I don't think it will happen while her A+ list mostly movie actress mom is in charge of everything, but it has not stopped photographers from trying anything to get this newly legal celebrity offspring to model nude.
@Normal. Yes Indeed. I am missing something here. I am not a Reese fan but other than the racial slur I do not know what she did. Can you please share? Thank you.
@Normal - A few years ago Reese and a companion wete pulled over. She got arrested. She pulled the "don't you know who I am" card and made a racial slur. It made national news when it happened.
I think it sounds incredibly difficult artistically, challenging in the extreme. If he pulls it off, would be the visual equivalent of Dante Alighieri's Inferno.
What is there to explain about the sequel? There was more after his Crucifixion. the sequel will be the Resurrection . I for one am looking forward to it, I loved Passion of the Christ, though it was one of the only movies I loved, that I only watched once. I cant do that again.
As for this, Ava is stunning, everyone talks about how much she looks like Reese, I think she looks more like dad..
about ava, i think reese has tried to keep it classy and not allow her to sink to the levels a lot of these little bimbos do. i see nothing wrong with that. ava is beautiful and young and her mama is trying to keep her on the right track.
Passion cost $30M and made $600M, a 2000% return on investment. And the next part of the story has already been written and proved to be very popular with tremendous long-term appeal. A sequel sounds like a no-brainer.
Pre-Trump, I would have said that there would be backlash to Mel Gibson making another POTC. But as the hypocrite-in-chief has shown, there are enough right-wing Christians who won't be bothered by Mel's anti-semitism or his treatment of women that it will probably still be successful.
Hopefully she doesn't have journalistic ambitions because according to today's news there is or at least was a building-wide (or something) cctv system for recording female employees in various states of undress at a certain cable news network.
Perhaps the movie will be called He Is Risen? I bet Count Jerkula will say that film has been made...
The Bible tells us some of the things Jesus did after he rose from the grave. However I don't know how one could make a feature length film unless Gibson delves into The Acts of the Apostles.
Sequels are always about the money. Maybe it will be about the real sequel in Revelations. The Bible has more books than Harry Potter, could be a franchise.
So did we determine it was Reese Jr. before moving on to the Jesus-bashing?
First movie is the highest grossing (emphasis on GROSS) "R"-rated movie of all time, so of course they'll make a sequel if they can. I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner, even with Mel on double secret Hollywood probation for a decade. He could've financed it himself, no problem, and pocketed all the profit.
I'm a Christian and a Mel Gibson fan, but I still found PotC unwatchable. So violent, beyond belief, like a psycho snuff film.
Mel Gibson as a man and as a Christian seems to be wretched. He has a faith and a love of God but he is a terrible mess and swallowed by hatred, sin, selfishness and self-loathing. Because of all these things, I am rooting for him. Hollywood is no place to find redemption (true redemption and not box office rebirth) so I have fear that he can do it without walking away from modern Ninevah.
But yeah, for the same reason that Salling's "suicide" made me sad, I hope that Mel makes a beautiful, Dantesque film.
mel, has an alternative ending for the Passion. "JC's Bloody Revenge." some talk about the apostles becoming a super hero crew. the roles of Simon and Judas Iscariot have big names already attached. Think Chris Hemsworth, John Goodman, Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney...everyone wants in. its a dogfight. #metoo wants some women tagged as well, Margot Robby is leading the pack...and no, Mary and Mary Magdalene will not be shown as themselves, some of the boy apostles will become girls.
I don't understand why celeb parents want so badly to get their kids into the biz when they know how wretched it is, especially the parents of females. They know full well what a meat market it is. How can Reese talk about sexual harassment and then drag her daughter in front of the cameras? Cindy Crawford is another one; her daughter doesn't need the money, why push her out on the runway? That's another reason why I love Rashida Jones-- she went to college and actually has a degree to fall back on.
Why was her dsughter's international debutante coming out necessary? What politcial aspirations does Reese have? Hmmmm...she can drink like a Kennedy. ;)
Ava /ReeseWitherspoon

ReplyDeleteWhy is Mel Gibson making a sequel to Passion of the Christ?
ReplyDeleteTWO WORDS:
CASH COW.
If I recall, Passion made a sh+t ton of money.
At the end of the day, it's almost always about the bottom line.
"The Bible has more books than Harry Potter, could be a franchise."
ReplyDeleteIndeed. And just as real.
Nicely said!
ReplyDelete@ Nancer and Tricia, how about 'Titanic 2: Miami Heat'?

ReplyDeleteWalking Dead: The Movie
ReplyDeleteafter reading this thread I am unsure if I need a couple Hail Marys! or bloody marys ..single stalk of celery? π
ReplyDeletePotC-2: Jesus Saves Christmas (AND Easter)!
ReplyDeleteAva looks so much like her mom that seeing her nude would be like seeing a young Reese nude. No wonder we are all talking about sequels.
