This former A- list mostly movie actor who all of you know despite the fact he has not worked in years tried to get the tabloids to do what they do and write a story about him. They were up for it until he said that he wanted to look good and his acting brother to look bad. The tabloids think the brother is a bigger star so won't cross him.
Randy and Dennis Quaid

Randy and Dennis Quaid
I still don’t know which is which. Both look like nutjobs
ReplyDeleteI thought Randy was still in hiding trying to avoid "star-whackers" 🤔
ReplyDeleteAt this point in time it would take a miracle to make Randy look good. Dennis is the handsome one Randy was the goofy looking one who now looks like a lice infested homeless loon.
ReplyDeleteRandy has some serious neurological issues going on, he's not crazy, he's got a mental disorder.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you totally on this.
DeleteRandy is not all there, that's for sure. Genetics is fascinating
ReplyDeleteNice Family
ReplyDeleteAre you so sure Randy is crazy? It seems there might be some starwacking going on.
ReplyDeleteLove Dennis
ReplyDeleteI was gonna write the same thing! 😁
DeleteThe tabloids don't want to cross Dennis Quaid? "Oh no, we can't go against Dennis Quaid! He'll squash us like a bug!"
ReplyDeleteIt is not like Randy was not all that wrong about people in Hollywood killing those who speak about the shit going on behind the scenes.
ReplyDeleteHollywood Star Whackers are REAL. Otherwise Randy's a nut.
ReplyDeletebut didnt meg ryan crashed dennis already enough in the past?
ReplyDeleteso no need from tabloids to protect his butt now ...
+1 feistyPanda, although it might be argued that Randy Quaid was never big enough to garner all of that attention from "starwhackers," to continue pursuing him.
ReplyDeleteThis really sucks because I LOVED Randy Quaid, probably because his mental status made him perfect to play people like Cousin Eddie, and not just that role. This interview, tough, is just..out there.

Of course I have a problem with Dennis Quaid being huge enough to crush people, too--but then again, at least he has the money to fight back if they did portray him in an unfavorable light.
Oh I see, unstable guy with a wack-job harpy wife Evi Quaid (definite signs of a personality disorder).

Oh they seem so fresh and new at first, but that's when the nightmare begins.
Is it me or does Randy Quaid seem to have become his Independence Day character?
ReplyDeleteThat was my first thought when it first appeared as a blind!
ReplyDeleteRandy is totally CrayCray and so is his wife.
Give them a reality show STAT.
Um, excuse me??? **raises hand**
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth make Randy Quaid A- list?
Sure I loved the vacation movies too, but, I just don't see it. maybe the shitters full, but I just don't see it.
La-Juice maybe cause BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN but I would have named him B+ SPECIALLY after KING PING ...
ReplyDeleteRandy is the one with the more prestigious nominations (Oscar and multiple Golden Globe, BAFTA, & Emmys). However, Dennis was the handsome leading man who dated America's sweetheart. Randy was always the supporting quirky guy.
ReplyDeleteAs for not wanting to cross Dennis? I don't think that's really it. It's fine to print "Randy Quaid says aliens are controlling teams of CIA death squads and people should prepare" or whatever nonsense he believes nowadays. That's entertainment journalism of the "What the hell drug is he on?" type. But to include disparaging rantings specific to his brother would not be acceptable.
Time passes and people forget, but Randy Quaid was a major Hollywood actor--maybe not a 'star,' but a major actor--for roughly two decades. Oscar nomination for "The Last Detail," worked with many major directors and appeared in multiple blockbuster films.

His brother got a lot more attention from the magazines because he was handsome and dated starlets, but he didn't appear in nearly so many successful movies. In fact, moviegoers generally seemed indifferent to him, even as he kept getting top roles. I did love him in 'The Big Easy" and as Doc Holliday.

As for the Starwackers stuff, after Harvey and his Mossad crew and what we know about the "Glee" guy and a bunch of other dead bodies in Hollywood in the past century, do we really think Randy Quaid is so crazy? I mean, he might be crazy, but he might not be crazy about everything.
And, oh: They wouldn't want to cross Dennis because Randy's a one-time story and Dennis will be promoting movies for years to come. Plus maybe Randy's not being honest about it, who knows?
ReplyDeleteFYI, I've seen Dennis Quaid smoke meth in a hotel room.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteWhen I met him on the set of Frequency, he was trying to quit cigarettes and his character smoked, so he had fake cigarettes made for the role. Maybe they had meth in them?
ReplyDeleteRandy looks like a lice infested homeless loon
