I hope it irreversibly damaged his Oscar chances too, I read an article where one or few voters said that they're feeling guilt and regret voting for Franco lol.
This is not about Oscars, people, FFS! There are no nominations out yet for that. Just read the title: this is about PGA awards. That's where a winner was replaced. Ugh.
@thistown -- Why would you assert Franco wasn't nominated for anything last night when it's easy to do a search and see that he had a Best Actor nomination for "The Disaster Artist"?
At first I thought Franco, and maybe it is and maybe they stiffed him and gave it to Oldman instead, but I'm leaning more towards Casey AF getting bounced from presenting.
Franco?
ReplyDeleteEither Franco or Casey Affleck
ReplyDeleteOr Aziz Ansari. Or...
ReplyDeleteOh...what are the legalities on that....

ReplyDeleteFranco wasn't nominated for anything last night and neither was Disaster Artist-it can't be him. It is probably Aziz for Master of None
ReplyDeleteUmm...what show were you watching?
DeleteThere are no legalities. It just goes to show that pretty much all of the awards are rigged.
ReplyDeleteAziz wouldn't be up for anything for the Oscars apart from a presenter. His wins have been for TV
ReplyDeleteFranco was nominated for The Room but Gary Oldman won
ReplyDeleteInteresting if it's Anzari. I saw that the formerly anonymous accuser had outed herself on Twitter but no media seems to have picked up on this.
ReplyDeleteGoing to have to go back to the photos and see if @Nutty left any side-splitting observations!
DeleteCasey Affleck. He was supposed to present an oscar for best actress.
ReplyDeleteThat's my thought too

ReplyDeleteOh boo, you win! Franco to Oldman, rightly so. Darkest Hour was amazing
DeleteYes, and Disaster Artist wan't nominated. Master of None did lose out to the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel though.

@DDonna Tarttty because as Mag said the blind was about the PGA awards, not the SAG awards.
ReplyDeleteI know it's PGA, didn't know Franco wasn't nominated, I was shooting in the dark lol.
ReplyDeleteWas Anthony Bourdain's show replaced as winner by Leah Riminis?
ReplyDeleteSorry I don't watch golf.
ReplyDeleteApologies to @thistown. I missed that this was PGA, not SAG. Thank you for correcting me, and I reiterate my apologies.
ReplyDeletethe Golden Globes and SAG are all corrupt. Look up some YouTube shots on Golden Globe with Sidney Poitier receiving his award years ago.
ReplyDelete@Alexandria Anna - I was referring to Hmax17, not you. S/he the one who mentioned Casey Affleck and Oscars.
ReplyDeleteKevin Spacey?
ReplyDeletegary oldman replacing franco....
ReplyDeleteugh, I hate gary oldman, he's talented but Such a dick. a racist/homophobic asshole, also.
Ohh yeah baby, we got him... No need for any more BI's... RIP "nice guy" Aziz' career. Let's go Franco!
ReplyDeleteIt's so weirdly worded that it probably means they switched out a presenter and not the actual award recipient.
ReplyDeleteBryan Singer?
