Blind Item #4

Apparently on more than one occasion, this A list mostly movie actor forced himself on this former back in the day A list mostly movie actress who has not acted in some time. One of the times was witnessed by someone who walked in on the pair in his dressing room. The actress was topless and on her knees and as soon as the door opened, the actress made a break for it as fast as she could. The actor laughed it off.

Jesus Christ. Are these Hollywood freaks really that insecure? A real man can easily seduce a woman. A freak has to resort to force or threats.

  5. How does this prove he "forced himself"? The facts are also consistent with consensual sex in which the actress left in embarrassment after being discovered in flagrante delicto.

    1. Are you saying Sheedy is Shady😰
Seriously though I wondered that upon reading it,and then thought back on the original tweet. Definitely unsure as to why she would be forced. It was a show they were in (can’t temember who directed?) -but did he yield that much power? She has always appeared to be extremely autonomous and fierce, on a way. Like her character in High Art(good film, great performance )

    2. Unless there is more info, if I was a juror, I would not convict him (purely he said/she said.) however I believe her from his past and wouldn’t hire him.

@Tricia - Franco was the play’s director. Must have been a big deal for her to get the part after 4 years of little work. She’s only done a couple of smaller things since

@D Brown - and there’s no humiliation when you’re caught in a forced/coerced sexual act? Use your empathy

  7. So Ally left the business because she forgot to lock the door before going down on Franco?

  8. I love how people, especially men, decide that these blinds don't mean the women were forced or coerced.
Until someone has the misfortune to be put in this position, how can you possibly understand?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh, Ally.

And honestly, coercion happens in many forms.

Unless you've been sexually assaulted, date raped, or given an ultimatum, you just can't understand.

  10. I'm a woman and I find it really annoying how many actresses are jumping on this bandwagon, and acting like being coerced, is rape. It is not.
When you have the choice to walk out or say no, you do it, or you whore yourself out, but don't play the victim afterwards.
Same goes for yacht girls/models/offspring btw, no matter what age: they go onto those yachts willingly.
even if they're 16. They aren't kidnapped and dragged there.
It's highly offensive to those who really have been raped, sexually enslaved, or what not, and never had the choice of walking out of hotel or dressing room.

Read the room, boredatwork: we aren’t going to put up with victim blaming, silencing or minimising any more. Your attitude has become sorely outdated in the past few months. Coercion, harassment, assault, abuse - no-one should experience these, and you certainly shouldn’t Matt Damon the whole thing with an added sprinkle of internalised misogyny.

Do you realise that survivors read this site and post in the comments? Attitudes like yours make victims think they can’t speak out. So stop it

    2. Sure it’s not rape, but it is it’s own horrid beast. And in the discussion, let’s keep in mind this was practically institutionally accepted behavior. It was happening everywhere and everyone knew. Sure I’d rather be propositioned for work over being raped, but that doesn’t negate the horrible thing it is.

  14. @D Cox - Please learn to read. The blind contains only two"facts": the couple was having sex and the women left upon discovery. There is nothing in the blind that says (a) what happened between the man and the woman that led to the sex and (b) no statement from the women saying the sex was in anyway coerced. As for your snide comment, implying that I did not believe being forced into sex would not be humiliating, I would again suggest you learn to read. I said no such thing.

  15. Fuck off Donald Cox. No woman needs your 'mansplaining'. I have experienced harassment, molestation and domestic abuse. As have many women that I know. I am not a fucking victim, never have I been a fucking victim and don't appreciate you and the rest of the echo chamber telling me how to think or feel. I learned how to recognize situations, defend myself and not allow it to affect my psyche. I have also taught many others to do the same. As a woman who worked in a male-dominated. field from the late '70s, I know whereof I speak. Teach your children and loved ones to be wary and aware. Raise your children with kindness and respect for others. Raise them to be ladies and gentlemen. Teach them about fairness, equality, empathy and charity. Give them the gifts of self-confidence and critical thinking. Teach them self-responsibility and independence. Give them economic and environmental safety and security. Love them. That will do more than any hashtag or pin could ever do.

  16. Donald Cox, I can only echo weekkittylass: fuck off.

I would rather stand alone against a room filled with followers, knowing my truth, than go with a bunch of easily manipulated morons with torches and pitchforks.

Women, children, girls and boys are raped every day all over the world. I am not victim blaming anyone, neither am I minimising,
it is in fact you and your kind who is minimising.
It is exactly Hollywood that is minimising the real victims.
These women are in this industry, they all know what this industry is like. It is not new, it has always been this way, they know this going in. Unless you think all women are stupid. 9 out of 10 of them sleep with producers, directors and actors willingly.
Then they have the audacity to tweet some metoo bullshit, put on a black dress and jump on the giant bandwagon of the abused, while applauding rapists and handing awards to James fucking Franco, and you still buy this shit? How dumb are you?

Of course a lot of these men in Hollywood are predators, I never said they weren't. But many of them can get 1,000 girls to suck them off anytime, anywhere, without forcing any of them, and these girls do it very happily. Some of these girls become famous movie stars. Grow the fuck up.

  18. Not sure some on this board have the brains to make a sensible argument in their own defence. Anyone who is bored at work should have spent more time in school in order to get a wonderful, challenging career that could have stopped this sad descent into rage, bitterness and authoritarian submission. Fuck off, Brexitard, go troll elsewhere.

  19. Karen Walker - I am going nowhere, if you want to shut up people whose opinions you don't like, you fuck off, to North Korea or Iran.

I will write whatever I want, and there's nothing you hysterical libtards can do about it. You can burn down your college campuses, give more awards to rapists, then 5 minutes later pretend you care about the victims, and throw your little temper tantrums, but you won't shut me up.

Btw, the reason I'm bored at work is because I barely do anything, I am the boss and I have fantastic employees.

And yes BREXIT BABY - we all voted for it, hence it won, just like Trump won

now kiss my arse you 2001 has-been xoxoxo

  28. Donald Cox: "Read the room, boredatwork: we aren’t going to put up with victim blaming, silencing or minimising any more. Your attitude has become sorely outdated in the past few months."

Truth doesn't have an expiration date. Sometimes there are 2 sides to the story, and this country has a fabled history, pun intended, of presumed innocence. We're not all ready to throw that out with the bath water.

I have a friend who is guilty of multiple counts of rape. Time after time he raped his wife. He forced himself on her without her consent. As a matter of fact, she wasn't even conscious when he raped her. He laughed when she came to and objected. He stopped, but too late, right? He never thought it was a problem, because he's married to the victim. Until now.

How many of you are guilty of wake-up sex?

  31. She may have been threatened some way. We don't know what the complete circumstances were. I see a lot of assumptions here.

When determining the credibility of any story, you always have to look for that "ONE DETAIL" thrown in, that without said detail, the story would have a lesser degree of believability. Exhibit A is "forced himself". Take that out, and you have an actress topless giving a blowjob and running away when the door opened. I mean, if you add in the movie actor threatened her then it's sexual assault, but that's not what is presented here. A lot of things can go wrong with a forced blow job.....just ask the sisters in the shawshank redemption.
