This is going back years but Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. That was really surprising and he turned so cold overnight. It's the same sudden, vicious coldness that Angelina Jolie displayed toward Brad Pitt. Icebergs don't have anything on Tom and Angelina.
Of course, I've never liked Angelina. She's always been a home-wrecker and never thinks about anyone except herself.
Yeah... the Brange ending, or rather, the way Angelina was so cold about it was shocking.
Given how supportive he was of her during her health scares and she couldn't even pretend to worry about his excessive drinking... it makes me think she would've continued with the facade if he hadn't clowned on the plane. What an empty existence for him, in between the red carpet appearances centering around her dismal directing and screenwriting pursuits...
Ha! None of them! Seems like no marriages in LaLa Land ever work out. I knew Brad & Angie wouldn't work since it began with them cheating...never does!
I agreed with @Pilot Gal--Tom and Nicole's split did seem to come out of the blue, though it was, as it turned out, perfectly times. (Weren't they married for just under 10 years, which was important in their pre-nuptial agreement?)
Brad Pitt & Jennifer Anniston or Anna Faris & Chris Pratt. Also kind of Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, although in hindsight it seems like she really dodged a bullet.
Tom and Nicole surprised me, i wasn't aware of the power of scientology, otherwise, none really. Surprised for Brad and ANgie - nope, Anna and Chris, nope, just learned about Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor - that's news to me
Johnny depp lost me as a fan when he married amber heard and it was so obvious how it would end, so while the ending did not shock me, I was still glued to the play by play and all the gory details....from beginning to end all you heard from me while i was reading was 'what-an-idiot!' what an idiot!this guys a fuckin idiot! Lol I did think jlo and marc were a perfect match and still think they should try to work things out...ya i know.
Maybe because it goes back to way before the internet, but I was completely blindsided by Burt and Loni! And yes @Lisa-Piggy and Kermie was still a big shock. But I think they are going to get back together.
I agree with the ones that said Miss Piggy and Kermit.
Although I did "benefit" from it. Piggy went on Kimmel and he suggested she go on "Bachelorette".
That inspired me to start a Twitter series called "Superhero Bachelorette" where Marvel and DC characters start cliques in the Bachelorette Mansion and Thor and Doctor Strange are runner-up/winner and it prompts the next Civil War. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't care if I'm the only one who laughs at my own jokes. 🗽👩🏻🚕🍂💛
It's a waste of time telling a hair raising story to a bald man.
ReplyDeleteAnna Faris and the dude from Parks
ReplyDeleteRoseanne Barr & Tom Arnold. That was the day i knew that Happily Ever After was a pipe dream.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading this website, no split is all that shocking anymore. Maybe Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins?
ReplyDeleteCatherine Zeta Jones dumping Michael Douglas for his 100+ year old dad.
ReplyDeleteSharon Stone's legs in Basic Instinct.
ReplyDeleteAngie and Brad.

For me it was Brange. Just because they had so much invested. That's a lot of kids to have if you're not sure.

ReplyDeleteBrad and Angie, more because of how it happened than that it happened.

ReplyDeleteI was not shocked with Brad and Angie, i was with Arnold and Maria. I think that entire situation really made my jaw drop.
ReplyDeleteSplits...never. Now if you're talking pairings we can have a conversation.
ReplyDeleteAnne Heche's mind...the shit that came outta her mouth when she went nuts is legendary.
ReplyDeleteThe Beatles, Black Sabbath and Ozzy, Ghost...and Spice Girls.
ReplyDeletePrincess Di and Prince Charles.
ReplyDeleteSonny and Cher
ReplyDeleteWhen Johnny Depp left Tim Burton.
ReplyDeleteI was worried Bert and Ernie were rocky there for a while but they pulled through. So apart from the Spice Girls, none.

ReplyDeleteBeing a reader here, nothing is shocking. But back in the day, Emma and Kenneth. :(
ReplyDeleteI've gotta admit, Brad and Angie surprised me. I really thought they were good together.
ReplyDeleteTom and Nicole surprised me, i wasn't aware of the power of scientology, otherwise, none really. Surprised for Brad and ANgie - nope, Anna and Chris, nope, just learned about Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor - that's news to me
ReplyDeleteHugh and Elizabeth (showing my age)
ReplyDeleteBrad and Angie. I thought they'd stay together forever because of the kids.

ReplyDeleteBrad & Angie

ReplyDeleteNever mind the celebrity splits: this site has more cookies than a bakery.
ReplyDeleteGwen and Gavin surprised me. So did Demi and Bruce
ReplyDeleteEmma and Kenneth or Chris and Anna take the top spots for me.
ReplyDeleteSeal and Heidi Klum was sad -- so many kids and they seemed so in love.
ReplyDeleteBrange. Not much gossip before it happened
ReplyDeleteAniston and Pitt followed by Jolie and Pitt
ReplyDeleteMaybe because it goes back to way before the internet, but I was completely blindsided by Burt and Loni! And yes @Lisa-Piggy and Kermie was still a big shock. But I think they are going to get back together.
ReplyDeleteGoop and Chris, those wet farts were perfect for each other.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the ones that said Miss Piggy and Kermit.
