have fallen as a culture- not one decent late nite host. To think we once had Paar, Carson, Letterman, heck even Tom Snyder beats the current losers.
Jimmy Fallon
ReplyDeleteBummer, feel bad for his family.
ReplyDeleteIf he said foreign born, I would have said Dec. Or is it Ant?
ReplyDeleteAnt.

Hear from people working backstage at Colbert. They love him and the positive work environment he creates.
ReplyDeleteJimmy is only tolerable when drunk.
ReplyDeleteJimmy is only tolerable when I'm drunk.
DeleteIMO Colbert is definitely the new king of late night -- better host, better writing, better band, better theater, better everything!

@Kate Telling - Ant plead guilty and received $120,000+ fine plus 20 month driving ban - back in rehab
ReplyDeleteI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Seth Myers!
ReplyDelete@Southern Man I agree! Fallon seems nice enough. I can’t watch him fawning & playing stupid games with every guest
Seth Meyers has a very punchable face
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pic is of Jimmy Fallon and other late night comedian/hosts in Vanity Fair: all but Fallon has a cocktail in their hand.
