Blind Item #14

Being covered up, or at least trying to cover it up was the discovery on set of this now shut down show. There were multiple cameras in each trailer, dressing room, wardrobe and hair and makeup. Literally hundreds of cameras in any place where there was any chance of nudity. The show, a tween type show, had hundreds of tweens cycled through the seasons. It is unknown how many thousands of images and recordings exist. The executives at the network are trying to keep all of this quiet because they would be potentially facing hundreds of lawsuits from anyone who was a victim. This all came out after the show runner was fired.

  7. Just watched a (bad) western with Kirk Douglas and the great Bruce Dern called Posse which featured a one-armed, one-legged actor named James Stacy (born Maurice Elias). Looked him up and discovered he was a convicted, imprisoned child molester who recently passed. Read an article from Stacy's former, fellow prison inmate at Chino. Stacy got his own in prison as hinted at by the following quote from the article:

“So ... you like to fuck little girls, huh Mr. Elias?” Thumper said. “Well, that’s cool. Because I like to fuck old disabled dudes who fuck little girls.”

Let's hope Dan-the-Man-with-a-Van gets a similar comeupppance some day. Read the uplifting article here:

  10. If Nick legit didn't know about it, turn over the tapes to the police and let Schneider hang! Instead of cover ups, they should be serving him up! Then again, depending on how complicit they were, they might fry along with him. I don't get it! He created all these hits but those silly tween shows are SO easy to create. ANY show runner off the street could do this kind of work. Laugh tracks, ridiculous slapstick jokes and storylines. WHY did they need Dan S to be a success? He was replaceable, despite his track record. A Ryan Murphy, Steve Bochco (RIP) or David E Kelly, Alan Ball, Shonda Rhimes type I might UNDERSTAND their (however dim witted and immortal) protection of their investment and cash cow but a former child actor and rapist who wrote lame kiddie shows? they could have fired him ages ago and should have!

    2. Yeah, it seems like an easy formula to copy. DS shows are wiah fulfillment situations where the kids go to a cool school or something and have no supervision. Any adult surrogates are buffoons that the kids easily manipulate.

There is no way "Nick legit didn't know about it."

As for why Schneider was untouchable, well, if hidden cameras had been his M.O. for years, I'm sure there were many many people happy to cover for him so that "gravy" train kept rolling.

Then again, some deep web blogs digging into him swear he's a satanic high priest in the L.A. region. Not #1, but up there. Take that as you will. It's always possible both points are correct.

  25. @Pattyyy: in case you didn't catch it before, check out the blind we posted in January:

    http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2018/01/four-for-friday-its-about-time-himmmm.html

As far as this blind goes, and as an interesting metaphor, imagine you inherit your dad's big house. Your old Pop has been in the nursing home many years, and was close to your male cousin. The cousin has been living there and paying HUGE rent to your Dad which he shared with the whole family. But your cousin just got kicked out and moved out. Because neighbors and locals on Facebook began gossiping about rumors that the cousin was doing something bad in that house. So Pop's lawyers had him evicted.

When you decide to remodel the house so you can sell it for big bucks - you discover hidden horrors. That there was a secret dungeon room in the basement where your cousin abused kids. That he'd installed hidden cameras and had a kiddie porn operation. Even though your dad was in the nursing home, he enjoyed the tons of money your cousin paid him in rent. Your family was unknowingly complicit for taking that big rent money all this time, and it turns out your senile old Dad had secrets too, which your cousin used to blackmail him. They protected each other, but Pop is too old now to care and times change.

You go talk to the cops who tell you that so much time has passed they can't do much. Even the evidence is tricky because of the high standard to prosecute and get a conviction. The D.A. hesitates because your cousin and Dad have pals who are big contributors. The victims won't testify against your cousin (or are scared they'll ruin their own careers/lives/families) and your Dad's dementia means he's unreliable.

So what do you do? Do you invite reporters in for a big story that will reveal all - even though it'll have little effect? Do you risk your cousin suing you for defamation/slander since the victims are scared to go on record? And NOW - the BIGGIE: Since your goal is to sell the house...you risk killing the value of the home. Because nobody wants to buy or be associated with a house of horrors. Who wants their kids to grow up there? Or risk being bullied at school about their new house? So would you just forget it all, finish the remodel, and sell it? Or destroy your house's value and make a big trending fury by exposing it - ALL FOR NOTHING?

That's an analogy of the situation at the studio/corporation now. I'm not saying the boss lady is innocent nor am I saying the Producer pervert is walking away free and clean. It's a fluid, real time situation. Lawyers ARE involved and the big MEDIA are watching every move closely trying to get victims to go on record. I do think those coming forward are building up to the pervert's downfall. He's already lost his deal; and no big studio/company is willing to partner with or back him. They know the stories and the pressure and because of what's been said on gossip sites and social media - they don't wanna be in biz with him and risk it now in this Time's Up era. So that's a good thing.

Just watch closely at what happens next, and the moves being made. It never comes fast enough but it may eventually lead to justice. We just have to see. Just know that due to the efforts of a LOT of people - his sins are catching up to him. As long as people know it and continue keeping it alive, he'll carry that weight around his neck until it snaps. It's all about time.

I hope it comes to pass, I really do.

  27. @Himmmm - I would also imagine it’s challenging to get the victims to come forward. It’s hard enough to be that age as a normal kid dealing with normal everyday tween/teen problems, but then they now have to deal with something seriously grown up as this when they are still in the early years of learning about sexuality. Heck, when I was that age I was just worried about aqua net, geometry tests, and if my crush was going to ask me to homecoming. My guess is that they were conditioned to feel that they were somehow to blame for what happened to them, which I’m sure leads to some self doubt and embarrassment.
Perhaps there are also some parents who feel they didn’t do enough to protect their kids. Maybe they felt they could trust the powers that be, or feel that they missed clues from their kids.
We have a friend who’s kids are in the industry. One had quite a huge part in a huge movie, and the other is being looked at by Nick for a possible show. After reading these blinds I hope that they make it out ok.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It takes incredible bravery and resiliency for any victim to of abuse or harassment to come forward and stay the course. #MeToo has cracked the door for possibility and hope of a changed environment with justice for all. But the reality is in Himmmm’s analogy. The burden and personal cost to deliver the standard of proof required in our justice system to get a conviction is most often carried by the victim start to finish. It can take years, enormous resources and support to get through that rollercoaster ride. No easy road to justice in criminal court. How many of us really know what difficult decisions we’d make in this position; as victims, parents, lovers or co-workers? If it’s got to be death by 1,000 paper cuts for some of these fucking predators, then I’m celebrating every damn one. And the people inflicting them.

  40. From 2009: a post on conspiracy website godlike productions:

Jessica Simpsons MTV house in Calabasas had hidden cameras everywhere

Something about to be exposed, and it's unbelievable it has stayed under wraps this long, is the fact that the illuminati controlled (satanic) MTV decorated and furnished the house in which Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey lived and filmed 'Newlyweds', was literally full of cameras. Not just the ones that everyone knew about. MTV had the house well before Nick and Jessica moved in. There were hi-tech cameras placed throughout the house that could not be seen. They have footage and audio of everyone who ever came into the house and everything that ever happened there and in every room.

If you ask how I know, I can only say that I do. This will be spreading around the rumor mill soon and you can remember you read this here. One person that helped set the cameras in the Calabasas home wants out of the web of the MTV groups evil ways. He said that the footage has been copied due to several who had it and that it is only a matter of time before this comes out. He says that they have things on film that will be extremely humiliating to many people. They have video of things that will shock even Jessica. Yes, they have lots of video of Jessica nude and having sex. That is the least shocking of what the footage contains however.

The former MTV employee is talking now because of fear. He is now in hiding far away from California. He wants this to begin to go public not to devastate the Simpsons. He thinks that if it is out, then many will be implicated and they will no longer hunt for him. He knows that he will be prosecuted when this all is exposed. That is if he is found.

Something very interesting to note is what he said was the real reason this was done. He said that many within the know at MTV say that Jessica has spoken of the fact that she is some sort minister thats real mission here was to lead people to Christ. She said on many occasions to ones there that she knew that someday she would "get her life back to serving God" and that she would use her fame to lead many to Christ. Obviously, MTV and who is really behind it are luciferian to the core. He said they will not let her or her family turn back. I guess this is what happens when you deal with the devil."

(Take it for what it's worth. Viacom/Paramount/MTV likely have tons of hidden cameras in sets. It's a perfect way to blackmail your cast into submission)

    ReplyDelete
  41. We all know who this is but Himmmm makes a good point. Nothing is accomplished at this point by burning down the entire house. And I have to wonder, if I was a victim, if I would WANT it all to come out? I would rather privately deal with my own issues, not have the dirty details splashed all across the Internet. There's a fine line between a hunt for truth and humiliating/victimizing someone who is already a victim. I just hope the settlements are large and that none of the victims' careers are negatively impacted.

  43. Following the "Web of Slime" leads to many older "creepy" Nickelodeon shows and showrunners.

This didn't start with Dan Schneider. Though he is prolific (in multiple ways)

The first sketch comedy show on Nickelodeon was the Canadian show YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION (1979-1990)

Les Earnest Lye CREATED the show that began Nick's obsession with "sliming" children.

One of the main running gags of the show was a family of "preverts" led by Lance Prevert [Les Lye] (a slovenly, drunken, corrupt Canadian senator and father)

Viewers in the U.S. were given the opportunity to enter the Slime-In, a contest hosted by Nickelodeon that flew the winner to the set of You Can't Do That on Television to be slimed

The end of the show featured an increasing reliance on bathroom humour to attract a younger audience than the show had targeted in years past, as well as a reliance on more slime and water gags (which was supposedly at the request of Nickelodeon executives).

Les Let's next "children's" show for Nickelodeon?

    "Whatever Turns You On"

  44. #webofslime

Although the slime was usually green, other colors, such as red, blue, yellow, and even black and white, were occasionally used. 1981's "Safety First" episode, which featured white slime as part of a recurring joke in about "wearing white at night," was the first episode known to have used a slime color other than green.

According to Geoffrey Darby in the book Slimed! An Oral History of Nickelodeon's Golden Age, the original slime developed "by accident": Darby had originally planned for a bucket of food leftovers from the CJOH cafeteria, with water added, to be dumped on Tim, but the production of that first episode was delayed by a week, and when the time came to shoot the scene, the contents of the bucket had turned green with mold. Due to time constraints, Darby authorized the noxious, moldy mixture to be dumped on Tim anyway.

  45. I feel like some bad stuff must have gone down at We Salute Your Shorts. I mean, it takes place at a summer camp and the title refers to running a kid's underwear up a flagpole.

    ReplyDelete
  46. The Opening Sequence of You Cant Do That On Television is titled:

    "Children's Television Sausage Factory"

The animation depicts a sausage grinder atop a factory; children being "built" on an assembly line; then being bussed to a tv studio.

    Again. Children's Television Sausage Factory.

The metaphor of how kids are built and destroyed on the entertainment industry, and a sexual double-entendre....

Also the show frequently makes cannibalism jokes and repeated threats of violence to the child actors. Really gritty stuff for a kids show.

  51. @Schneiderisnext Wowzer, that's a MASSIVE story to come out about the Simpsons... Do you think it's something Nick and Jessica were onboard with/aware of? Or didn't know about? I can't help thinking of the time that episode of Punkd was filmed there...

Regarding the whole "victims talking" thing, I think @Himmmm's analogy is perfect. While you know coming clean about everything that happened would (hopefully) serve justice to those who have done wrong, and to assist other victims in their own strengths in coming forward, sometimes the moral gain is not always worth the personal loss. I think is why Jamie Lynn (should the CDAN theory be correct) will never speak. The story that is often discussed here is most likely the most horrific of all DS's crimes - though I'm sure there are many more skeletons in his disgusting cupboard - she would change her daughter's life forever if she were to go on record. Her daughter is talked about enough on sites like this without any official confirmation of the rumours, but it would be a horrendous personal struggle for a mother to decide whether to talk openly about such an awful crime, knowing that it would forever label her child as "that kid who was..."

    1. Agree 100%. It’s hard for an adult to come to terms with being raped and then having to re-live it. I can’t imagine how hard it would be for a child who still may not grasp exactly what happened to them and having to publicly re-live it. Sometimes it’s easier to just get the help you need to continue on with your life and move forward and unfortunately put the perpetrators in your past. I unfortunately know this first hand, as do too many others. Unfortunately, this is why too many rapes and molestations go in reported. Rape is a very private and embarrassing thing to talk about, not to mention that if it’s not violent then there is always the accusations that you were somehow to blame for the assault.
In the case of younger kids, I can imagine that there may be some guilty feelings on the parents part because they feel they didn’t do enough to protect their children. Like you said, they also don’t want to watch their kids have to go through re-living the horrible experience.

    2. @jessorella I don't think they were completely aware.

While aware of the crew and film cameras, these spycams were physically hidden. I'm sure they had no grounds to sue, because the contract likely allowed the studio to film them 24/7. They just presumed they'd be given some privacy.

I expect most reality tv shows operate this way

  56. @velvet voice

This is why celebrities went with the #metoo movement. It's very accurate and captures some of Hollywood's abuse culture...But ignores worst part.

The truly revolting #OpenSecret is that child porn has been prevalently produced by those already in the film industry...often with the same equipment.

Considering the black market nature of the product, and the history of porn driving video technologies. Combined with the relatively recent phenomenon of age of consent laws, it's fairly obvious that Hollywood, film production, and childrens media are @ the center of CP production.

The democratization of ChildPorn production is recent and coincides with the advent of digital video. This lack of black market revenue is another reason Hollywood is dying financially.

  57. California Child Protective Services (CPS) allows for the wholly anonymous reporting of suspected child abuse. Do the Schneiders have minor children?

    more info

    how to report human trafficking

Topically relevant elder abuse link 1

Topically relevant elder abuse link 2

    Child Protective Services
The Child Protective Services is the major system of intervention of child abuse and neglect in California. Existing law provides for services to abused and neglected children and their families. The Child Protective Services goal is to keep the child in his/her own home when it is safe, and when the child is at risk, to develop an alternate plan as quickly as possible.

If you suspect that a child has been, or is in danger of, abuse or neglect , contact the county Children's Protective Services 24-hour emergency response phone. You may also contact the police of county sheriff.

When a referral is received, the social service staff obtains facts from the person making the referral to determine if the referral alleges abuse, neglect, or exploitation. The Emergency Response staff determines if an in-person response is indicated. Whenever an report indicates the need for protection, Child Protective Services will:

    Accept the case
Intervene in the crisis, if required
Apply Family Preservation and Support Services for some families
Assess or identify problems, gather facts and clarify the problems
Plan and provide services, set goals, identify resources and timeframes
    Document the case
Terminate the case or transfer it to another program
Approximately 12 months of services are provided to children who remain safely in the home while the family receives services. If it is determined that a child cannot remain in the home, even with family preservation and support services, then foster placement is arranged in the most family-like setting, that is located close to the parent's home, consistent with the best interests of the child.

Up to 18 months of services are provided to children and their families when a child has been removed from the home and the family is making progress toward reunification. When a child cannot be returned to a safe home after services have been delivered, the child must be provided with a family-like living arrangement as soon as possible.

    For Whom
These services are available to children and their families when children are victims of, or at risk of, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or parental absence. California law defines child abuse as any of the following:

A child is physically injured by other than accidental means.
A child is subjected to willful cruelty or unjustifiable punishment.
A child is abused or exploited sexually.
A child is neglected by a parent or caretaker who fails to provide adequate food, clothing, shelter, medical care or supervision.
Community members have an important role in protecting children from abuse and neglect. If abuse is suspected, a report should be filed with qualified and experienced agencies that will investigate the situation. The California State Child Abuse Reporting Law provides the legal basis for action to protect children and to allow intervention by public agencies if a child is being abused.
