Blind Item #1

This permanent A list mostly television actor who everyone knows is a truly awful human being off camera had to settle a complaint by a guest on a game show that he groped her and kept trying to get to come to a private area on set. He said he would make sure she won if she would have sex with him.

  1. Alec Baldwin is as awful as they come.

  2. Alec Baldwin mistreats others, loses his temper often, threatens others with violence (and is violent) and he always seems to get a pass. The guy is as nasty as they come.

  3. Alec Baldwin dies a little bit everytime he’s called a mostlu television actor and I LOVE it.

  4. Alec may have his issues with anger, but he is no groper. He is also not mostly TV.
I find Steve Harvey to be a phoney.

  5. Steve Harvey is best known as show host and comedian, not an actor. Alec Baldwin fits best, although it is possible it isn't the game show's host.

  7. I'm still in shock that ABC is giving Baldwin a weekly talk show, after 1) the MSNBC fiasco, 2) his defense of a lot of the people that #metoo have risen up against, 3) his overall ickiness.

  8. Baldwin was a tv game show host?

Oh boy, I am keeping that one! Blue Steel for the Teen Beat crowd.

    @CeeCee
Yes, he hosts the Match Game reboot

  10. Thanks @Sara. Can't say I'm a fan of game shows - I don't hate them but I don't look for them either - so I had no idea.

  11. Wow #MeToo is really making a difference.

  12. I worked on "The Good Shepard" as a PA back in the day. It was my first job out of college and I loved every min being on set. Sometimes from 430AM-midnight. It was a LONG shoot. I was facsinated with the filming process and took every opportunity to speak to and learn from whoever would chat on set. I was mostly star struck by the crew talent. Written by Eric Roth, Edited by tariq Anwar....steady cam was Larry McConkey! Any one who has seen Goodfellas knows what im talking about....Anyway, I digress. Most of the cast was super nice as well, William Hurt, Matt Damon even frickin joe pesci was a fun to be around on his few days on set. Then there was Alec Balwin. As far as the cast goes, Im willing to say he was actually the most humble and VERY respectful to everyone on set, PAs included. He didnt hang out in a trailer between takes and set ups. Ate lunch everyday with the crew, chatted. Tossed a football around with many of us most days and was generally a pleasure to be around. Just my take for what its worth.

    2. Or maybe because they are human they have good days and bad days. Jesus must everything nowadays be overstated. No really...

  13. People marry Hilaria...

  14. Would Steve Harvey be considered permanent A list? These ratings throw me off. When one called Gillian Anderson C+ I realized I'll never be on the same wave length as whoever writes these.

  15. Hilaria is badgering him right out of the bedroom.

  16. This could be a blind about Richard Dawson, TBH....

  17. Richard Dawson is dead. The blind indicates the person is living.

  18. I second the astonishment over ABC giving Baldwin a talk show.

  19. So the fact that the woman settled--she "won" after all !
    She had 3 choices:

    1. Win Legitimately

    2. Sell her Body to Baldwin for a "win"

    3. Get a settlement out of Baldwin for a "win". Of course she could throw a crimp into his pattern of abuse and take a stand by actually fighting back, but no, everybody has their price !

  20. @JDUB

You confirm everything I've heard about Baldwin for years now. Crews love him. Fellow actors adore him (even if he argues with them loudly.) He is as professional as any actor on sets, never late, never demanding specials, always knows his lines and ready to do his job.

Alec has anger issues, there is no denying that, in moments of frustration. Still, he never demands special treatment because he's *ALEC BALDWIN* which counts for a lot in my book.

  21. Alec The Asshole Baldwin.

  22. Not Howie Mandel I hope since he has a germ phobia. Met him in a hair salon back in the ‘80’s and he was nice as could be.

  23. Agree with JDUB and omg with plot lol. Alec Baldwin doesn’t strike me as a grower, no how no way.

@JDUB and @plot Yep. Once saw someone who should have known better asking to confirm his ID... A recipe for disaster with most of his peers. He was thrilled, laughed and declared his hat was working. He’d be able to go for a walk in peace. Complex man no doubt, but generally, very pleasant and down to earth.

  26. A friend of mine is an actress and was groped by Baldwin when she met him a few years ago.

  27. Baldwin has extreme mood swings, his temper and behavior changes on a dime. Maybe he doesn't take his meds,or maybe he is drinking when the bad behaviour happens. But to claim he is polite and gracious at all times ignores his public bad behavior. Ignore his homophonic a and sexist rants, his insults to his own daughter, because you or someone you know met him on a good day. Do you also give a pass to Mel Gibson, who has similar issues? People love working with him,he is a loyal friend but his outbursts are in the public record.

  28. As a matter of fact, I think Mel Gibson has done his penance.

  29. @JDUB - you are my hero

  30. "GUEST" on a gameshow. Not host. Why are all the guesses hosts? There's a lot of hugging and touching on the newer primetime gameshows, and lots of A list actors you wouldn't expect. Easy to imagine one of them offering to cheat the game in return for sex.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Drew Carey permanent A list - you're dreaming. This is Alec Baldwin and he was in Daily Mail today.

  32. Dang, I wish the worst insult I received from dad when I was a snotty tween was him calling me an ungrateful pig. That would have been pretty funny, actually. How parents live with girls between 11-14 years old, I have no idea. I certainly was no picnic. Parents lose it sometimes.

  33. In what universe is Alec Baldwin "mostly television?" Wouldn't be something like permanent A+ mostly movie academy award winner/nominee? At least "dual threat."

    ReplyDelete
  34. Some would argue that Baldwin's best role was as Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock. He won the Lead Actor in a Comedy Emmy for every year he played the role (7x)

If you haven't seen the show, please do. Pour a drink, fire up the HULU, and get ready for a long, hilarious, wonderful ride.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I've seen the show Plot. That some believe it to be his best role shouldn't negate the decades he's been making movies and been on stage. If we're going to hazard a guess we should get a proper clue.

  36. I know several people have mentioned Drew Carey, but I have heard women who currently work with him say how amazing he is on the price is right. That he treats everyone with the same respect. Sorry but the majority of chubby people are the nicest. Coming from a chubby person, who is letting her skinny side out slowly lol.

  37. This is Richard Dawson no doubt, He had lots of rumors flying around about him being innapropriate
