This permanent A list singer/diva had a recent photo shoot airbrushed to within a centimeter of reality. She picked the pictures used and kept sending them back to be retouched more. Never in the history of the magazine have they retouched photos more than these.
Mimi
ReplyDeleteMiMi?
ReplyDeleteMadge did a recent photo shoot but so did Mimi, I'll take Madge.
ReplyDeleteMimi of course
ReplyDeleteJlow? Ahhh what the heck, all of them.
ReplyDeleteFirst thought was Mariah but I have to admit I have seen a lot of unshopped photos of jlo recently and u was very surprised. Not that she looks bad or anything wrong with her....but just very different and was surprised
ReplyDeleteEnty seems on a bash-Madonna kick - so I'm going with her.
ReplyDeleteClassic Mariah behavior
ReplyDeleteAny and all. Vanity thy name is DIVA...but wouldn't they all be A+ or Perm A? I'll go with my favorite Diva Barbra Streisand with her cloned pooches...what is more DIVA than cloning your dog. Wish I had the $$ to bring my Mrs Mootsie back!
ReplyDeleteI think Streisand would be A+ wouldn't she? And also listed as a dual, or more, threat? Sounds like Streisand though.
ReplyDeleteCurrently, since she got rejected by younger males, I'll still go with everyone's popular choice, Ma-acceptyourage-donna
Madge and Kim Kardashian.
ReplyDeleteGaga
ReplyDeleteStreisand Cloned dog article
ReplyDeleteMariah!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5473657/Mariah-Carey-shows-bodacious-fishnet-bodysuit.html
She’s just being Mimi......
ReplyDeleteSo what! Let Mimi be as airbrushed as her heart desires.
ReplyDeleteStreisand looked really weird in her photoshoot. Freakishly weird
ReplyDeleteNot saying this is the answer, bc Enty would reference her many hats and legendary status. Just commenting on the weird photos of Babs.
DeleteI think I read that babs recently had a photo of her two cloned dogs replaced with a photo of her face from earlier times.
ReplyDeleteI think we'd all like to have some photos airbrushed but that does sound excessive.
ReplyDeleteBabs spent $50,000 or more to clone her dogs. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of healthy dogs and cats are euthanized. Many are purebreds. I had two purebred Akitas from shelters, people used to ask me if they were show dogs. Both acted like they knew me all their life the minute they saw me. I wouldn't clone them, I prefer to think of them as one of a kind. Changing my guess to her,it's true even if it wasn't Meant to be.
ReplyDeletenever really gave much thought about cloning but isn't what makes a dog your dog,is its life experience? certainly you could duplicate the markings and look but does cloning duplicate it's exact same personality?
ReplyDeletehas to be la streisand. i thought of her the minute i read this because of the dog story.
ReplyDeletehow is this anyone but mimi (mariah carey)
ReplyDeleteooooo wait, I change my mind, Barbara Streisand!!!
ReplyDeleteCould be Streisand or Madonna, but not Mimi - she would have gone beyond reality.
ReplyDeletedef Babs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a freakshow!
J.lo
ReplyDeleteoh you have no idea. This is what i used to do ( photo retouching / manipulation ) Nothing going on today is half as bad as in the 90s when the trade was required to make people look like skeletal horrors.
ReplyDeleteStreisand
ReplyDeleteStreisand and those photos with her dog. Shamelessly retuoched.
ReplyDeletehow come people call madonna madge? i've always kinda wondered. like was there any notable first usage of that nickname, or no
ReplyDeleteMadge is short for "Your Majesty", a nickname she got from the British press when she moved to England, married a Brit (Guy Ritchie), bought a manor house and started using a British accent.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I think the blind is about Mariah Carey. Madonna is certainly bitchy, demanding and high maintenance, but if you look up the word "diva" in the dictionary you'll find a picture of Mariah Carey.
ReplyDeleteCentimeter, eh? Look at ENTY getting all metric!
ReplyDeleteSounds like Madge to me. But the other guesses are all possible too.
ReplyDeleteomg thank you mango! i have been wondering that for years
ReplyDeleteMadonna. There's only so much plastic surgery one can get before a plastic bag is needed and she's gone over the edge with that.
ReplyDeleteI'd eat ice cream out of Mariah's ass, even when she is a blimp.
ReplyDeleteCan't stand her music I'm more of a metalhead, but I'd hit that in a hot second.
I’m sure they all do this, but Mimi is notorious.
ReplyDelete@lucy: Actually, cloned dogs will have similar but different markings due to natural epigenetic factors.
ReplyDeleteMadonna manufactured the whole Madge' thing herself. Its a common short form of many names, such as Marjory and Margaret ( although for the latter Peg or Peggy is more common)
ReplyDeleteMadge is not a short for for 'your majesty' that's bollocks. Whilst some Cockney Londoners might sometimes say "her maj" when referring to the Queen it's just simply local colloquialism.
Madonna and her people learned of the name Madge in the UK ( it's a common name from the 40's and 50's, my neighbour was a Madge. ) And one of the names they learned it was short for is Madeline. Which is the modern spelling for the name Magdalene/a. So year, virgin mother and all that. it was just a big PR stunt that the UK press picked up on and went with whilst she was relevant over here.
Actually she was being called Madge long before she married him, "Smash hits Magazine" came up with that nickname , they use to give all the stars nicknames, Why they chose Madge they never said, I'd assume because its sorta an old lady name so they probably thought that was funny to call her that
ReplyDeleteAs to the blind I'll go with Mariah for this
a little side note: I believe "smash hits" gave the spice girls their nicknames too
i'm going with Babs on this one. :)
ReplyDeleteIf only Elon had launched Madge up in that thing... oh wait, that was totally fake too.
ReplyDeleteThere is no evidence that Smash Hits magazine coined the name Madge for Madonna. And I bought most of them from 1978 onward. That's just something some random said on a quora post.
ReplyDeleteAs for the spice girls? Their names came from Jennifer Cawthron at the insistence of her editor Peter Loraine. It was for "top of the pops" magazine ( a short lived print mag fpr a long running pop chart show in the uk ) Although if you speak to either of them they happily both claim sole credit.
I understand wanting to airbrush acne or a hair that is out of place, but really, I do not understand people that do enormous amounts of retouching. I have a cousin who is absolutely beautiful, but she always uses photo filters. ALWAYS. It's so freaking annoying.
ReplyDeleteLove her or hate her, IMO Streisand will always be A ++ for her singing.
ReplyDeleteActually the nickname madge comes from a character on an Australian soap called neighbours that was popular in the UK just before madonna moved there. Typical brit humour.
ReplyDeleteAgain. The name Madge, as a christian given name has been in use from the 19th century and has nothing to do with popular media.
ReplyDeletethanks @papaya. makes me even more curious because if she isn't duplicating the look then her goal is personality and that is a rather intriguing in everything against nature mad scientist kind of way. I'm going to put that on look up list along with Jeremy piven of last blind, I know the name but I can't picture him and I want to read of his drama for reasons unknown really, one of them nights I guess :/
ReplyDeleteincidentally I caught an interview with madonna and wtf. I found it peculiar in recent blind she couldn't get any takers but oh my gosh , I question nothing. she needs to ditch that 007 jaws grill. that is so unsightly and screams painful trap. holy hell that is absolutely awful and what's worse she can't even talk with it. why?
@lucy - of course cloning change the dog's personality; sometimes it's like nobody read or watched Pet Cemetery,
