It is always about money and this most famous member of a reuniting group wants the most money for agreeing to participate but wants to also do the least amount of work. I was never a fan anyway.
There was posh spice, and sporty spice and ginger spice. Have I left anyone out? Oh yeah whore spice, Mel B will always be my favorite. Her virgine is a national treasure, should be put in a museum for future generations to study.

ReplyDeleteAs UK resident with some years under my belt now I'm pretty sure that a project like this would fill out several of our bigger stadiums over a number of night. You underestimate just how many 30-40 year old housewives will be up for something like this, just as their mothers and sisters were for the return of Take That.
ReplyDeleteAs for money? Nope. Not about the money. It was agreed that they would get £10M each and that's a tasty earner seeing as they made very little the first time around.
The problem here is Beckham but not for the reasons Enty suggests. Negotiations on money were done and agreed some time ago. Posh is terrified. She insisted that at no point would she have to sing and that took some time to negotiate but it was agreed ( meaning the usual mime act they often did ). She can't sing. She knows she can't sing and she's not likely to be able to keep enough calories in her to sustain a dancing tour. She was still in last week but is definitely out now. But that's out of what was already planned. It does not mean there won't be future projects which are less demanding on all their meagre talents but just as lucrative an outcome.
She simply does not want to do it and given she's the only one who actually has any real money she definitely does not need it.
Holy Jesus in heaven. Who in their right minds would pay to see the Spice Girls in 2018?
