Blind Item #2

This former almost A- list mostly movie actress turned escort is hiding out in the US because she stole a painting from one of her clients. Now she is hoping another client will pay off the victim client so she can go back overseas and make some money.

    1. While I agree to an extent and have empathy (having met her dad a few times when our children were at same school last year him claiming they”still best friends”..um, ok...), by most accounts she is just an unpleasant person to others... selfish, unkind. At some point she really could have healed and maybe turned it around and help others here that need it(not charading overseas visiting Turkish hospitals etc)

  5. OFF TOPIC:

I want to apologize for being such a debbie downer the past month or so. I noticed (as well as my fam and friends) that I was constantly angry and irritated. I realized I got so disturbed by everything going on in Hollywood, DC, heck, the whole world and just seeing over and over again how NOTHING IS CHANGING, I became extremely disenchanted with people, and life in general.

Anyway, I noticed my posts have been "angry" "cynical" and like I said above, basically a debbie downer.

I took a couple of days away from the computer, away from tv and media and spent time at the beach remembering the more beautiful things in this world. I feel better. It didn't change the world, but I can't change the world and I think the overachiever in me thought I could. (I'm a helper, a fixer...so, when i can't fix something or I see people who can, but don't, it irks the petunia out of me).

Anyway, short story long: My apologies to my fellow CDaNers for the negative cynicism I was spewing out.

Here's to 2018 - full of peace, love and fun gossip. /grin/

There’s always some kind of bullshit going on. The Reagans has their own personal astrologer in the White House. Think of the mass hysteria if we had internet and 24 hour news channels back then.

Want to change the world? Change yourself.

  7. What did she do with the painting? Why couldn't she just return it?

  8. D Brown - My guess is she sold it for drugs or to pay for money she owed for drugs.

And thanks everyone. I do feel better. It helped getting outside and being in the sun and smelling the fresh ocean air. Like haydnhorse said, gotta stop and smell the roses once in a while.

  9. Hey @Glue, it IS hard & depressing to hear bad news ALL day, EVERY day, however, you CAN make a difference in the lives of the people you see around you. Smile at someone, pay for someone's coffee, go to the beach (sounds like you're near one!!) and enjoy the sun & surf. There IS good out in the world, especially if we take time to notice the lives of others & help in any way we can :)

  11. +1 Becki So true. That's for the reminder that it's the little things that make a big difference.

Tricia, I agree, the ocean is very healing: physically, mentally and emotionally.

  12. @Becki typo fix: "Thanks for the reminder" not "That's"

  13. Gotta be Lindsey. How's she not dead yet?

  14. Stole a painting? Like something out of Remmington Steele? What, did she tuck it inside her yoga pants and sneak out the back door? How bizarre.

@Glue, that's good advice, to unplug for a few days once in a while. While current events may be important, our immediate knowledge and online discussions of them aren't nearly as important as they can come to seem when we get immersed in them for too long. Glad you're feeling refreshed.

  15. Glue - I can empathise with you. Sometimes the world just gets too much when you feel surrounded by either stupidity or filth, and all you want to do is scream. Glad you are feeling better.

Call +1, unless it's a very small painting, this sounds weird, especially if framed, it wouldn't fit into any suitcase and somebody like her would get stopped at customs, if hand carrying. .

  16. Please, that girl probably has enough room up hooha (yes, I am at work) to steal a car up there. #beatCounttooit

Do what i do - cancel cable, don't listen to radio, and limit your internet exposure. Turning off the doom and gloom of network TV news alone will change your life. I haven't had cable in 3 years, and I don't miss it a bit. I have Netflix, and a cable modem.

    LiLo
    Iggy A
    Sarah Harding
Who else? Do customers just phone up their agent?

  21. This trick just never got it together.
I am so shocked she is still alive between the drugs and the reckless behavior she engages in with people who have lots of money and power and can make her disappear.
I am shocked she has not been offed by someone for her antics.
She is a liability to anyone she is involved with.
She is not a kid anymore, I feel no pity.

  22. People need to stop covering for Lindsay and all of her kleptomania. She should go to jail for theft like everyone else, she's stolen from people enough times.

  23. Awww @glue our beach is a happy place, and until 2 days ago it was freezing cold here and devoid of humans except Russians and Canadians I bet. I'm glad you feel better, me, I head to a beach side tiki bar or two and get plastered. As an aside glue lives in the same general area I do, so I definitely can relate to what she is saying and our miles and miles of beaches are normally beautiful places to be.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Glue - I can empathise. I don't even watch the news on TV - at least if I read it on the internet I can choose which articles to look at. I'm not far from the countryside so I do get out and be with nature - I love birds and I find watching them very calming, and there's a river nearby too. Btw, did you get around to seeing your crush, Richard E.Grant in Withnail and I? I hope you liked it. Wishing you all the best.

  26. I do think this is Lilo, but is she hiding out by going on the Wendy Williams show? How high is she?

  27. Glue, I feel you. I missed all of last month, but sometimes showing that emotion is not a bad thing. I have always enjoyed your posts!!

My happy place is also the beach. Nothing like hearing the waves crash @ night, the sunrises and/or sunsets...

I was quite sick last year and my hubby took me on 2 different beach trips. I had some days that I couldn’t leave the room, but you could not wipe the smile off my face!!

I pray you have a peaceful and joy filled 2018!!

  28. Kimberley - I haven't yet. Funny that you asked because I was just thinking about it over the weekend - holidays were crazy too many people in the house.

I decided the next rainy day is going to be my Richard E Grant day. I don't know what it is about him...but I just ADORE him! First time I ever saw him was in How to Get Ahead in Advertising. He was SO funny in that movie. Stupid movie, but I fell in love with him.

@Sandybrook - oh my gosh YES, Space Coast has been beautiful these last two days!! We are very blessed.

To all who suggested cutting out tv, media...you are absolutely correct. No longer do I read the news or turn on the tv and watch the news right after waking up. My mornings have been so pleasant since I cut out the negativity first thing in the morning. It puts me in a better frame of mind for the day. Then through out the day I'll peruse some news site and like Kimberley said, pick and choose what I want to infiltrate my brain.

CDaN is still my guilty pleasure, though. /grin/

  29. @Glue, we're yet to properly be acquainted, but welcome back! I can completely empathize; certain aspects of this world make for a thoroughly depressing place sometimes. At best, you see the ugly side of people you may have spent years, perhaps even your entire life, admiring; at worst, you learn that depravity and evil know no limits. It's good you have the opportunity to take a break from it once in a while, because lord knows it's a well deserved one.

  30. She just STOLE a painting. Did you read about the one-night-stand some billionaire brought home who DESTROYED his Warhol paintings?

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Glue, I totally understand. I quit FB (more or less) a year ago for this reason. Toxic behavior and attitudes are so pervasive. It feels inescapable, and it has taken a huge emotional toll.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Boo - You've just reminded me; there was a Blind Reveal that Naomi Campbell stole/tried to steal a valuable painting from a 'client.'

@Glue - Re: 'Withnail and I', some fun facts: it was his breakout role, and after it he was huge (certainly here in the U.K); he is allergic to alcohol in real life, but the movie involves him drinking a LOT of alcohol, so the director put vinegar in his glass for that authentic disgusted expression; the movie nearly didn't get made due to lack of finance, until George Harrison (yes, THE George Harrison of The Beatles) offered to fund it and set up the film company 'Handmade Films.'

    Forgive me, wildly off-topic.

  33. I love fun trivia facts like that. Thank you for sharing. Makes me adore him even more now!!

  37. Glue, the hols can be so stressful for women as we are the 'glue' that holds the family together. Then all the other dissonant, deafening noise we are surrounded by, makes it hard on some to take a breath. Breathe deep that salt air, wiggle your toes in that sand and have a drink or three (just Uber it home). My beach has been buried under a foot of snow, which we don't get often, and temps have plunged into the 0-10 degree range with 25-35 mile winds. Today it's 75, raining and I have the windows open. Get your peace of mind on.

  38. Yeah, that billionaire was a trump supporter. The hooker he hired smashed a few statues. However, he made sure she was good and drunk when he brought her home on a "first" date. Got what he deserved.

I'm officially devastated. (lil' overdramatic but still....)
Cannot find Withnail and I. It's not on Hulu, not on Netflix. Finally found it on Amazon, added it to my watchlist and then when tried to watch - got an error notice: "This title is not available."

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish it were the 90's so I could just go to a video store and rent it. O_o

  42. Welcome back, Lindsay Lohan? Also, you're hiding in plain sight if you're doing a media parade. Wendy Williams just had her and the family on.

  43. Saw a picture of Lindsey yesterday in New York I think and she looked awful , but on the picture I saw of her on Wendy W she cleaned up nice ! I guess makeup can cover up a lot of abuse to ones body and face ! She had terrible red colouring in her hair !
