This permanent A+ list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee had to have his lines read to him via ear piece for his latest movie because he can't memorize even a sentence any longer.
Not sure he’s filming yet his new movie with Kristin Wigg-think it’s in PreProduction. ?He definitely has those issues... but Almos filming The Irishman
According to IMDB, Nicholson hasn't filmed anything since 2010. Maybe Plummer? It's not like he had lots of time, nor does the blind say that it affected the actor's ability.
Given that Al Pacino has been underwhelming audiences on stage recently, I was tempted to say him -- but he appears to be suffering from disinterest, not Alzheimer's.
The way this blind is worded, sounds like the actor is permanently incapable of memorizing lines due to age or disease. Depp's memory issues are self-induced. It has to be Al or Jack. Since Jack doesn't have any known projects, I say Big Al.
De Niro,Pacino,Nicholson and Depp use this technic.De Niro Pacino and Nicholson because they have memory issues and Depp because he is lazy. Brando did it also
Depp hasn't won an Oscar, but he was nominated, at a minimum, twice. Once for "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," & again for "Finding Neverland." I want to say he was nominated for "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," but I can't say for sure w/o checking.
& I think Willis was nominated for Best Actor for "The Sixth Sense."
My ex worked on Meyorwitz Stories with Dustin Hoffman and said he couldn't remember any of his lines and had to have everything fed to him, but, realistically...this blind probably applies to several actors
It's not actually uncommon for actors with memory issues to use ear pieces. It's nothing to do with being "lazy." Whether the actor reads the line from a script, a card (Joan Crawford, in her later years, was known to do this from time to time) or said to them via ear piece, the actor is still acting. My guess would be Johnny Depp who, sadly, has become an alcoholic in recent years, which will cause memory issues. It's sad how people have turned against him on the word of Amber Heard who has a criminal record, including domestic violence and fraud, dating back to when she was 16. For the record, I'm a woman (before I get accused of being a misogynist), but I've looked into Heard's accusations and it's a bullshit scam concocted by a terrible actress seeking to get out of a sham marriage. She only married Depp to up her profile. She wanted her girlfriend to move into his house and when he refused their relationship turned sour. She only accused him of DV after he refused to pay her 50k a month. Then there's the failures to show up to court. Her "evidence" not being admissible because it's been edited. The descrepencies in her stories. She even admitted to lying about the mirror writing and people still believe her! Now she's stringing along Elon Musk and has got him to invest into her girlfriend's business.
Big Al!

Hasn't it been pushing a decade since Jack has had a movie?
ReplyDeleteI was just coming back to say what Skittle Kitty wrote about Jack.
ReplyDeleteI thought this was Johnny Depp.
ReplyDeleteNicholson hasn't worked since 2010 although he has "announced" a potential film. Probably Pacino who is filming the Scorsese film about Jimmy Hoffa.

ReplyDeleteHow has no one guess Christopher Plummer??

ReplyDeleteJohnny Depp should quit "acting" and just stick with the Hollywood Vampires thing before he gets too pathetic. Oh wait it's too late.

ReplyDeleteAgree on Depp. I think his "muse" Keith Richards is actually in better physical and mental shape right now than Depp.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone surprised Jack Nicholson is still alive? He must have won the genetic lottery considering all the drugs he has done.

ReplyDeleteI'd love it of the person on the other end of the earpiece said 'say hello to my little friend!' for a dare.

This has to be James Earl Jones. He's been struggling with health issues for some time.
