Blind Item #4

This foreign born A/A- list mostly movie actor almost wasn't allowed a very important meeting with a world leader because our actor was so baked. Just reeked of pot.

They both met the pope today.

I can't imagine why he and Katy Perry were there. Maybe she wanted the Pontiff to bless the cursed property she just purchased.

  3. It’s not that hard to put on a splash of cologne. At least make an attempt. I’m not religious at all but if I’m stoned going to meet the Pope I’m going to try and at least not smell...

You could BATHE in cologne and the rest of us* would still smell the reek.

*who can’t tolerate the smell for whatever reason

  4. Nothing can cover the stench of pot. I had a neighbor that smoked it all the time. Of course I had to be allergic to the stuff unless it was laced with something I am allergic to.

  5. Who the fuck goes to meet the Pope stoned? I am not religious at all (and a Jew on top of that), but what an asshole.

Inconsiderate people, stupid people, and people who smoke it to treat their anxiety?

    2. Screw the Pope - I’m glad Bloomin’ Onion met him stoned. I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for the Pope’s apology to Indigenous people in Canada for the Catholic Churches crimes during the Residential School genocide era.

  9. Katie was there for a summit and was presenting on meditation.

The oil and seeds have been used for centuries to promote bowl movements.

God made poison ivy. Will you smoke poison ivy?

    2. If I had cannabinoid receptors in my brain that bind to compounds in poison Ivy, I would. I don't tho, and neither do you. What we do have are cannabinoid receptors in our brain that bind to the cannabinoids in cannabis that eliminate inflammation in the body and help play a role in keeping one healthy mentally and physically. Homeostasis..... Seems like we are meant to use a substance internally if we have receptors for said substance in our brain. Cannabinoids are also found in some foods and Breast milk. Every plant has a purpose, whether we are smart enough to figure it out or not 😉

  12. Yes Katie was seeking a special dispensation of forgiveness
From the Pope for causing that Nun to croak from the stress!

  13. What is actually going in the Vatican civil war right now?

  14. Perhaps Katy had to apologize personally to the Pope for using black magick to kill the nun? She overstepped her bounds!

I think the fake Pope's got things mostly in hand at the Vatican. He's playing some whack a mole, for sure, but the moles mostly seem whacked so far.

    3. @Ddonna If someone did or could use black magic to kill a nun, do you really, logically, think that same person would feel any reason to go to the pope, of all people, to apologize?

I can’t really imagine someone into “black magic” who would feel it’s compatible with Catholicism and respecting the Pope as a spiritual authority. That just seems weird.

A lot of these celebs claim to be Christians in public but in private they participate in rituals. Photos & video are available if one wishes to dig. Coachella & Burning Man festival attendance are giveaways. Strange how the founder of Burning Man recently died.

    5. @TW

That’s what I mean. If the celebs follow a different path, seeking forgiveness from the Pope makes no sense.

And I say this as a pagan. I mean, I’d be happy to sit down to tea with Pope Francis as he’s interesting and refreshing. Just like I’d love to have tea with the Dalai Lama and George W Bush.

But I have less than no inclination to go to any of them for anything remotely regarding forgiveness. I have nothing for them to forgive anyway.

    6. REALLY? discussing if/why Katie P killed a nun w/ her black magic????

That's ridiculous!! I'm sure she used her telepathic powers or magic pixie dust. Why ask pope for forgiveness? She could just knock him off too... easy peasy.

  15. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't meet the Pope any way BUT stoned. Weed got me through a total of 14 years of playing Candyland with various nieces and nephews, and eventually my own kids. Francis might just be the coolest Pope ever, but he's still a Pope.

  16. I never thought I'd end up in a CDAN blind!!! (Kidding, kidding.) Anyway: What actual Catholic would be able to meet the current Pope NOT high as f*ck? This guy... Jeez. I'm with him riiiiiiight up to the point where he kinda gets all dictator-y.

maybe it was a private meet & greet he missed with him?

  20. I'm starting to wonder whether this is just another PR relationship. I mean, they've only been back together for like 5 minutes, and they attend a meeting with the friggin' POPE together? Idk, but to me that is quite a bold statement about their relationship. A little TOO bold to feel natural at this stage. Like walking the Oscars red carpet together after just one date.

  21. Crazycatlady the apology to Canada's indigneous people was already made by Pope Benedict to and accepted by then National Chief Phil Fontaine of the Assembly of First Nations. Justin Trudeau is asking for another apology not for us aboriginal peoples but for his own glory.

IF this pope apologizes again it nullifies the first apolgy that was so graciously accepted by Phil Fontaine. Remember Phil Fontaine was the first to publicly speak about his own abuse in the residential school. He bravely opened the pandoras box and for years demanded recognition for the abuse suffered by the aboriginal people in their culture and families because of the RS system. If this brave man accepted the apology then it is good enough for me.

  22. Larry, the founder of Burning Man, died at 70 after suffering a massive stroke not long ago. WTF is so strange about that? Will never understand the need to see a frickin conspiracy behind everything.

  25. They needn't have worried. Frank probably assured him that it's not his place to judge anyone's vices, and then asked if they needed any quickie annulments while they were there.

@Southern Man, he's not, unless you stretch the meaning of "Christian" to something like "anyone who thinks Jesus had some good ideas." He doesn't even pretend to be Catholic.

@Geeljire, the enemy won that war at Vatican II; they've been in control of the place since then. The Catholics are back in the catacombs.

  28. In Italy they call Francis 'The Muslim Pope'. He's a marxist, like southern man pointed, out, an Islamophile and for a Pope, shockingly and inappropriately political. He famously declared that 'All of Africa's children are welcome in Europe'. But he did not say where that would leave INDIGENOUS EUROPEANS!
He does nothing about the persecution of his 'children' in the Middle East and African countries, and thinks that Europe should accept more muslim instead.

Nobody in Europe takes him seriously or likes him, Italian abhor him, and even the most fervent Catholics, like the Polish, despise him, hence he needs to import stoned and sub-educated celebrities from Hollyweird for photo ops.

  30. He probably still smelled better than Johnny Depp.

  31. Neither is remotely Catholic. Perry is a lapsed Fundie. Bloom is part Jewish, part C of E, raised who-knows-what, and last anyone heard, practicing Buddhist. His ex Miranda WAS raised Catholic, but as far as anyone knows, she has never worshipped anything except her own fame and profit.

  32. Why any 'world leader' needs to meet Orlando Bloom is a complete mystery. Don't care how unpopular a fellow/woman is!

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Theresa - Every time I'm reminded of how horrible indigenous peoples have been treated, I get all furious inside & start swearing, because IMHO if we had let them keep their lands and their traditions, the world would be less F*ed up, less polluted, and less full of evil. In this respect white people sucked, and I'm sorry to be one.

Having been made to go to Catholic grammar school, which is a rotten way to spend 8 years, I would just say 'no, thanks' to a visit with ANY pope, and probably get out the bong.
