This recent A list rapper I wrote about before ignored a bunch of the Make A Wish children at the Grammy Awards. Just blew right past them. As soon as reporters started buzzing about it, her publicist ran to get her and made her come back outside even though the rapper didn't want to.

I am more concerned that a bunch of Make a Wish Children look up to her ratchet @$$.

DeleteI appreciated her for Bodak Yellow, and her getting features on other's hot tracks. But, like cc423 mentioned, her comments were ridiculously stupid. Not ignorant, she's been around enough gay people to know what queer meant, just intentionally paying dumb. If she had started with the educate me part as an opening to conversation, instead of using it as a defense after her BS comments, she would have scored big in my book. Unfortunately, her smart (no sarcasm) attention grabbing abilities do not include common sense.

ReplyDeleteI don't blame her. She knows that nobody is going to remember her name by the end of the year, so she needs to soak up that attention while it's still being directed her way. She can always meet the Make A Wish kids who have her 5th on their list next year. Not these kids, since they'll be dead, but the next batch.
