ReplyDeleteIt's ok. Kobe is really famous, and when you're famous they let you do anything. Someone said that once and it looks like the Academy agrees.
ReplyDeleteActually no Sal, the accusations against Kobe have been deemed as a money grab and is,a hook up gone wrong. That's why no charges were brought against him. I personally do not think it was rape. Sorry

My God the guy has never had anything said about him even remotely close to this, yet one accusation by one person is supposed to have the effect of completely ostracizing this man from every single person there? And if you don't jump on the bandwagon, then you yourself are an "enabler?"
ReplyDeleteHow about we let the case play itself out huh? Make your own judgments sure. But let others make their own as well without shaming them for "enabling" a friend and colleague.
Can you imagine being at your job for years and years and have one person make one (false) accusation against you and all of your friends and colleagues completely ghost you? That's it? That's all it takes now? Me too movement is like a zero tolerance policy. Great on paper. Horrible in practice.

I’ve long disliked Seacrest for his super-plastic presentation and utter hollowness, but this case hasn’t yet been settled and it’s one accuser. It could go either way. I really don’t care which.
@Ice Angel I agree with you about the Seacrest case - and I am not a Seacrest fan at all. I find him oleaginous. But one unexamined accusation is not a proven case.

I thought she looked fantastic, still managed a touch of figure-hugging.
I think I had Eliza's dress back in the 80s...but it was in hot pink.

Thanks Honeyrider, I'll check it out. During the allegations, the national enquirer printed a story of how the victim and her BF were planning a shake down of Kobe . It was tape recorded by a friend and her credibility went out the window. When your rich, u need to be real careful.

DeleteI agree with Ice Angel. I'm completely disgusted by the shunning of Seacrest. Everyone does know that she demanded to be paid off before she went public with any of this right?? Seacrest is known to be an extremely nice person in real life, as aloof as he may seem. I don't believe this ONE accuser for a second. He didn't deserve to be treated that way on the red carpet yesterday and everyone who avoided him should be ashamed of themselves. Good for Kelly for sticking up for her friend. And Kudos to the few stars who did agree to be interviewed by him yesterday. At least they have spines. Unlike you, apparently, Enty.

Maya is adorable she can wear whatever the hell she wants! look at her cutie face I LOVE her! she, along with Tiffany, saved that broadcast. was all morning radio was talking about around here.

ReplyDeleteChristine Lahti was also smoking hot in her party frock. Both of these ladies are showing it how it's done and getting better every year doing it! Gonzalez got it right on her first shot, so here's hoping she shows up for more. That gown was a risk, and I'm not sure about the color, but she pulls it off with great style. Someone will poach her stylist if she's not careful
