This former A+ list mostly movie actress has tried to go the television route before. No matter how much money she might need, she can't do it though and bails. This time will be no different. There is no way she can work five days a week and be somewhere at a certain time each day. I think last time, she didn't even make it through one or two days of filming.
Katherine Heigl
ReplyDeleteNot even remotely A+
DeleteI agree. A few years ago she was considered A+ but now I’d class her as B- and that’s being nice.
DeleteShe has been pretty relentless about being on TV and has just joined Suits.
DeleteSharon Stone?
ReplyDeleteCameron Diaz
ReplyDeleteShe does well still from past film grosses-maybe Christina Ricci
DeleteLindsay Lohan?

DeleteAgree
DeleteHalle Berry?
ReplyDeleteMeg Ryan
ReplyDeleteI think Green Tea has it, I was coming back to say Meggie she is doing a TV show for Epix first tv show since As The World Turns I think.
ReplyDelete"be somewhere at a certain time each day"
ReplyDeleteWhat does this phrase allude to?

DeleteI think it just means having to show up to work everyday at a set time. TV had a much more consistent work structure than movies.
DeleteHa! Your explanation makes more sense
DeleteEnty-glish is not my first language :)
Meg
ReplyDeleteGonna guess Jennifer Garner and the new Lena Dunham show.
ReplyDeleteJokes. totally forgot Garner did Alias and other TV. Probably not her
DeleteMeryl Streep with Big Little Lies?
ReplyDeleteGood guess, there was a previously blind that she had been secretly ill.
DeleteOh God. No. They're going to ruin that show with her. Gross.
DeleteI immediately thought Meryl too but 'former A+' threw me.
ReplyDeleteheigel is going to ruin suits.
ReplyDeleteReese Witherspoon
ReplyDeleteAngela Bassett.
ReplyDeleteyour guesses are all over the place LOL
ReplyDeleteI popped in to guess Meg Ryan; I’m not the first though. She started in TV, but her film career is dead and hasn’t done tv in a long time.
ReplyDeleteAngela Bassett is currently starring and is exec producing Fox show 911. It is actually a very good show.
ReplyDeleteAngela Bassett already did multiple AHS seasons so she has proven she shows.
ReplyDeleteCameron Diaz tried TV with the Annie special
ReplyDeleteJulia Roberts?
ReplyDeleteLindsay Lohan
ReplyDeleteWhat’s the story behind the Russian plane crash??
ReplyDeleteGwyneth Paltrow or Barbra Streisand? Both were recently announced for a new Ryan Murphy show.
ReplyDeleteUma Thurman
ReplyDeletekim basinger. anxiety issues.
ReplyDeleteTrekkies will remember that Genevieve Bujold was Captain of ST Voyager for one and a half days (replaced by Kate Mulgrew).
ReplyDelete@Annyoung Bluth -- Thank you, of course that is the most sensible reading.
ReplyDelete@Green Tea -- It seems you and I both were trying to read too much into Enty's opaque communication style. But I appreciate knowing I wasn't the only one to have trouble with that phrase.
Is someone considering putting Lindsay Lohan on tv? She bailed on the reality show oprah gave her years ago.
ReplyDeleteSounds like someone who has never been successful with a TV gig before. If so, that rules out anyone who started, successfully, on TV.
ReplyDeleteMelanie griffith...
ReplyDeleteSecond Halle.
ReplyDeleteI thought Halle Berry but I don't hear about any new show going on? She did have a TV show a science fiction show I heard was good but was too expensive to produce and only lasted two seasons.
ReplyDeleteNot Halle, Angela, Christina, or Katherine. Halle EP'd a show (Extant) and was the star for 2 seasons. Angela is the EP/star of 911 and was on a season or 2 of AHS. Christina has been on multiple tv shows and all were canceled a few episodes in b/c of ratings. Katherine has primarily been doing tv for years & excepting Grey's (which she did for multiple years), all were canceled.
