This A-/B+ list mostly movie actor/better singer/biggest hardware holding who most of you of a certain age know from something other than movies or singing had a pickup line last night at an after party of, "Do you want to blow me here or back at my place?" I would love to say it didn't work, but after about just ten no's, he got a yes for back at his place.

    Dikembe Mutombo, 7'2" NBA player, used to walk into a bar and call out, "Who wants to sex Mutombo?" According to his teammates, anyway; he denies it. And they say it worked.

    That kind of upfront approach can work for non-stars too, but you may have to try it 1000 times, not just 10.
