Blind Item #40 - Oscars - Himmmm

It's been many, many years since we'd all been together at once, and we were all very close more than 20 years ago.  It began as I was standing and talking with this (permanent A list mostly movie actress) after the ceremony, and it brought back a lot of memories.  I could fill 100 blogs with those stories! Families, laughs, wild and good times.  A short while later this (A+ list mostly movie actor) joined us too.  Which led us to talking about being on a movie set in the 1990's of (a movie based on a book); and the director of it and things we've heard about him.  They too had heard the same awful things, especially about the director and this (former A-/B+ list mostly movie actor).

The actress told me something has always haunted her about that young actor, and the director, and another adult actor.  Then the actress floored me with what she said.  Back then she was interviewed by investigators over 20 years ago about the director and this adult actor, (disgraced former A list mostly movie actor), concerning abuse of local boys.  It was allegedly covered up by this (A list author).  It was about something the director and adult actor did while casting local boys back during the making of that one movie we were all (unfortunately) a part of back then.

She said she didn't see anything happen by the director, but may have seen something she wasn't supposed to concerning the actor.  She said the writer was being investigated then for accusations of using his considerable local legal "pull" in the locations of that film to shut down an investigation.  She was asked about it, and answered truthfully, but the entire case disappeared.  Which explains the writer's desire to move to another state not long after.  My actor friend said he too had been contacted by investigators back then about the director, but had forgotten all about it until now.  The thought made all three of us sick.

We agreed to reunite in a few months when our schedules allow, and try to find out what happened to those investigations, the boys, and if the writer did indeed shut down those cases to protect the director (whose movies were a big revenue stream which made the writer very wealthy).  We want to do this, not for a movie or television show, but for the memory of that dead young actor.  This will not be the end of it I assure you.

  22. There was another kid in the Client whose last name was Speck? Never heard anything about him again. Lots of that movie was shot in New Orleans, some in Memphis. Nothing good ever happens in either of those places. Brad Renfro was from my current city, I'd love to know what happened to him. He's not forgotten around here.

  26. Tricia figured it out. A Time To Kill, Himmmm talked to Sandra Bullock, Matthew Mac. They discussed being on the set with Spacey and Schumacher, and also the rumors they've heard about Schumacher and Renfro.
Now from what I get from this blind, is Himmmm telling us that he is someone from the movie A Time to Kill?

    ReplyDelete
  27. It doesn't say the young actor is dead, just that something awful is said to have happened to him while filming (so there's no need to try and make Renfro work for this). Sadly, this can probably be said of any young actor who filmed with Schoemacher and/or Spacey, so take your pick. I think @Tricia13 got it.

  31. Sand1, I don't think Susan Sarandon or Tommy Lee Jones were at the Oscars. I didn't even see them photographed at any pre or after parties.

Mag, it's Renfro. The blind talks about a dead young actor and exposing the truth for his memory. Renfro wasn't in A Time to Kill, but he was in Joel Schumacher's The Client. The blind is talking about how the trio discussed their involvement with the director on the set of ATTK, AND addressed the rumors they heard about Joel and Renfro.

    It's a pretty easy blind.

  32. @Predilecto - He doesn't specifically say he ACTED in it, so technically he may have worked on it in some other capacity (but spending enough time on set to get really close with the main actors). Or he was in it. Anyway, he was at the Oscars last night. The ceremony was so boring that I doubt anyone has it on DVR, but if someone does, I imagine they are going through every single face right now and cross-checking everyone with the cast and crew list for that movie. ;)

  34. @Papaya - My bad, you're right. But it doesn't say the dead young actor was in that particular movie (or am I missing something again? it's very late here) on which Himmmm and the others worked. Therefore I Time to Kill fits perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I first thought Spacey in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil because there were so many locals involved. But then I realized the other players didn’t make much sense after (maybe) John Cusack and came back here to read the comments.

  36. @ Mag, yes you're right. Good catch. It didn't mention anything about being a part of the cast. But isn't it rumored Himmmm is an actor, and not RDJ? Or is he? I am still new to all this.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @ Mag- Renfro is only discussed by the trio as a rumor they've heard about Schumacher and Renfro. It doesn't mention that the actor was in ATTK. But I believe ATTK was after The Client, so the timeline about them hearing certain things fits.

    ReplyDelete
  38. What disgraced actor was in The Client? This sounds more likey Kevin Spacey in a Time to Kill

    ReplyDelete

  42. @Predilecto - Apparently there are at least 4 different Himmmms, maybe more. RDJ has been long rumoured but never confirmed. Recenty, one fo the long blinds suggested that one of Himmmms may be a certain director who was nominated last night. There are more and more clues in the blinds as to the identity of the authors, but you never know if it's the truth or misdirection ;) Personally, I wouldn't be surprised is at least one of Himmmms were a woman ;)

Plus I'm certain some shit went down on the set of Tom & Huck with JTT. Brad is dead, plus another young actor (Blake Heron, addict with unknown cause of death), plus an adult actor (Charles Rocket, who committed suicide). Seems an awful lot of tragedy for one film. 77. This blind is interesting. The director is definitely Joel Schumacher & the author is most likely John Grisham (who's a lawyer). However, the investigation may have not been about Schumacher/Spacey. It could've been about Schumacher & Charlie Sheen (maybe). Schumacher directed A Time To Kill AND Lost Boys. The dead young actor could be Brad Renfro (who was in The Client) or Corey Haim (who was in Lost Boys). Its just that investigators came to to the set of ATTK to ask about Schumacher. But the actors of ATTK pretty much all lived in Los Angeles at the time (they were just filming in Mississippi). You have to read the blinds CAREFULLY.

  83. In the J.P.Getty blind of past months, there was an off-hand reference made to the changing "tastes" of perverted rich men from young girls to young boys. I inferred that it was changing circa 1980's perhaps...

as to the changing "tastes" maybe its easier to keep young men quiet since it's more taboo they may be less reluctant to tell anyone? Just my guess. People like this who do this to children, its not really about the sexual orientation , its more about the control and the victimizing of something innocent. Pretty damn sick :( I hope all these a holes get exsposed

  85. The things thats confusing about this blind is that it fuses 2 movies, The Client and A Time to Kill.

Both movies were made by John Grisham and Joel Schumacher
A Time to Kill had Keven Spacey. Pretty much fits the disgraced A Lister
But, The Client doesn't have anyone disgraced, but had a child actor who died, Brad Renfro.

Was there a young male child actor who was in A Time To Kill, and who passed? The blind makes it sound like one movie in particular.

  86. Also Re: Corey Haim. Haim was harm in 3 separate incidents

First when he was 11, from god knows who. Feldman talks about it, but did not give any details. Its really hard to figure out who it is. He wasn't even in Hollywood by that point. I don't know.

2nd time was by Charlie Sheen in the movie Lucas.

Now the 3rd incident(s) DID happen in the Lost Boys movie. By both Marty Weiss and Dominick Brasia. Now did Schumacher ever do anything to them, I doubt it. In the Two Coreys reality show Corey Haim called out Feldman for associating with Brasia, and then they did Lost Boys 2(and I think Haim tried to do 3 idk).

I'm bringing this timeline up for those thinking Schumacher and Sheen were working together. I guess Himmm could be bringing up Haim, but it sounds more like Brad Renfro. idk

    ReplyDelete
  87. Thank you, Zero. That's what confused me as well. This is the line from the BI that has given me the most trouble since it doesn't look like there were any kids in ATTK:
"It was about something the director and adult actor did while casting local boys back during the making of that one movie we were all (unfortunately) a part of back then."

    ReplyDelete
  88. @KittensRUs - The way this BI is written, Himmmmm and Enty are actually inviting people to guess who Himmmm is as part of the fun. There is zero reasons to write "we" instead of "they" other than to provoke these speculations. There was zero reasons for Himmmm #2 to be so specific with clues in that long "crazy night" blind. When they don't want us guessing, they just don't write this way. It would just do some people here good to remember that even obvious clues do not guarantee that Himmmm actually IS who they want us to think he is.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Holy shit, Julia. I never heard that story.

    ReplyDelete
  90. A few observations :-

I doubt that Kiefer is Himmm. He previously worked with Schumacher on both The Lost Boys and Flatliners.

According to Schumacher's Wikipedia page "Grisham personally requested that Schumacher return to direct A Time to Kill".

As with several of Schumacher's movies, The Client contains some disturbing occult imagery which appears to have been deliberately imbedded. This imagery may refer to alleged 33rd level Freemasonry or Luciferianism. Observe the scene where Brad Renfro's character falls ill while imprisoned in a jail cell overnight. Written in graffiti on the wall is the slogan "The Truth Shall Set You Free." Shortly after this, at exactly 1 hour and 33 minutes into the film, there is a very prominent shot of the Memphis Pyramid, with it's "all-seeing eye" blinking atop. Those familiar with such imagery may understand the significance. Was Brad Renfro ritually abused?

The pyramid symbol also makes it's way into The Lost Boys, as detailed here :-

    https://jaysanalysis.com/2015/03/08/lost-boys-1987-revelation-of-satanic-ritual-abuse/

I feel like Feldman probably accepted hush money from these directors to not only keep quiet about their proclivities but also to run distraction for them. There was a blind a couple of months back that pretty much said exactly that (although the directors weren’t named)
I’ll see if I can find it and add the link.

  92. This is the blind I was referring to http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2018/01/todays-blind-items-real-list.html It’s an interesting read. I’m not sure if Schumacher or Spielberg fit for the directors mentioned but Feldman is so cagey about them that I believe they can be added to the real list.

  93. If RDJ really is a Himmmm then I can’t wait for his bodily fluids story! It’ll be epic! Do we know why the collective call themselves Himmmm? Could they all be connected by an M initial? Whoever they are the Himmmm’s stories are the highlight of CDAN for me, the last dance was beautiful.

As much as I am curious about himmmm, it should never get out.
Stay safe, whoever you are and thanks for the awesome blinds.

  95. @Sara wow-exactly! I was trying to find something on Laconte when you posted last night, but he's been scrubbed too. I had no idea about the bath house thing in Asia. This seems to indicate that the boys were abused during a time to kill while they were casting for the client. It makes the downward spiral of so many young kids in hwood understandable.
The MSM is totally complicit. When I read about the beginnings of hwood, the industry is so interconnected with government and politics- getting information to the public-think news reels before the advent of TV. They paint the heroes and the villains and the public draws the conclusion they want. And media moguls such as Hearst and Pulitzer-then getting involved with Hwood via zukor, goldwyn, loew, mayer, lasky) and early movie production companies by threatening regulations and censorship-this was a precursor to the monopoly that politicians, print and visual media, and hwood and their big money lawyered-up machine hold today.

The internet is the only thing which has cracked the sparkling veneer and they want to wash that too through monopolizing images (getty, bloomberg) and regulating the internet and crippling outlets and forums. Once rogue outlets like TMZ and Perez are now bought and paid for. The child victims never had a chance at receiving public support or any sort of justice. Going for a blackmail payday is probably the only recourse they have had. So much manipulation corruption and murder. Its a very dirty game.

BTW please lets not unmask Enty or the Himmmms. I'd like them to continue to operate and not be forced underground.

  96. The mystery of the Himmmms is all part of the fun, it wouldn’t be the same if we knew for definite. I greatly appreciate their contributions and hope they will always continue. It’s such a relief to know there are still some good, kind hearted souls left in Hollywood. Thank you Himmmms, you restore my faith in human nature.

  97. I am a HUGE Stephen King fan, so I can't believe he would have ANYTHING WHATSOVER to do with this...

Fact is though, he does have a home in Florida where he spends a good deal of time.

  98. Cheesegrater15,

Yeah, kinda puts these "Rock gods" where they belong.... in the dirt. There are a couple of blinds that I am waiting on for reveal. This is definitely one of them.

Just FYI, if you ever see someone reference something and you don't know what they are talking about, google this website and then semi-colon what you are looking for. For example:

    crazydaysandnight.net:Don Henley

It will usually pull something up.

Himmm, when are we going to hear about Brittany???

  100. The "permanent A list mostly movie actress" is interesting. It would be Sandra Bullock for ATTK or Susan Sarandon for The Client. I'm leaning towards Bullock.
It does seem odd to give warning that they will try to investigate in a few months. I'm sure the actress and the actor would not appreciate that being put out there.

  101. As for guessing the identities of the Himmmms, don't worry. Real or fake, the bad guys know who they are by now, you're not endangering them.
They've certainly seem to be ambivalent about secrecy in their blinds. One just confessed to an entire ballroom. Another confessed to an actor, an actress, and the Oscars' writing staff. Plus having their identities generally known helps protect them from being suicided. The subterfuge is required for legal purposes so they can't be sued.

Unless it's all just bs :) Then whoever they are, they're pretending to be certain celebrities with colorful stories to better draw attention to underreported atrocities which do seem real.

  102. I have a really good old Renfro article to share, but I'll put it in the next "your turn" so it's not buried at the bottom like this. 😉

    ReplyDelete
  103. I don't think it's necessarily saying the deceased young actor was in the movie in question. The movie definitely sounds like A Time to Kill, with Spacey, which definitely involved casting local kids. And the reference to the long-standing relationship between the director (Schumacher) and the author (Grisham) is why they connect that set of stories to Renfro and want to look into it in his memory.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Himmmm refers to the adult actor once as (former A-/B+ list mostly movie actor) and then again as (disgraced former A list mostly movie actor). I'm new around here so I'm still trying to nail down the ranking system, but would either Charlie Sheen or Kevin Spacey be A-/B+? I figured they'd be higher.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I can't think of anyone else it could be though...

    ReplyDelete
  106. @BuckSparkles - These are two different people: 1) A listy disgraced actor and 2) A-/B+ young actor who died.

  107. @Mag AHHHH yes... i see that now. thanks!

  108. @Sign Name Below

Someone posted an article about that. WTH Chapel Hill! It protects the lands of local farmers for "urban" food supply but lets John Fucking Grisham destroy the ambience of it's parks?

    Really, WTF????

Grisham is a turd. More than a few stories exist from Charlottesville.

  111. Yeah, Ashley Judd is a real POS mostly staying out of the limelight while helping disadvantaged children half way around the world. JFC, some of you people just love to tear down others just to feel better about yourselves.

    ReplyDelete
  112. BMBT, I'd be happy to support Ashley and see her act again. The issue is that Ashley has a really bad habit of tooting her own horn with false accolades. She wants a respect she has not earned and makes very defensive statements to indicate how smart she is.

That is difficult to like. If she is participating in good works, that is fantastic. Hopefully she gets a lot out of it, more than enough to ignore anyone who might insult her.

  113. I think people who were in A Time to Kill were being interviewed about Grisham, Schumacher, and Spacey in regards to their process casting for that movie...and these folks then wondering about Renfro during The Client came to mind for them because of what they were being asked about kids on their movie. Confusing matters is Renfro having been in Apt Pupil, which was Bryan Singer and Ian McKellan. Poor kid couldn't find a safe space.

"It was about something the director and adult actor did while casting local boys back during the making of that one movie we were all (unfortunately) a part of back then"

The investigation was related to something the Director and adult actor (disgraced former A list movie actor) did whilst casting LOCAL boys for the movie they were all part of back then.

Actress may have seen something she wasn't supposed to regarding the actor? Did she see something involving actor and minor LaConte?

"We want to do this, not for a movie or television show, but for the memory of that dead young actor."

LaConte McGrew - Born: Port Gibson, Mississippi on August 8th 1982 - Died: Jackson, Mississippi on August 30th 2003.

I think they're referring to LaConte. "Young actor" he had just turned 21 when he died in a car crash.

  115. Donald and Kiefer were in A Time to Kill.

  116. Let's not forget brad renfro later made a film with director Brian Singer when he was about 15, 16 (Singer's "sweetspot" from what I hear)...and according to IMDB most of Renfro's work thereafter went straight to video. Explains a lot. All the usual suspects were in attendance and passing around the young talent.

  117. @padlock

I think you got it all

  118. It's been long discussed that Renfro was abused, so this makes perfect sense.
Grisham is also known as a jerk, so I can buy this.
