Blind Item #6

This Northern California retreat is moving into the full-time retreat business at a compound not far from their legendary space. The compound has filed paperwork to create their own university. There won't be any classes or classrooms or teachers. It is all a shell game which will be given a wink and a nod and approved. This will allow them to "apply" (they will get them) for 50 visas under what was explained to me as a university affiliation cap exemption. I find it remarkable that this program which is designed for teachers is going to consist of four dozen men between the ages of 18-21 who will be the year round playmates of the rich and powerful.

    1. I bet it is.... but I somehow have always confused BG with the legendary spot in LA (where they all swung in the Golden Age).
      Wow-Sonoma ain’t such a sleepy hamlet eh?
Beautiful place, now unfortunately not the same for me:(

  12. Bohemian Grove, for sure.

  13. It isn't this but it sounds like The China City of America that's has been trying to get contracts up in Sullivan County NY. These plans were strange and sounds similar to what's going on in CA.

  14. Who actually "owns" BG or Bohemian Club? I can't even find who is listed as property owner at either address. The only other name associated with them is West Valley Arborsits (how they spelled it, not me), which leads to nothing.
I'm trying to figure out how to find who filed paperwork for a new University in California (I assume, though it could be a different state)

  15. Meh. All seems perfectly legal and all concerned are adults. No story here.

  19. Brilliant! I now have to rethink my plans for when i hit the powerball lottery. I envision a 50 room dormitory filled w/ a rainbow of foreign vagina. Elite can slide their credit card in the door lock to enyer & start the meter.

  20. I'm from Sonoma County. Many friends worked there when we were teens in the mid-late 90's. Those of us from that area spend MANY summer days at the Russian River near Guerneville. Only two real ways to get between major city (Santa Rosa) and that area of the river.

I can't remember if the Grove is in Monte Rio or Rio Nido (super tiny hamlets that butte up against Guerneville). The Grove has it's own private airport. You literally never see attendees in the small towns that are just a mile or so down River Road and/or 116.

Workers all sign a NDA of sorts. And they strictly oblige.

    1. I live in SR and my husband knew people who worked there last summer. I was amazed they were allowed because these people, while not violent, all had multiple misdemeanors and colorful backgrounds. Although one was kicked out for trying to take programs and memorabilia lol

  22. just google Bohemian Grove or Bohemian Club and you'll find tons of pages, varying from happy reviews to the craziest of conspiracies (I assume. I had a black pill blocker added to my PC to prevent me from going to far down rabbit holes).
You can also find listings a the other similar but not as urban legendy as BG (I see that spellcheck underline under legendy, but it's a damn word)

  27. when the weinstein scandal first hit, the most hopeful blind ever was posted by enty. I hoped and just thought, maybe, just maybe, this blind will come true. I sincerely lose hope every time Enty posts about the crazy hoops & manipulations they do just to cover their asses indefinitely.

"After the Harvey Weinstein scandal , I have head that there are several big news outlets that are prepared to expose three other Hollywood honchos: that kid show producer, that openly gay director who escaped charges in the past and the biggest one of all: that billionaire mogul who has had buildings named after him. I don't know when these accusations will start appearing in rapid succession, or if they will appear at all, but after the Weinstein fracas it will probably be sooner than later."

  30. It can't be Esalen because that is an educational retreat filled with classes and classrooms. The blind said there would be no classes at all. Bohemian Grove is made up of politicians, so it would be easy to rubberstamp this sot of thing.

@dummypants Alex Jones infiltrated Bohemian Grove in the 90s and the video is up on youtube, it's as funny / crazy as it sounds.

  31. Bohemian Grove certainly is a “retreat”. As a matter of fact that’s what they call it. And it’s not just Republicans or Gay Republicans that have been reported to “retreat” there. It’s industry titans, politicians of all stripes and other very rich folks, mainly men from what i gather.

  33. Conspiracy said what? Not buying this at all. This is like the same Illuminati, Bohemian Grove, Council on Foreign Relations, excetera that keeps getting repeated over and over.

  34. @Don

The tradition of a summer encampment was established six years after the Bohemian Club was formed in 1872.[2] Henry "Harry" Edwards, a stage actor and founding member, announced that he was relocating to New York City to further his career. On June 29, 1878, somewhat fewer than 100 Bohemians gathered in the Redwoods in Marin County near Taylorville (present-day Samuel P. Taylor State Park) for an evening sendoff party in Edwards' honor.[16] Freely flowing liquor and some Japanese lanterns put a glow on the festivities, and club members retired at a late hour to the modest comfort of blankets laid on the dense mat of Redwood needles. This festive gathering was repeated the next year without Edwards, and became the club's yearly encampment.[17] By 1882 the members of the Club camped together at various locations in both Marin and Sonoma County, including the present-day Muir Woods and a redwood grove that once stood near Duncans Mills, several miles down the Russian River from the current location. From 1893 Bohemians rented the current location, and in 1899 purchased it from Melvin Cyrus Meeker who had developed a successful logging operation in the area.[2] Gradually over the next decades, members of the Club purchased land surrounding the original location to the perimeter of the basin in which it resides.[2]

Writer and journalist William Henry Irwin said of the Grove,

You come upon it suddenly. One step and its glory is over you. There is no perspective; you cannot get far enough away from one of the trees to see it as a whole. There they stand, a world of height above you, their pinnacles hidden by their topmost fringes of branches or lost in the sky.[18]

Not long after the Club's establishment by newspaper journalists, it was commandeered by prominent San Francisco-based businessmen, who provided the financial resources necessary to acquire further land and facilities at the Grove. However, they still retained the "bohemians"—the artists and musicians—who continued to entertain international members and guests.[2]

  36. BG is a honeypot for rich folk. they go their thinking they'll be getting their depravity on in private, but everything is being recorded just in case they need extra convincing about certain things.

    1. I'll just say that while I don't know anyone involved in any way with BG at this point, my very good friend who worked there in the late 90's when I was around 18 and he was 17... he grew up in a VERY bizarre "Christian" cult in Sonoma County. He is one of 2 good friends who did. This cult (I don't think it was Children of God but I can't remember the name) practiced BIZARRE takes on scripture. Married couples were ALL reassigned to different partners at the behest of the leader and both of my friends (the guy who worked at BG and a female friend) were placed in different families than their biological parents (parents were also split and married to others). Both of my friends were routinely molested as children.

So... how does this relate? I don't know that it does except when my male friend worked at BG he mentioned there were a couple other "family members" (cult-speak for other former kids in their religion) employed there.

I really don't know what that may point to but it's pretty effin weird to me. There aren't thousands of employees there - I think less than 100.

  38. @jw11 it’s a men’s only club. I guess (?) there is an all female version called the belizean grove? I know little about it.

So, is this one believable old timers ?If this one is believable, do we believe the testimony of Paul Bonacci about what happened to him there from the Franklin Files?

Who took Johnny Gosch? (btw it’s a documentary on netflix)

    1. I am all over the Johnny Gosch. Messed up. And after delving into Johnny Gosch, the Franklin conspiracy and Paul Bonacci, come back here and all of these recent stories enty is spilling don’t seem nuts at all. Like, not at all...

    2. Actually, sometimes all this stuff can be really overwhelming. The Gosch stuff, Geffen, An Open Secret... but I’m all for it coming out into the light because the darkness of it is what allows it. Creepy AF tho.

  39. Bohemian Grove is weird/creepy/gross for sure, but it doesn't really fit with this blind aside from location. Esalen makes more sense.

  42. reality is that the Bohemian Grove is actually teetering in the edge of financial collapse as they can barely afford to pay their employees.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @beebopcowboy, maybe the three honchos mentioned in that blind got the message and wrote some large checks to the media outlets preparing the articles. Maybe that's why they leaked the news that they were working on those exposes in the first place.

I still have hope, but not based on large media outlets ever breaking anything without being forced into it. That won't happen. They won't cover these stories until someone else breaks them, or it's clear that the story is coming out with or without their help.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Not Esalen, which has not as a non profit recently or ever swapped hands. However much interface they may have historically had with Russian spies, shady mind controling para-physcologists, dolphin training ketamie addicts, believers in The Nine and other sundry they currently have a very, very lucrative venue that currently caters to dot.com $$$$$. The core property owning families still are the property owners and believe me it's set up so openly with so many people who have lived on the property for eons, and other coming and going this plainly would never fly there. Way to exposed.

I'll be it's someplace closer to an airport, at the very least a small one that can handle private jet traffic.
