Because I'd think if this girl knows she's Janet's, then she also know James is her dad, and she has to be talking to him - and why he hasn't said much about his daughter remains as big a mystery to me.

And who marries a siblings ex-spiuse or baby mama?!? I could never look at my brother-in-law’s that way!! Ick! Randy was the youngest brother, right?? He seems “normal” for that family. First time poster but I will always put my two cents in re: Joe Jackson. I stayed at a really lovely hotel in Vegas a couple months ago and Joe and his people were in the suite next to mine. I have never in my life looked into someone's eyes that devoid of any life, happiness or anything. He was a truly chilling, empty and evil looking person. I'll never forget his eyes.

Didn't Janet's sister, La Toya, write a scathing tell-all book about their childhood, going so far as to accuse their dad, Joe Jackson, of molesting ALL of the kids (boys and girl) and the mother alternating between trying to protect her kids but also using him to threaten them whenever she felt overwhelmed? Pretty sure she did, way back in the day. Isn't that where we learned that only the sister, Rebbie, cracked, told anyone who would listen and was finally rescued (adopted?) by someone else as a teen because she couldn't handle the raping any longer? Yeah, pretty sure we did. Listen folks, the kind of people who are "credible" sources when it comes to incest/rape are precisely so because they are the kind of people who would NEVER tell - this shit is rigged. Only the really cray-cray ones are able to tell it, tell it again, and then tell it some more; hence, crazy-ass La Toya told ALL of her family's secrets in her book a long, long, long time ago. Crazy no one remembers now because at the time all of my friends read that book in, like, one night and I can't be the only Old on this blog. A close friend of mine who dabbled in the entertainment business a long time ago told me that the Jackson patriarch and family were a kind of template and that the Osmonds (sp?) and Debarge family fit that mold perfectly.

ReplyDeleteOhhh there's a whole lotta crazy going on with the Jackson clan. Apparently Joe had a kid with someone else too. She was subsidized, and I think was even socialized with the kids at times, but wasn't given any of the perks and didn't cash in like the rest of them.
