This former A+ list tweener was asked to perform this weekend and then when the people who asked, saw what kind of shape the singer is in from drugs, they rescinded their offer.
JB. He is on a fast death track. I was out of control at his age as well, my bff and I both were and we ran with lots of people who also had a death wish as we did and I see in him what I saw in us. Sadly most of the people I ran with back then are dead or were never really able to make much if their lives as older adults due to time wasted and lingering bad habits/criminal records and other assorted bs/baggage from the reckless days. I wish him well but I have a bad feeling about this one. I think he has seen some sick shit during his time in the business and I think it killed him from the inside out. Drugs are always just a coping tool for some other unearthed pain in ones life.
I cannot imagine the horror Justin Bieber has seen and been through, and it tempers my dislike for him.
Bo Burnham did a devastating parody song and music video that's clearly about Bieber called "Repeat Stuff." Really worth a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nt9c0UeYhFc
Every time I read a blind on Bieber or Gomez I wonder how much Enty is embellishing the enormity of their problem. I see current photos of them weekly and don't see ANY of the tell-tale signs you'd see in someone who has an addiction. Yes, "addiction" can be hidden to a certain degree, but "dependency" is a whole other story. I can see addiction and/or dependency a mile away and these two celebs don't wear ANY of those tell-tale signs in any of their current photos.
Usually the people who complain about "PC" jokes are the first people to call HR when a joke hits their soft spot.
Non-PC jokes that are wickedly funny are one thing. Witless, dickless drollery is another.
Let me guess, you were one of those laff riots that offered Donald Trump a golden toilet from the Whitney Museum this week after he had asked to borrow a Monet. Ha ha ha! Ho ho ho! Wadda laff.
Your vs You're: "I can see addiction and/or dependency a mile away"
No, you can't. You may spot the obvious ones, but how the hell do you know you've never failed to spot addicts? Some people are able to hold normal jobs and hide their substance addiction from their co-workers for years. That's a fact.
@John the Savage -- True, some people are able to hold jobs and appear to function normally -- at least to someone who really hasn't been in the trenches for years. I can see right through the facade. The trenches? I've worked daily, for yearsss, with alcoholics and addicts. I've seen them coming in off the entire spectrum of addiction. It would be a much nicer world for me if I wasn't so keen to noticing even the most subtle signs of addiction. It's an ugly disease and I have seen it from just newly addicted to dependency to actual death. It's just second nature for me to pick up on the tell-tale signs without even having to try. Perhaps you are better off for not having that innate sense, as you would be truly disappointed in how many friends and/or family members struggle with these things. All I was saying is that I believe that Enty could possibly be "embellishing the enormity of the problem," as it is obvious to anyone who works with this problem 24 hours a day that some of these celebs are truly not in the later stages of dependency.
Bieber was out partying at Poppy in LA last night, so he isn't exactly keeping his public appearances down. But he is looking more Aaron Carter than Nick Carter, but it could have just been from the lighting.
@YOurYOUr I totally agree with you. I grew up around addicts and I can usually spot them and neither Gomez or Bieber have that look. They could be recreational users but I doubt they are addicted like this site likes to claim. Wonder why the people here dislike them so much?
Bieber.
ReplyDeleteBieber at the Grammys. The other two are there to perform Despacito but he's "busy with new music".
ReplyDeleteIsnt he been holed up with the new weird church
ReplyDeleteWhat’s the diff. He would have lip sync anyway. Does he have meth crater face?

Not a JB fan but I hope he gets the help he needs. Get away from that damn church too.

rumor has it he gave selena and cara d., lupus. that would be hard to live with.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think people could catch lupus....
ReplyDeleteYou can’t. It’s an autoimmune disease. Maybe Tim meant herpes.
ReplyDeleteJust a little info on Lupus. It is an autoimmune condition & not contagious.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.verywell.com/is-lupus-contagious-2249936
Lupus is not contagious smh. I know, I have it.
ReplyDeleteLupus isn't contagious. Lots of other things he may have given them though.
ReplyDeleteJeez guys you can't catch lupus it's an autoimmune condition and you are born with it.
ReplyDeleteTimC probably meant the hep, the hiff, or the hpeevee
ReplyDeleteFor the love of Enty, TimC was making an obvious joke. Stop making my sad peoples by taking it seriously
ReplyDeleteHo ho ho, I love a joke about a chronic and painful lifetime illness! Got any good Holocaust knock-knock jokes?
DeleteNutty, do you have lupus? Because I do! And I chuckled when I read TimC's comment
DeleteTimC was being funny. Unlike the majority of you on here. CountJ being an obvious minority.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, opinions being clearly subjective.

ReplyDeleteHow bad would you have to be to not be invited to lip sync at the Grammys?
ReplyDeleteOh shit. Looks like the PC Police have arrived.
ReplyDeleteI do know some Holocaust jokes. Also dead baby jokes.
Can't we save the PC bullshit for Facebook? (That probably just betrayed my age. But I'm okay with your ageism jokes, so bring it)
I thought he looked healthy. Guess my druggie goggles, are off.
ReplyDeleteBetter stay away from Titanic jokes too Max or Nutty might really blow a gasket

@Nutty.... Well, just for that, now you're not invited to my sweet birthday party. And I'm going to have Carrot Top AND Andrew Dice Clay perform.
ReplyDeleteI uninvited Louis CK since it's not clothing optional.

ReplyDeleteHey Your You're - little high & mighty on yourself don't you think?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have many of the elements you look so closely for in others.
You also don't KNOW people from a single photo so wtf do you know?
I don't care for Selena or Jusin, but I hope they both get help and leave that heinous cult
