This long running FX show which recently switched channels might have set the record for most behind the scenes settlements with actresses and crew that has ever been recorded. One person told me that right before she quit, one of the actors came up to her and asked how come she had not"blown him" yet and they should go to his trailer and change that. She proceeded to kick him in the balls and enjoyed watching him bend over in pain.
Archer?
ReplyDeleteIt's Always Sunny in Philadelphia?
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the only show I know there plus Danny DeVito.
ReplyDeleteNashville?
ReplyDeleteNashville has never been on FX (first on ABC, then CMT).
ReplyDeleteSo he did not actually touch her and she committed battery on him? I am against even verbal harassment but that does not mean vigilante justice is alright either. Did she quit or was she fired?
ReplyDeleteYes maybe he will think twice about harassment or should she judt take his shit?
DeleteYes maybe he will think twice about harassment or should she judt take his shit?
DeleteYes maybe he will think twice about harassment or should she judt take his shit?
DeleteOr maybe three times
DeleteWow. Really??? He absolutely deserved that kick.
DeleteI don't think it's IASIP, it switched to FXX 5 years ago, so not particularly recent. Archer would make more sense since it moved just last year.
ReplyDeleteThe League. Seems to be the type of humor to breed that kind of environment, and only one woman has remained on the showas long as the main male cast -- Katie Aselton, wife of star Mark Duplass.
ReplyDeleteI am guessing the man who got kicked --and was nodoubt the biggest reason for the payouts -- was Steve Rannazzisi, just based on the fact he lied about being a 9/11 survivor. He's that type of guy.
Sid Vicious
ReplyDeleteMay I just make an observation that's missing from the conversation today? This will probably be more incendiary than any political comment, but I don't care.
ReplyDeleteMen, some of you like to give oral sex to a woman. I dare say that most don't. The same goes with women. We not only have to lick your sweaty, stinky stuff, but we are expected to choke, lose the ability to breath for seconds at a time, and usually, swallow the most vile bleach-scented mucus imaginable with a smile, lest we be considered "bitches". When in love one does it happily. When dating one does it to remain eligible for another date.
Please get over your belief that a blowjob is a no-big-deal thing that is your entitlement as a man.
Ha! I love you...in a strictly platonic way.
Delete^^PREACH!👐
DeleteI love you for speaking the truth!
DeleteAlways hold back a little on the swallow and give the gent a big wet kiss as a finale.
DeleteRight on Just sayin!!!! Add tossed salads in too. Only when in love and please shower and clean yourselves prior to the act.
DeleteI actually enjoy going down on my lady as I love getting her going. But I agree with you that us men can be kind of gross down there. I won’t let her do me unless I am freshly showered as I agree we can be funky down there. I also won’t go down though without her showering. I am big on smells, so if it is clean and smelling good, I’m going to town!!! I know mr cox calls me a victim blamer but if women handled these harassers like this, they would think twice about behaving like assholes
DeleteI don't think its Archer. That is an animated show,so the cast would not necessarily have to interact in person. Also, the entire main female voice cast has remained on the show since the beginning.
ReplyDeleteArcher is recorded separately so would not use trailers.
ReplyDeletePlus I don't see Ayisha Tyler putting up with any nonsense.
IASIF sounds right to me.
BTW if you haven't go visit Twitter and applaud Eliza Dushku.
The League has been off the air for a couple years.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like It's Always Sunny...
ReplyDelete"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia moved to FXX starting with its 9th season."
http://itsalwayssunny.wikia.com/wiki/FXX
@just sayin: OMG x 1000000000000000
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ, it is not fun! It is not easy! It wears us out! I have TMJ disorder AND IT HURTS MY JAW and does to most every woman, damnit! And the worst thing ever made was -- wait for it.....THE BLUE PILL!!
Hi Don!
+1 just sayin'
ReplyDeleteThe male entitlement around blow jobs, which they think is "no biggie" for us yet it's sure a biggie for them, is disgusting. If men think that women should perform blowjobs as a matter of course, as something casually "not sex" but fun, then I suggest they go out there and perform some themselves as "no biggie" and report back to us.
@justsayin - uh, plenty of people love giving oral. Don't project onto others
ReplyDeleteAlways Sunny is extremely unlikely comsidering the various cast members are married to other cast members (except for devito)
note: blind said "changed channels" - not networks. so anything from fx to fxx fits.
ReplyDeleteThe League went off air in 2015, and all the Archer cast members are recorded separately at different times and locations

ReplyDeleteThank you guys. It is a very intimate act, in some ways far more intimate than vaginal sex, and it belongs in a caring relationship, not as a thank you for dinner. Donald Cox, I didn't say that no women enjoy it, I said it is treated like a casual entitlement, and as Plot said, an "alternative" to actual sex. I'm not projecting anything, I'm no prude, I like sex, but I don't like men who think it's my obligation to provide it. If you have daughters I'll bet you want the men they associate with to treat them with the sensitivity I'm recommending.
ReplyDeleteI think we can credit 2 cultural moments for this: Bill Clinton's testimony that he "did not have sexual relations with that women", which taught our youth that the President doesn't consider oral to be real sex, and the Christian chastity movement which taught kids that vaginal sex is the only real "sin", putting oral and anal into common practice for teens.
And My...: I know! tmj here too, lol.
I agree with you completely regarding sexual entitlement and no-one is obliged to perform any sexual acts with anyone. The rest of your points are regarding your own personal feelings about performing oral and when you feel it is right for you does not apply to everyone else.
ReplyDeleteTo clarify I love your posts and very much agree with you on most points, but I know plenty of women (and men) who love nothing more than a consensual penis in the yapper. The danger with your attitude is that people who like giving oral or receiving anal will be seen as more "dirty", implying as it does that certain sexual acts carry an implicit shame for those who dare perform them.
Hey, I'm old enough to remember when it was easier to get laid than to get blown.
ReplyDelete@just saying - you are correct in everything you said, however, may I point you that you might be surrounded by the wrong type of men, type: Hollywood drug addled, powerdrunken trash, that is utterly detached from reality, and lives in a world of whores and strippers.
ReplyDeleteMost men I met are rather grateful for a blowie and always have been. I think in all my life I only met 1 or 2 who thought it was part of the make-out package, something they came to regret very quickly, when putting these sorts of expectations upon myself.
A woman will be much more generous, when a man displays the appropriate gratitude, whichever way that might manifest itself.
Definitely see this as The League. It’s literally pure “locker room type bullshit” 24/7. Not sold on Kevin (Steve Ranzissi) being the BJ requestor, but he’s as good as any other candidate among the regulars (Ruxin/Nick Kroll, Pete/Mark Duplass, and Taco/John Lajoie) at the very least except maybe Paul Scheer/Andre. But my guess would be Rafi/Jason Matszoukas I mean those sorts of lines were standard for him on the show:
ReplyDeletehttps://youtu.be/XHhhNme8t_w
Thanks Donald Cox, I appreciate it and enjoy your comments, too. I got a little graphic in my description, making it seem disgusting -- I was trying to (helpfully, lol) put ignorant men into a mindset where they could understand that this isn't an all-pleasure, easy-peasy activity for their partners as it is for them. I don't mean to shame anyone about sex. I have 4 kids and enjoyed making every one of them.
ReplyDeleteIt's the entitlement that's the problem -- "if I want you, you must want me". Or worse, "even if you don't want me, give it to me". It enables the sex crimes we all disapprove of, though of course on a different level. I don't live in Hollywood at all...there are piggish men (and women) everywhere, lol. And there are great people everywhere too, they just seem harder to find these days.
Right Gordon Scott? Oral used to be upper-level sex, now it's practically part of flirting.
ReplyDeleteNo problem at all justsaying, glad we both managed to get our points understood politely and quickly! Would that all internet disagreements get resolved so nicely.
ReplyDeleteI still don't think it's The League as it wentoff the air three years ago though I did find it unpleasantly bro in its humour when the likes of Kroll, Scheer and Mantzoukas are far more astute, witty and progessive in their other work, podcasts etc.
IASIP as I said is made up of married cast members, unless DeVito is the actor and perhaps Artemis Pebdani the actress...
I don't see Always Sunny fitting. Number one, they don't have many actresses who have quit (not that many actresses recurring in the first place -- and the only ones I can think of that have "quit" would be Ann Archer (Frank's Whore Wife) and Catherine Reitman (Maureen Pondorosa, fell and broke her neck acting like a cat.)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to agree with Archer on this. IASIP is one of the best comedies on tv. Love that show.
ReplyDeleteArcher doesn't fit either without any female cast departures and also the way the show is made
ReplyDelete"Our actors have lots of other projects, so they're often traveling. We record them wherever they happen to be. They all record by themselves. We get them over the phone or using this service called ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network)."
http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2013/04/behind-the-scenes-of-the-archer-season-4-finale/how-an-archer-episode-comes-together
Could also be You're the Worst. Is that worth a BJ?
ReplyDeletei will chime in and say that *plenty* of men enjoy giving oral sex (to women, if they're straight), and are quite good at it. I can also testify from experience that almost all women enjoy receiving it. So, there's that. I think Just Sayin's comment need to swing both ways.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is that crotches (male or female) can easily be stinky and sweaty. Proper hygiene is a must there, and then going down is quite the pleasurable experience for both parties. That's why the French invented bidets... a sink for your privates!
Humorous aside... I went on a student trip to France when I was 14 and we stayed at older hotels some of which had a "water closet" down the hall. But each room had a sink and a bidet. Being naive, we called in one of our (French-born) teachers who was chaperoning, and asked what the bidet was for. She looked embarrassed and said "It's for washing your feet.... [long pause] and other things."
Anyway, more American homes should have a bidet.
Just want to point out the blind says the quitter was a person not an actor/actress could very well be crew and not cast if youre following that lead
ReplyDeleteJust sayin - as Samantha said on Sex And The City, "they don't call it a JOB for nothin!"
ReplyDelete:)
+1 Paris.
ReplyDeleteCheez Whiz: like I said I wasn't talking about normal, happy, consensual, sex in the privacy of one's own home (where there are showers, at least). I was talking about guys like in this blind: at work, probably sweaty, peed several times today (with no bidet afterward) who thinks whipping it out and asking her to open wide could be sexy.
Just say in' I love you!!!! You have me in stitches.
ReplyDeleteI doubt its Always Sunny
ReplyDelete1. The cast are married to each other
2. Dee and probably The Waitress are the only 2 female leads. The Waitrss will obviously be in the next season.
3. This blind said "recently". Does FX>FXX even count? too
4. Always Sunny is a pretty low budget show from what I've heard. They barely even use actual music.
5. Any woman who quit would most likely be guest actress. Only women who fit that are Dennis's mom and the tranny(who ended her storyline). Only actor who was actually fired would be Stephan Collins.
6. Danny Devito would most likley be considered a Permanent A Lister. Charlie Day would also be an A/B list. The others are TV actors who would have been brought up/
I'm down with @justsayin' about the BJ thing. Lordy...
ReplyDeleteStephen Collins was on 2 episodes of It's Always Sunny. Any questions? Huge cast list: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472954/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast
@ justsayin I am a Man and you're right. But I'll have you know most of the Men I associate with do not behave in such a manner. It's 50/50. Some do some don't. As a youngster, I personally fought and stood up for two teen girlfriends at a party and took a knife in the gut for this exact situation. Some 'Men' are educated horribly. Maxim - Porn - bad parenting - Sports all fuels the volatile ego embedded in our DNA. With this blind we have the unfortunate double entitlement - the first being a Man - the second being a celebrity. Men do these things who are not celebrities but when they are - look out. They'll take no prisoners. Unfortunately and I hate to say this - the only thing that will stop them is violence. Be well.
ReplyDeleteBetter things??
ReplyDeleteThanks, sisters!
ReplyDeleteSpider Rico: Thanks for being a decent guy and also sharing your horrific story - I'm so sorry. I think you're right about the porn aspect. Both boys and girls are getting SUCH a warped view sex. And parental controls be damned, they're seeing it somewhere and way too young.
Raging Bunnies: no words. You are a genius.
'You're The Worst' moved from FX to FXX in 2015. Don't know much about it some can't comment further.
ReplyDeleteBesides that and Sunny, I can't find any others that moved from FX to any other channel.
But, like others said, I don't think Sunny fits the blind that well (both because it switched channels almost 5 yrs ago, and because the actors are supposedly really good guys). Maybe Enty was fed incorrect/incomplete information? However, (coming from someone who watches Sunny) I could see some of the actors saying this as a bad joke to actresses they are familiar with, which would qualify for sexual harassment, but not necessarily warranting a hard kick to the balls. Their characters would definitely say this, so maybe they're just method actors? I could also see DeVito doing this.
Could be Sunny, but it wouldn't be my first guess. Kaitlin Olson and Mary Elizabeth Ellis wouldn't put up with that Shit.
My uneducated guess would be You're The Worst.
For those who think it can't be The League (because it ended in 2015) but could be IASIP, which is still on -- both shows switched from FX to FXX in 2013, so if that year is recent enough for Sunny, than it is recent enough for The League which was still on at that moment. Enty never said the show is still airing -- just switched channels. So, again, because they switched at the same time, if the timeline is right for Sunny it is STILL right for the since-cancelled League. And it makes sense for that show due to the larger female supporting cast; IASIP has always been, mostly, the same five core members plus guest stars. (Also, if it was Sunny, I would think the bj dude would be Glenn Howerton over DeVito.)
ReplyDeleteIf "Recent" means sooner than '13, than it can ONLY be WILFRED (moved in 2014; in that case, I'd assume BJ dude to be Jason McCann) or YOU'RE THE WORST (moved 2015, so I'd assume Chris Geere), the only FX shows to move since then.
Sticking with The League for this one.
And sticking with Steve Rannizzisi for BJ guy.
While I have no idea on this blind, Regina Simons has come forward about Seagal and LAPD are investigating
ReplyDeletehttps://www.thewrap.com/steven-seagal-rape-regina-simons-faviola-davis/
Man, where’s the count when you need him?
ReplyDeleteThe trick to bj, for anyone who dosnt know, is using your hand. No need for TMJ, etc. Also pull your tits out and act really sexy/slutty, etc. If it takes longer than 2 mins youre doing it wrong or he's high. If your in a "relationship", you may have to add a dildo, too speed things up, and, if it's worth it to you. After which, he will become your best friend for life. I hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteIt could very well be it's Always Sunny. Danny D is kind of a perv. I've heard stories but I also have a personal anecdote for what it's worth: I used to do interviews on the red carpet many years ago. While interviewing him during a (small) red carpet event he said the most vile, disgusting things to me I have ever heard in my life. Something like wanting to chain me up in his basement...and then let your imagination fill in the rest. My video guy was stunned and asked me if I was okay after DD walked away. Our jaws hit the floor! Given this and other stories, I wonder the horror stories the actresses on the show have, and wonder why more stuff hasn't come out.
ReplyDeleteSorry i’m Late to the party but @just sayin’ is awesome.
ReplyDeleteTo those who think that most men don’t behave this way, assholes like this don’t reveal that side of themselves to decent men. Unfortunately women who are on the receiving end of this treatment can’t avoid it.
Could it be sons of anarchy? It’s not IASIP. They’re all married to eachother!
ReplyDeleteHas the way younger people have sex become disgusting? Because I thought everybody knew you're not supposed to force people to do BJ. No?
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of strange male behavior, but I never felt forced to give BJ, ot once.
Maybe a person who finds themselves in this situation, can simply let the person know, "no thanks".
And BTW, Ive propositioned men before, with great results, so if I can do it, why cant he?
I'm gonna add something very controversial here now, after Media Viewer's comment about younger people.
ReplyDeleteI do think that certain generational signals might also add to all this sexual degenerations. We see young women, in some cases very young women, blowing up their lips with injections, and posting extremely sexualised pictures of themselves on social media. They turn themselves into sex objects, who have nothing else to offer but some holes, and they get millions upon million of followers who think this is normal and acceptable. I keep hearing stories about teenage girls in high school giving blow jobs as a sport.
This shit did not happen when I was a teen. This is a new phenomenon, and completely fuelled by Hollywood celebrity culture. And then at the same time they scream for puritanism?
Then you don't just have the Kardashians, but also the Paltrows steaming their vaginas, putting eggs up vaginas, talking about enemas, etc obsessed with arseholes and pussies and what can be put up there.
Do it if you like, I don't care, but is nothing private anymore?
The Chelsea Handlers, and their 'comedy': pussy pussy pussy, blow job blow job blow job.
The celebrity mothers (actresses, models, singers, reality tv nobodies) who place more importance on their daughters being models, than getting an education.
You can't have it both ways. You can't turn your girls into empty sex objects, and then complain that they are viewed as sex objects by the boys.
So incredibly true(per usual).
DeleteCalls to mind Emily Ratajkowski(notva sentence I often write btw:)She is a self professed “feminist” and crusader for women empowerment (through her yachting, half naked, pouty mouth 👄 touch the finger to the mouth photo shoots, mind you); but where has she been on all these allegations and heinous acts that happened/happen in the biz??
Oh that’s right, silly me! Her careee in indebted to it...
+1 bored: this is where I think porn enters the equation. Girls have to compete with the women that males see as "ideal", both in appearance and behavior. Kylie Jenner is the perfect anti-role model for teen girls: if even a beautiful, skinny girl raised in privilege with built-in fame has to blow up her lips and her hips and her boobs and pay millions of dollars to keep a c-list boyfriend, what hope is there for me?
ReplyDeleteIt's not IASIP: Kaitlin Olsen and Rob McElhenney are married to each other. So are Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis. Rob and Glenn developed it. All of the cast are very tight-knit. Danny Devito's also scheduled to come back for the next season. Not sure about Howerton because of his new show AP Bio. And Kaitlin is widely successful with The Mick.
ReplyDeleteThe League ended sometime around 2015 and all the OG cast members were there until the end. Also, Katie Asleton and Mark Duplass are married.
You're The Worst has a small cast and I don't believe any actress left (I stopped watching after season2) And it's only in its 4th season to be called long running.
@just saying: you should not compete with porno actresses, they aren't real, they are a fantasy. And you definitely do not want the type of man who thinks that is what a normal woman looks like. There are plenty of normal men out there, who are intelligent enough to know the difference between a wanking example, and a real proper woman. This is what you want to attract, and you won't attract it if you look like a Kardashian reject. Just be yourself, look like yourself, and you will attract the right man for yourself.
ReplyDeleteHahaha bored at work: I think I love you. I'm stunned to learn I read as someone who's in competition with the Kylie Jenner archetype. I really should use the internet to create a cuter image for myself, but I prefer to be me. I'm 60. Stopped trying to find a man awhile back (with the advent of Viagra it's futile for an old bitch to compete with younger women. And not interested in one-night-stands or men who want a sugar-mama.)
ReplyDeleteI'm not even worried for my own daughters, well, too much anyway. They both are plastic-surgery free, educated, fiercely independent and the coolest chicks I know. But I know it's harder for them than it was in the 70's and 80's to feel "good enough". I'm so glad I'm not raising young kids in the Kardashian era.
Just saying, I did not mean to imply you are competing with a Kardashian lol, I was merely generalising.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear about your daughters, it sounds like you raised them right.
I have this great aunt (who has never been much of a looker btw) who met a man at 64 and they have been together for 20 years now. He's 5 years older, they both lost their spouses to illnesses.
You should see them, they are so cute together. She cooks, he does the dishes, she clips his nose and ear hairs, and he prepares her pills every morning with a cup of tea, and reminds her to take them. They are so totally and utterly in love, it's very inspirational. Whenever I go to visit them I bring booze, whiskey for him and honey liquor for her. We all drink and eventually they ask me to leave, because 'it's bedtime'. Lol
Never give up.
@just sayin: Purrrfectly stated. Our generation didn't have to compete with who/what is now being seen as the "new normal." Which isn't! We're not blown up with implants, etc. Our grandkids are so skewed as to what normal is suppose to be, it's a wonder it's hard to keep them grounded.
ReplyDeleteI worked in a wealthy neighborhood high school through the early 2000's and what the kids were caught doing would shock you. And these were only the ones who got caught!
Bored - aw that's a great story, thanks. I do still dream but he's gonna have to walk smack into my life and make it clear he's not a creep, cuz I just don't even look anymore. Nothing would be more wonderful than to grow old with someone sweet and clip each other's nose hairs (funny how one's definition of fun changes over time, lol.)
ReplyDeleteSomebody light my fire - nothing would shock me! lol. I sent my kids to private school too to keep them safer and discovered that rich kids just get more and better quality drugs. Considered for a second sending them to a religious school but heard they had more sex there - while keeping their virginity, ugh.
ReplyDeletejust saying: we might not agree on everything, but you do sound like a very sweet woman, and I hope you do find what you are not looking for. My auntie also wasn't looking btw, she didn't even want to hear about men. It just happened. Stranger things happen all the time :)
ReplyDeleteThanks bored! Back at you. In the long run politics are so unimportant. What world leaders are doing is important, and we all get rightfully worked up, but I'd rather focus on the person than the politics. Otherwise my brother and I would never speak again, lol.
ReplyDeleteLol, your brother sounds cool hehe ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, you'd get along GREAT! lol
ReplyDeleteWhy is no one guessing Louie?
ReplyDeletejust sayin' TMI, JS.
ReplyDeleteYou're the worst is my guess
ReplyDelete
