Blind Item #15
Back in the day, she tried a last gasp vacation and that didn't work out. This A list mostly television actress seems to have finally thrown in the towel with her writer/actor husband. He spent more time texting one of his girlfriends than talking to the actress on a recent trip.
Anniston/Theroux
ReplyDeleteThe trip with him was in Caboand the back in the day one was with Brad on Anguilla where I live now ...they kept to themselves totally apparently
DeleteEnty tweeted about the Caribbean age uoi okay?!
DeleteAll great! Don’t follow twitter so haven’t seen them...? Turning on news now
Delete+1 Tricia. Is that where Brad wore that shirt that said "Trash" in big letters?

DeleteHe did Donna!!!
DeleteJenny Jenny who can you turn to??
ReplyDeleteCan anyone summarize for me why JA seems to struggle with her relationships so much?
ReplyDeleteAniston isn't "mostly television".
ReplyDeletenice one @sandy
ReplyDelete"Can anyone summarize for me why JA seems to struggle with her relationships so much?"
ReplyDeleteShe married into the entertainment industry which is filled with shallow, self-centered people who live in the moment. You'd struggle, too.
Mic drop.
Delete+1000
DeleteConfused... Her dad has been on Days of Our Lives since the dawn of man. She always knew there industry?
Delete@Jon - I agree. Jennifer Aniston is not mostly television.
ReplyDeleteAnniston has not been successful on the big screen. She never will be. She along with the rest of the Friends cast will forever be seen as the "Friends" cast. She was a good actress on Friends but many can't see beyond that character.
ReplyDeleteThat's my useless 2 cents worth.
So pleased about your hemorrhoids!
DeleteMust such a relief.
Aniston is definitely mostly television. She's know for Friends, period. Can you even name one notable movie she was in? Office Space? Along Came Polly? The Leprechaun (lol)? That's it.
ReplyDeleteLongtime lurker, had to come out of the shadows to say I love Jen. Love Friends and her movies, I guess I'm in the minority here lol. But I adore her and Jason Bateman! Idk what exactly is going on there but I think it's precious reminds me of Kate and Leo!
ReplyDelete👋🏻 hey there... you are not alone. I like her too and enjoy her.
DeleteI enjoy her movies as well. Just Go With It is one of my favorites of hers.
DeleteReally funny film. The Nicole Kidman/Dave Matthews scenes are classic. Sandler and she had good chemistry. Same with most of her male costars(Sudeikas especially-“We’re the Millers”. I honestly found that movie hysterical at times. I love Sudeikas’dry wit and they played well off each other. Horrible Bosses (1) is underrated imo.
Deletewhether you agree she's mostly TV or not, the story about the last gasp vacation is definitely jennifer and brad. so yeah, her.
ReplyDeleteI would agree that Aniston isn't mostly television. She's worked consistently in films even if most of them, with a few exceptions, weren't any good. And I can't even remember the last time I saw her on the small screen. However, Enty has decided to code her as a mostly television actress for whatever reason. I agree that this is probably referring to her.
ReplyDeleteThis gives me the sads :(
ReplyDeleteIf this is JA, think of all the other people in Hollywood whose multiple relationships haven't worked out. Why should she be different? I wouldn't feel sorry for her, she was the second highest paid actress in 2017, has plenty of money, and plenty of friends. If I were her, I would not get married again, just date, but to no one in the entertainment business.
ReplyDeletePoor girl. Its cause she had daddy issues. He was too busy and mom sold her out. That fucks you up for life.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I see Aniston in is her Aveeno commercials, so yeah, to me she seems "mostly television".
ReplyDeleteOf course she’s mostly TV. Had it not been for FRIENDS, no one would know her. She’s be forever known as a supporting player
ReplyDeleteI think she's messed up partly by having a mom who was much, much prettier than her. And her dad was probably weird...an Enty blind said Days of Our Lives set was a non-stop orgy. Who knows what she went through as a kid.
ReplyDelete"Can anyone summarize for me why JA seems to struggle with her relationships so much?"
ReplyDeleteI have a theory that Jen wants to be part of a bonafide Hollywood Power Couple and won't date guys who don't fill that role for her. She and Brad were definitely a Force and she misses that, the perks, the plans, designing jewelry together, being invited to every red carpet event as The Couple everyone hoped would say "yes". Jen loved that stuff and wants it all again with whoever she dates or marries.
Who can blame her??? Jen has built herself an enviable career on some very slim chances. She isn't a dramatic actress nor a character actress. She is mostly funny and charming with a great sense of timing and she has worked that into a fabulous HWood position. I often wonder what would have happened if she and Pitt had stayed together and he opened his Plan B production house with her input. Would it have produced more comedies? Would Jen have been given the chance to sink her teeth into a dramatic role? Oh well.
So, getting to the point, Jen doesn't want to date or marry down from her height with Brad, I think. Theroux is a triple threat who Jen thought would be winning awards under one of his hats eventually. He has been a disappointment on that front, however. Nonetheless, he's always on some Sexiest list and he is Jen's.
She doesn't date underdogs or underlings.
I wish she would do more, participate in more comedy, because she has the chops for it.
I, too, like Jennifer Aniston. Here is a list of movies she has been in:

God, there was a spell there where I was certain that screenwriters cringed when they learned their movie was going to be another fucking Aniston throwaway piece of crap.
DeleteI freaking love Friends With Money!
DeleteOh man Picture Perfect is still one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteMaybe her and Jay Mohr can do Picture Perfect 2.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin T
ReplyDeleteShe should just date a nice man outside the biz.
ReplyDeleteCall it a day with this narcissists, unless she enjoys being glutton for punishment.
Then again as my Momma always said 'how you get them is how you lose them' and Justin was VERY much taken when JA came into the picture. Let us not forget.
I love her, but you're absolutely right!
DeleteHer boring ass just hates to be seen alone
ReplyDeleteIf she does become single again, I think she should point her radar towards Chris Pratt.
ReplyDeleteProbably supposed to be Aniston but if it is she is inaccurately described as mostly television. She hasn't been on Friends for years and should be described as mostly movies currently. Doesn't matter if you only remember her from Friends she is now a movie actress unless Enty has suddenly changed his description methodology. That being said it may be someone else but seems to fit.
ReplyDeleteI was rooting for JA, hoping she'd finally somebody decent.
ReplyDeleteYeah, me too. The worst bit is that if she divorces him now, she'll get sucked right back into the unholy triangle BS again.
DeleteAniston has consistently slept her way up the Hollywood food chain. Each new level she obtains requires a new level of fun partner and/or pap bait. Her exes weren't stupid. When it became crystal clear that she was simply using them and that there was very little beneath the surface, they strayed or left. Her next choices (because you know there'll be several after this) will be interesting to watch as her youth and beauty fade and interest in her wanes. She'll finish as a classic rise and fall cautionary tale.
ReplyDeleteBut how is Justin going "up" the food chain? He's significantly beneath her by most peoples standards. Not saying your argument doesn't have truth, as you very may well have insider info.
DeleteBut Justin? Nope.
Poor Jen. the tabs are going to throw her and Brad back together, sigh.
ReplyDeleteIf she really wants him, fine. but honestly, I just want her to find someone who thinks she is the shit.
and I love all her movies, I don't consider her a mostly TV actress at all.
She needs to marry a 55 year old successful guy not from Hollywood. Jeff Bezos is taken but someone along those lines.
ReplyDeleteWait. Enty never describes Jennifer Aniston as A list mostly television actress, because she hasn't done television in a looooong time. Enty describes her as A list mostly movie actress, not television actress.
ReplyDeleteHence 2017 blind reveal about j.a. below:

Blind Items Revealed #4
July 1, 2017
I once went to a party and this married A list mostly movie actress who had an iconic role on an iconic show was chain smoking cigarettes. One every five or six minutes. She was smoking where it was illegal. Her strategy would be to yell or argue or talk to the security guard who would tell her to put it out. The argument, yelling, conversation would last the amount of time it took her to smoke the cigarette. Must have done this a dozen times.
Jennifer Aniston
With that said I have no idea who it could be. Trying to think of A list TV actress who are married to a writer/actor husband.
Wasn't aware Aniston 'struggles' any more than 98% of Hollywood actors, who change partners like underwear and seem unable to stay faithful for more than a weekend at a time. Look at all the actresses out there and tell me how she's any worse. At least she's not doing the pained pap strolls with the kids while hubby fucks the nanny and escorts like Jen Garner. Or marrying utter twerp men like Sandra Bullock.
ReplyDeleteShe's had ... what, two or three long-term relationships since she's been famous? The Pitt thing was fucked by Angie Ho throwing her vag at Pitt, which is not Aniston's fault. She doesn't have kids to think about to try to make crap relationships last longer. Not that most Hollywood people seem to give a fuck about how their endless divorces and bed hopping affect their children.
Her relationship pattern isn't even unusual in real life. Vast majority of relationships don't work out there either, although maybe the turnover rate is a little slower than Hollywood land.
I also like a lot of her movies. I think she's doing alright for herself. As far as the men in her life she has a type. Cheaters. So sad.
ReplyDeleteLoved Jennifer Aniston in "cake", she's incredible in it, and totally out of her comfort zone. Her best role so far.
ReplyDeleteOh come on - Angie threw WAY more than her vag at Brad.
ReplyDeleteWanted to thank all of you for your efforts in helping answer my question re: JA relationship struggles. It was a serious question. I guess like moviebuff said, it is a curiousity to speculate on why someone with some talent who is (as far as we can see) as nice and pretty as JA have what seems to be tough luck in love. I enjoy her as an actress and wish her the best - haven't looked, but not aware of anything that would make me think otherwise.
ReplyDeleteAgain, thank you. Probably obvious, but I am new to the site.
Something I don't think has been mentioned is that we're often unconsciously attracted to partners who will perpetuate a cycle of dysfunction we experienced in our childhoods. Her dad left her mom...he's a charming, glib actor, her mom became the pretty victim. Just a thought.
ReplyDeletePoor Jen. Maybe she can cry on her and Justin's besty, the disgusting pervert Uncle Terry.
ReplyDeleteI agree it’s Jennifer but also, I guess unlike most of you, so see right through her ‘girl next door’ image.
ReplyDeleteShe is one of the career and body comes first crowd... like Cameron Diaz, Chelsea Handler, etc.
When you give up everything REAL for fame, you’re left looking dull eyed and soulless. IMHO
Maybe she can hook up with Harvey who will be single soon and help him rehab his image. If her type is "cheaters" she may as well embrace it and go for the cheater who can help her get the most media attention.
ReplyDeleteShe seems super shallow and uninteresting. Loved her in Friends, but she's not that great of an actress.
ReplyDelete@just sayin', children with abusive parents marry abusers, children of alcoholics tend to marry alcoholics, and even those with gay parents often marry someone who is gay. As for Jen, she likely never wanted kids,Brad made it clear he did. Of course he was going to leave. Justin cheated with her,so of course he cheated on her. The only reason she seems to be unlucky in love is because she always is identfied as part of a couple.
ReplyDelete^^ isn’t it pretty much recognized that she miscarried during Friends, in the later series?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I keep seeing comments along the ilk of ”she puts her career first”....why is this a bad thing? Whether you’re a fan of her work or not, she has a successful career, with most of her movies making decent profits. She’s stimulated by her career, has a successful one, what’s the problem? And I agree - she was great in Cake.
I really hate the “unlucky in love” tabloid narrative surrounding her - divorce rates are, what, 53%? She really doesn’t seem that unusual to me.
True about the "unlucky in love" thing. Taylor was married 7 times, no one ever said that about her. Jolie is on divorce #3, she doesn't seem to get that. Maybe it onky applies to women with "nice girl" images?
DeleteAnd it NEVER applies to men, why is that?
Cake was really good.
ReplyDelete"Can anyone summarize for me why JA seems to struggle with her relationships so much?"
ReplyDeleteSeconding what plot said and adding this: JA won't do what's required to KEEP a high maintenance man, which one has to do in order to be in a power couple. Ever date a guy who was ambitious and successful in whatever competitive career it was that he's in? Most of them are self-centered beyond belief with tons of narcissistic traits. Make that career in the entertainment industry and you've got ONE hell of a high maintenance dude on your hands. They already don't want to paired with someone who could compete with them, so that's a strike against her as is.
It's very likely that she wants her relationship with a handsome, famous and wealthy guy to be a REAL one, so she won't compromise down to tolerating infidelity or tolerating self-centeredness.
Firstly JA hasn't been a television actress since 2004. The last fourteen years has been movies.
ReplyDeleteSecondly she has been an A list actress is movies through that period. She was above the title and paid $8-$15MM per movie.
Thirdly, her box office history is good. She had major hits such as Marley & Me, Bruce Almighty, The Breakup, Horrible Bosses 1 & 2, We're the Millers. Yes she made a significant number of under performing films but her win/loss record isn't any worse than A list movie actresses such as Reese, Nicole k or probably Angie J.
Fourthly her range is less than a lot of other major actresses. I wouldn't watch her in drama but rom-coms utilize her girl next door appeal and comic timing.
Lastly, regarding her romantic life I would add two points. By all accounts she is a relatively nice person but she is reportedly very set in her ways (i.e. yoga every day at the same time etc.) Her parents divorce probably affected her but I would note that her relationship with her mother was toxic. The latter was a would be actress/star who apparently took her failure out on her successful daughter.
Anniston
ReplyDelete-note JT was cheating on his long-term live-in GF when he & Anniston first got together on that film set (once a cheater, always a cheater)
-hanging out with Terry Richardson spelled disaster IMHO
-she needs to find happiness and serenity w/o a man, to be truly happy & ready for a real relationship. (JA should take note of Michelle Williams recent news.)
Someone mentioned Marley and Me. I'm now sobbing into my coffee.
ReplyDeleteGiven the "woke" projects that Brad P chooses for his production company, Aniston would be the least likely partner.
ReplyDeleteI never watched Friends (was on when I was a child) but I will say, Jennifer Aniston was better than usual in a movie w/Jake G called The Good Girl. I was pleasantly surprised.
ReplyDeleteShe is quite wonderful in it. And Cake as mentioned above.I cited her romcommy dikms(also like Along comes Polly), because they are entertaining. Performance wise-she has delivered dramatically as well, imo
DeleteWhat about Jenna Fischer?
ReplyDeleteDivorced James Gunn in 2008 and currently married to writer/actor Lee Kirk.
SteelyKnives I agree. I loved them in The Switch. I'll hope it's not her in this case though.
ReplyDelete
