Is Rock Hawk Jayhawk a one season wonder? Well, this former one year wonder willingly hooked up with a producer to land a reality show for herself. She didn't think her celebrity boyfriend would find out. Apparently though, she accidentally sent a selfie of herself in the hotel room where it happened and the s**t hit the fan so to speak. Now, no more relationship.
Could it be a former Ms USA from Kansas University. Ms USA is an annual pageant right? And that's a KU slogan...

Is this about her? Did she get a reality show? Did she end up marrying the football player? I’m off to the google to see if I can’t figure this out.

ReplyDeleteFrufra: I think you’re talking about Alabama QB AJ McCarron and his model girlfriend. They did get married and as far as I know still are. No reality TV shows or antying that I’m aware of. He was a back up with the Cincy Bengals and just signed with the Buffalo Bils, where he’ll be the starter next season.

DeleteHer name is Katherine Webb. And after reading her wiki, I don’t think this is her. She did marry AJ McCarron, and had a child with him, and hasn’t done anything of note professionally since 2013. But I stand by my assessment of Brent Musburger as a lecherous old man, and I continue to be thankful he has retired.

ReplyDeleteand KU is certainly not a one season wonder. they've been in the top tier for a long time, won the tourney in 2008.
I totally get the tradition, and I like Kansas. But I find the chant annoying. As do I find the tomahawk chop Atlanta Braves bit super annoying. What can I say? I’m 46 years old and cranky! That’s why I stay home and watch the game on TV and complain to my equally cranky husband. It’s a perfect system!!

ReplyDeleteIn 1886 an Chemistry professor was discussing with other teachers a need for a 'rousing yell'. They started with 'Rah Rah Jayhawk Go KU' 3 times in a row. In 1889 they changed it to 'Rock Chalk' as the university sits on Chalk Rock (a type of limestone)
