Yep.I think she honestly crafted a very good @doen home N’awlins “type persona ,but in reality she’s a bit of a -shark in sheeps clothing lol. My dearest ,oldest friend told me as much(she works in industry and is also in the gay community - Ellen is t very well liked
I think that’s indeed why she’s permanent A list. She’s famous for playing Rachel, but she’s far more known for her personal life. She has Brad and Angie to thank for that, really. Lots of people sympathised with her over that and were happy when she finally remarried. Tabloids will be following her everywhere now to find out who she dates next.
Yeah no kidding, Your Crazy Aunt Bertha! I don't bother learning celebrity names but even I know about the Brangelina/Jennifer Aniston thing.
I'm no fameho (and I'd probably regret that level of publicity if that ever happened to me) but when your relationship gets taken away from you like that, I imagine it would make it easier to cope. At least when you know you have so many people supporting you, it's probably less lonely and more bearable than having to deal with being left for another woman all alone. Or have people accept the new couple without ever giving a shit what you're going through.
I'm sure it's humiliating to be pitied so publicly, but it would've been humiliating anyway to be left for someone else. At least the emotional support would be worth it, and having that much support is better than dealing with the humiliation in loneliness.
I guess the media's obsession with her now is her paying the price. But I'm sure the emotional support must've been nice. Imagine an entire country giving you a hug.
I guess the "his" could refer to the B+ list actor/writer.
In that case, the actor is a he that has an ex. And the talk show host never told the actor's ex about the cheating. Even though the talk show host knew all about it.
I could see Kimmel keeping quiet about Theroux's cheating. The Man Show was just a show, but I can see him carrying over some of the misogyny to his real life.
Jimmy Kimmel performed the wedding ceremony of Jen and Justin,I think she always knew he was cheating, but he was embarrassing her lately, and ignoring her on vacation.
Ellen is great, she’s one of my favorites. She’s one of the first celebs to take that great brave step in coming out, and should be held in high esteem by everyone. Everyone has always complained on this site about closeted actors and how ridiculous the bearding is. Folks, she did what all those people cannot do, and is still successful. Her schtick is not fake, maybe it’s just that her sense of humor doesn’t make everyone laugh. And that’s okay, but hardly worthy of derision.
@Maude would that even have needed to be a blind? Sometimes I wonder if I hallucinated what a misogynist Kimmel was “known” to be back then with the way everyone acts about him now.
As for Ellen, she’s not my cup of lesbian tea, and I can’t see myself wanting to socialize with her, but I wish her all the best. I think most comics have a persona they adopt for their performances that varies from who they are off camera. I don’t see it as being fake. I see it as a frequently normal part of being a successful comedian.
Why would this even be Ellen, apart from you just don't like her. Is she connected otherwise with the couple? Because Kimmel makes much more sense, being close friends and all.
And OF COURSE Jen knew. Probably thought marriage would change him.
You know that TV show "Psyche"? The one where a detective pretends to be psychic? The reverse of that is what intuitives have to do when they're trying to help others in a modern world that demands physical/material evidence for everything (doing the "reverse-Psyche" is what I call it).
So when your gut tells you something is off with someone, begin to observe that person more closely and usually you'll begin finding evidence of weirdness here and there and validate your gut instinct. Try it!
Ellen/Jen and Justin
ReplyDeleteI think Ellen’s a phony baloney
DeleteI've never liked Ellen. Her kooky fun shtick has always felt super forced.

Delete*down home/isn’t
DeleteI think Ellen is correct, but the way the blind reads the talk show host is male.
ReplyDeleteAniston is not a permanent A lister unless you are speaking of the tabloid world. That said, yes, clearly this is about her and Justin Theroux.

Don't think it's Ellen.
ReplyDeleteIf you drop out a clause or two, the blind reads like this:
"This talk show host never told his ex who is a permanent A lister."
I think it has to be a dude. The A lister could be a man or woman though.
I take that back.
ReplyDeleteI guess the "his" could refer to the B+ list actor/writer.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jennifer Aniston are friends.
ReplyDeleteKimmel, Sarah Silverman and cheater is Michael Sheen.

DeleteKimmel and Aniston.
ReplyDeleteKimmel is a lowlife.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing funnier than Jimmy Kimmel having positioned himself as the nation's moral compass and the media embracing that risiculousness.
ReplyDeleteπππagree totally
DeleteI am going to have to agree.

ReplyDeleteGiven the state of American politics, Jimmy Kimmel should be the least of your worries Adrian.

ReplyDeleteHis ex means the cheaters now ex.
ReplyDeleteIts Ellen, Justin and Jen.
Wasn't there a blind here about Kimmel being very problematic back in his Man Show days? Or am I hallucinating?
ReplyDelete@Maude would that even have needed to be a blind? Sometimes I wonder if I hallucinated what a misogynist Kimmel was “known” to be back then with the way everyone acts about him now.

Chelsea Handler
ReplyDeleteThis is a good guess!
DeleteThat was my guess. Wasn't there another blind that Jen accused Chelsea of sleeping with Justin, but really she just knew he was sleeping around?
DeleteI'd always wondered if they were even married.
ReplyDeleteIt looked like a fake marriage to me, just one for the tabloids, knee-pad sites, paps, and fans.
Yes Kimmel and Carolla lived it up on that show.
ReplyDelete+1 Chelsea Handler, she would know firsthand.
ReplyDeleteConan for the talk show host and Lisa Kudrow for the ex? Although would she be classed as permanent A lister by Enty?
ReplyDeleteSome racist nutjob from FauxNews.
ReplyDeleteAnd it’s the talk show person’s place, WHY, to tell the significant other???
ReplyDeleteYeah: exactly: nunja
Why would this even be Ellen, apart from you just don't like her. Is she connected otherwise with the couple? Because Kimmel makes much more sense, being close friends and all.

@sara Ellen and Jen, at least used to be, very good friends.
ReplyDeleteDeduction if the blues clues are legit it tho.

I love Psych! Clever writing, and the "suck it" song. Loved the parody movie episodes, Clue, Twin Peaks, etc.
