  1. All these men in their purple and burgundy skinny suits are giving me all the eye rolls

  2. These are the sort of people who still order velour wallpaper for their kitchens. The 70s are over, people!

Yes, the colors will date faster than avocado-colored refrigerators, but the real problem is the skinny pants. Uncomfortable and bound to wear out quickly. The skinny ties are bad also -- probably better to just go without. Luke Bryan in the previous set of photos actually looked pretty good.

  6. Skinny jeans on men? Hipsters ruin everything, even country music, apparently.

  8. You got to hand it to the country music industry, they never let us down with the laughs on the red carpet. The Oscars and Golden Globes were a snoozefest.

  10. Being from the south, with southern parents, and a child of the 60s, 70s, i grew up on Country music. I actually really liked Country music, Waylon, Hank, Jr. George Strait, Reba, Barbara etc. I grew up, and still enjoyed country music, from Garth to Tim, but in the last 15 years, country music, has really tanked. There are very few newer singers that even are worth listening to. I have no idea what that Maren chick was attempting to croak out last night, my husband looked up once from homework and asked why a rapper was on the country music awards when one of the guys was being shown. The clothes were horrendous, I just do not get it. I have not listened to Country at all in years, preferring my rock and alt music, but Hubby loves Reba so we turned it on just to watch her.
Now i know why i turned off the country station years ago.

    1. +10000. Truthseeker!! I love George Jones, Loretta Lynn and Buck Owens!! Nothing beats the 70's country music . Grew up in R and B, jazz loving Household with Rock n Roll. We would watch Hee Haw on Sundays for the jokes! Special times back then. You should try alternative country. Shooter Jennings is awesome! Son Volt too

    2. I agree with Sd Auntie & Truthseeker.

Country music started going downhill in the 80s. Now people sing with fake accents & a guitar claiming it is country music.

  12. Country music is more country rock than country these days although twangy country is coming back thanks to Miranda.

  13. I have absolutely no idea who any of these fuckers are.

Then again, you could write what I know about country music on the back of Meryl Streep's conscience.

  14. Not that I'm a country music fan, but I recognize none of these names / people.

  15. Same, Lonely Bastard.
My husband tried to introduce me to country but I can only recognize Hank III (because he's ridiculous) and Garth Brooks. My gym playlist it pretty much Rammstein though, so I don't think me and country were ever going to work out.

  16. @Orangesoda:

Whenever I'm on night shift and I feel the old head starting to droop, I usually stick Du Hast or Sonne on my earphones full blast to shake out the cobwebs. It works everytime. Funnily enough it makes me want to invade Poland though, and it was a Polish mate in the factory that got me into them....that and the video for Sonne. What a beautiful girl!

  17. I have no idea who any of these people are. <<< classic country, if any country music here.

  18. @Lonely Bastard
Oh no, don't talk to me about invading Poland. I was born in Russia - my people get tempted very easily when it comes to invading close by foreign countries!
Seriously though, country just drains the life out of me. I have to go on long drives sometimes overnight and I do the same thing as you. Du Hast on full blast at 3am will definitely give you an energy boost!

  19. Never seen or heard of anyone in this line-up but there sure are some odd looking birds in there.

  20. I don't know who these people are, but right off the bat I thought that Tegan Marie was sort of cute, so I looked her up. She's 14 years old.

  21. *sigh* I wish stylists would stop styling fourteen year old girls to look like they are 20 years old. Millie bobby Brown anyone? Cut down on the makeup and dress them age appropriately.

Some goofball stylist has kind of ruined Jake.
I saw him working live in Florida, when he was first starting out. Long hair, a denim jacket, raw talent, owned the stage.
The way he looks now, I wouldnt even notice him.

  24. Lots of, ok, 100%, unfortunate clothing choices for everyone pictured.
