@Disco D I agree with Aoife. Look at Peaches Geldof. Mother famously OD'd on heroin when she was 11. She did the same 14 years later - and had battled it for years already.
That cara exaggerated her 'mental issues' so people would feel sorry for her only becoming a model because of her connections. She seems to want to be seen as the wild child of this generation. she comes across as fake
Suki does not embody the "heroin chic" look, IMO. For the young'ns here, that was a trend in the late 90s I want to say. Think ultra skinny (beyond model skinny) , gaunt, no boobs, sunken eyes, frowny face, somewhat homely. Kate Moss was a big one, plus many others I can't remember. Norman Reedus & Vincent Gallo were the guy versions and never really changed their look.
Not that you can't do heroin and not look like that. But that's what the reference means. Suki is model skinny, and may very well be using heroin, but is too curvy and pretty to be called heroin chic.

People always assume that thin equals heroin while Philip Hoffman was a rounded guy when he kicked the bucket from heroin. I think heroin addicts can be skinny but not necessarily always. But I think this is suki Waterhouse. She bearded for cooper then skaarsgard or is it Alexa Chung? They are both pro beards who are foreign born.
