Does anyone know - is this that kid's first real movie - the Timothee kid. Was he virtually unknown before? If so, then I worry a little for him because the vultures are out and he is going to be in their radar.

ReplyDeleteHe went to the "Fame" school here in NYC with Lourdes. Lourdes claims they dated. Being Madonna's daughter you would think her Gaydar would be on point. Go figure.

ReplyDeleteIt was the same situation with Leo 2 decades ago: people just assumed he must be gay cause he was so feminine looking and played Arthur Rimbaud in a movie. I still don't really buy it. But I know that Enty or whoever runs this site wants us to think he's closeted, so the answer to this blind is most likely him.
I've always thought so. Him and Coop and their moms. Plus th biggest tell is long suffering Likas Haas.

DeleteHe's 22?!??? Wow. He looks 14! Still, 22 is very young and hopefully he has a good head on his shoulders and is aware of the degenerates in his field.
ReplyDeleteLooks 14?! He isn't that big but in Europe ( I live in Germany, and he's French) that's really the typical figure of a 22-year old. I don't mean this in an offensive way but in America teenagers usually have more body mass, hit puberty sooner m and experience changes during puberty much more drastically because of the unhealthy food and low food standards. A normally healthy build young man that probably skips weight lifting or rugby should really look like that. (As always there can be exceptions). He's also having a little beard which shouldn't develop at the age of 14, but sometimes does, because of too much glutamate and processed food.

Although I haven't seen it, my understanding is that neither of the two leads (their characters, I mean) in CMBYN are supposed to be gay, which is curious given the fact that they like to have sex with other men (or in the one case 3/4 or 9/10 men). But maybe they're bisexual or something.
ReplyDeleteTimothée is at the very least primarily straight but he’s also well aware that rumors and speculation about him only help the mystique of CMBYN. I’m guessing that JLaw will end up getting that hookup before he’s 30, too. He’s also got a very protective set of parents who tend to fend off the vultures - so I’m hopeful he’ll come out of this undamaged. The question is - is JLaw a vulture?
ReplyDeleteA glimpse into the weird compulsion and fantasy that run that town...doesn't matter that the actor isn't a minor or gay,he can pretend to be, they want to recreate the fantasy they see on screen even if they have to use coersion, violence or fear to get it.
ReplyDeleteKendrick, I certainly thought the characters in CMBYN were supposed to be bisexual given both are seen showing sexual interest in women, and the sex scenes with Timothee's character and the girlfriend are even more explicit than the ones with Hammer's character and Elio is clearly enjoying himself. It's open to interpretation, though. Some people think that they are pretending to be interested in the women - but there is no doubt that the two men fall in love with each other. I think the movie is popular because it's not that concerned with labeling the characters' sexuality and they just do what they feel.

DeleteIn what world is 22 considered young? How long does it take Americans to 'grow up'? By the time I was 22 I have bought, sold and bought another house. Been engaged to be married twice and was on my second tour of Northern Ireland defending the nation against terrorists for the British Army?

ReplyDeleteThe young is definitely Timothee Chalamet he seems like a level headed young man. If the A list guy was Frank Ocean who is a hero of Chalamet they would definitely bang. The older male celebrity sounds desperate.The closeted actor could be a number of people. Wish Enty gave more info about the older male star.

Is male Bisexuality ignored or is it not common? All famous men came out publicly as Gays and all women as bisexual, men do not call themselves bisexual like women
Delete@Oracle: I just can't tell anymore. I look at those younger than me, and I'm thinking they are in their 20's (sometimes even 30s) and find out they are still in their teens! Then when I think the person is a teenager, it turns out they ARE in their 20's or older. It's clearly evident that in my aging eyes everyone is one big blur and no one looks their age. O_o

ReplyDeleteProblem with this. Timothee C was nominated but not a winner of an Oscar, as the blind states. Unless saying nominee/winner means either/or, not sure. Also, Bradley Cooper attended Sean Penns Oscar party with baby mama Irina in tow, not solo. So either he shot over to Vanity Fair party Tim (if it is even him) went to w/o baby mama, but doubt it as he was very under dressed for the VF gala (hoodie, ball cap and sweatpants). There is doubt that it is either of these actors, although would seem to fit at first glance.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most strange pap shot setup pics I've ever seen were some of Bradley cooper, sans beard if I remember correctly. Sitting on a lawn reading the book Lolita. He was holding the cover up clearly for the pap's camera to catch.?This was before the beard baby was born and I really giggling and thinking " oh he's trying to prove he's straight with his reading material ". It was just strange all around.
