Blind Item #4

This foreign born B+ list dual threat actor from an acting family was sharing stories with a group of people at a bar this past weekend. Suddenly, he tells a story about when he was a kid and killed a cat and it was like everything stopped. Lock your doors when he comes around. Possible future serial killer.

"possible future serial killer" is an incredibly offensive term, you get your point across without it. Please leave the distasteful comments to count chocula

    1. How is "possible future serial killer" an offensive term the way it is used in the BI? It should be "probable future serial killer."

    2. Um almost all serial killers and sociopaths have killed animals as children. it’s actually a question asked a psychosocial assessments.

      Also, read a psych textbook.

  4. @none, actually it's incredibly offensive 1. to kill animals for no reason, b. talk about it like it's no big deal, and 3. have some anon get all offended by someone being called out on it.

Glad you're outraged by what really matters.

  5. @jim. Agreed. If a person can hurt and animal they most certainly can hurt a child or adult.

  6. We need to figure out who this is and keep an eye on them.

  7. I have always had a creeped out feeling about Kiefer. I don't like to watch him. This would explain my gut feeling.

  11. Surely Keifer is higher than B+

  12. Joseph Fiennes makes more sense for this, based on the rating, description, and other rumors we've heard about him.

  13. I don't think it is Kiefer, considering his drunken behaviour has been well documented, nothing would indicate something like this. I also think younger, but I don't have a guess yet.

If y'all don't realize why the psychological condition of a child should be left off limits, then maybe you should have your own fucking head examined cuz you probably have fucking shit for brains. The dispatch is purposefully ambiguous about whether it is in reference to a minor. I'm saying, and I strongly feel, that a child's psychological condition should be left off-limits from gawking and the public rumor mill.

    1. You sound like a fucking idiot.... the item was about an adult (hanging out in a bar usually means at least 21). I strongly feel that people with limited intelligence should share their moral outrage a bit more sparingly.

    2. Clutch Yo Pearls and HideYo children!

Except... this group of friends were all in a bar... So.. Not a child?
      At least, I don't think they'd let a child in a bar?

I missed yesterdays question marks so is it OK to get them in today?

    3. Not a child, weirdo. Move along.

    4. Come now.... it's time to take your meds.

  16. Not sure how you could make it worse, but you managed to. BI says it took place in a bar, and talks about when he WAS a kid. Clearly your brain might be a little addled by something here (judging by your over the top reaction to something so clearly wrong). Stop projecting it off on the rest of us.

Most people don't jump to the defense of animal killers. Weird. But you do you!

  17. I'd believe Joseph Fiennes before Keifer for this.
Idk "future serial killer" just strikes me as younger or newer anyway. Probably neither.

There are so many people that could fit the description.

  19. 'he tells a story about when he was a kid and killed a cat"

It say's "was" a kid so that would indicate he is an adult

I'm gonna guess Alexander Skarsgård for this

  20. Kiefer Sutherland is A list.

  21. How did he kill the cat? It makes a difference in how to assess. Running cat over with the car by mistake is not future serial killer material. Strangling it and skinning it to wear to school is. Blind lacks key details but everyone wants to assume the worst.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm pretty sure if he was telling a story about killing a cat as a kid, it involved more than accidentally running it over, especially if it brought the whole room to a standstill.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm with @J on the Marvin Gaye blind that accuses him of killing women. In fact, it puts a whole new slant on the fact that his own father shot him during an argument back in 1984.

I wonder if that's what they were really arguing about.

    1. Man, I really hope not.
I have a lot of Marvin Gay in my music library.

I do accept that it’s not unlikely.

      Delete
    2. Marvin was coked out and Mr Gaye got mad at Moms. He started to man handle her and Marvin laid hands on him. Dad got the gun and shot him. He was not capable of killing women because he was not slick enough like most serial killers. Grim Reaper, henry Lucas and BTK were sick MF. Marvin' s older wife kept him in line and when they divorced, he started using. The black community looks at this rumor as trying to Tear down another ICON and I agree.

    3. I tend to agree. The facts don’t line up. Persistent rumors like this must be awful for the families.

  25. there are many instances of people who start out killing animals, then work their way to humans, so enty wasn't wrong for saying whoever this is is a possible future serial killer.

  26. Eh, the item was actually about a story that happened when the storyteller was a kid.

  28. @rosie, the guy was telling a story about how when he was a kid, he killed a cat.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Do Tell - she was responding to my joke upthread.

    ReplyDelete
  30. From the blind "when he was a kid". When is past tense, meaning the person is no longer a kid, but an adult. Learn to read basic English before you have a fit over something that was written.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks, @Max, without tags, I can't tell who is being responded to, or if they are independent posts.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'd have to hear the story. I killed a cat once when I was a kid. We were playing baseball and I swung at a low pitch, and a cat darted in the way. Felt sick about it for a long time. If he did it just for fun and was joking or bragging about it, that's different, but this doesn't say.

    ReplyDelete
  33. If Enty's fully up on his psychology, his description makes this a young man. Old enough to drink and refer to himself as a former kid. Serial killers are generally 27.5-yrs-old when they begin to kill. So I'd guess a man in his 20's to early 30's.

    ReplyDelete
  34. A child that kills a cat or another mammal(not accidentally, but 'for fun') should be locked away forever and the parents should be made to pay for it.

I you're physically capable of killing a cat, you're old enough to know it's wrong. No excuses. If you don't know it's wrong or don't care, you're a sociopath in the making. You can't cure these people. Just protect society and get that filth off the streets, the sooner the better.

  35. Marvin Gaye AND Jimmy Page. Who kills cats? The thought makes me sick.

  36. My first thought was Bill Skarsgard.

  37. @J

The Marvin Gaye blind was less than tight, shall we say. It was a strangely worded BI where the connection between all the alleged murders was not established and seemed deliberately ambiguous. It boiled down to a possible serial killer in a Midwestern city where Marvin didn't live at the time (he was in the Army) and a later killing by decades that might have been connected to Marvin, who the hell knows. The blind was too screwy to take that seriously.

On that blind, though, an African American poster wrote a great piece on the dynamics of AA families and why Marven might have been killed by his father according to social compacts inside the AA community. Wish I could find that BI again because I wanted to 'thumbs up" that poster. Beautifully written post.

  38. Seems like he would still have to be relatively young or else he'd be a current serial killer, right?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Dear Enty;
As a certified member of Serial Killers Anonymous, I take offense to your characterization of us as heartless beast committing random felinticide and animal abuse. The cultural appropriation and "sanewashing" of characters in the media is bad enough, (shouldn't Dexter have been played by a true serial killer rather than that douchebag?) but this simply adds to the ignorance and misunderstanding of our neuro-atypical lifestyles.
In the future, please refer to us as highly-focused population control officers.

    Respectfully,
    Ed Gein

    ReplyDelete
  43. The BI itself is very cagey about what murder is Marvin's and the posters on the original board made a really good case that Marven couldn't have committed the first series of murders.

Marvin very well may have killed a woman or more than one. But the BI itself doesn't really connect all the murders together under one murderer, only suggests it.

As you know, just sayin', I'm a stickler. ;P

  45. I was going to say Alfie Allen b/c he's just kind of creepy looking, but then I saw that he took his tiny dog to a comic con, so I don't think he'd kill a cat.

    ReplyDelete
  46. No problem, Plot! Being a stickler's always better than being reckless with the truth. And blind "revealed" can mean that the rumored subject is being revealed rather than he/she's been proven guilty, in cases where there's been no trial.
