Four For Friday - Quite The Movie
A friend of mine was a child actress back in the day on a hit sitcom. Now she makes much more money starring in a long running network cartoon. Anyway, she told me about a movie she filmed about a decade ago. She had a really small role. Despite the small role though, she said it was a jaw dropping movie for what happened behind the scenes and she blames it on one actress. I always think it takes two to tango, and told her this, but she said it felt like it was the mission of the actress to cause as much havoc as possible. The actress would openly use coke and dare anyone to say anything to her. She would drink incessantly and often walked around the set topless while pretending to look for a wardrobe person.
Our actress, who all of you know (#1) and who may have really started her point of no return at this juncture set her eyes on this former model turned actor (#2) who for much of the past few years dated a former A lister superhero sidekick (#3). Back then, he was not so known. #1 and #2 started having sex at every opportunity. That didn't mean of course that was it or this really wouldn't be blind item worthy.
Our actress also set her sights on this B list dual threat actor #4) who has been acting for a long time. His name gets confused with many other similar sounding actor names. Anyway, it feels like he does a lot of straight to On Demand stuff now but did have a nice two season turn on that still running hit pay cable show not that long ago. Our actor was technically married during filming of the movie. He and his actress wife (#5) were still trying to work things out. That lasted about ten seconds into a set visit from the wife when she surprised her husband and caught him having sex with #1. Now, the teller of our story does not know for sure but the buzz from some crew that were near the trailer was that #1 was yelling at #4 to spank her harder so loudly that it could clearly be heard outside. Oh, and into the trailer of #2.
After that episode, things quieted down on set. #1 had a few days off and was getting into her own special kind of trouble off the set. When she came back on the set, she started hitting on this foreign born A-/B+ list dual threat actor (#6) who gets this high simply by the sheer volume of his credits. At the time he was in the middle of his huge horror franchise and our actress wanted a role in the next installment. Again, she didn't seem to care if the guy was married and the guy didn't seem to care either because they started having sex. Apparently #1 called the wife of #6 at some point but was so wasted and drunk that the wife had no idea what she was saying. That I guess, was scare enough for #6 and he never spoke to #1 again.
The producers had caught on to this whole behind the scenes thing going on and changed the shooting order just to get rid of #1 as quickly as possible and have her wrapped and off the set.

DMX Arrested For Tax Fraud
Rapper DMX has been arrested in New York on federal tax fraud charges.
Prosecutors say the rapper, whose given name is Earl Simmons, owes $1.7 million in taxes and has engaged in a multi-year scheme to conceal millions of dollars of income from the Internal Revenue Service.
Prosecutors say Simmons raked in millions from his songs, including the 2003 hit "X Gon' Give it to Ya," and avoided paying taxes by setting up accounts in other's names and paying personal expenses largely in cash.
The 46-year-old Yonkers native was arrested on Thursday. He's to appear in Manhattan federal court on Friday. A telephone call to his previous lawyer's office went unanswered.
In 2015, Simmons spent more than two months in a New York jail for failing to pay child support.
Walking Dead Shuts Down Production After Stuntman Killed
A stuntman working on the set of “The Walking Dead” suffered a serious injury, Wednesday before passing away last night and the AMC show has shut down production as a result.
AMC said at the time of the injury, "We are saddened to report that John Bernecker, a talented stuntman for 'The Walking Dead' and numerous other television shows and films, suffered serious injuries from a tragic accident on set. He was immediately transported to an Atlanta hospital and we have temporarily shut down production. We are keeping John and his family in our thoughts and prayers."
Bernecker was working on the set of Season 8 when something went wrong and he fell more than 20 feet onto a concrete surface.
Bernecker’s girlfriend Jennifer Cocker, also a stuntwoman was on the set when it happened.

Bodies Found In Pennsylvania Mass Grave
Investigators on Wednesday found human remains buried deep on a sprawling suburban Philadelphia property and said they believed the dead included at least one of the four men whose disappearance last week set in motion the biggest search in recent county history.
District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub said the victims found in a 12-foot grave include Dean A. Finocchiaro, 19, of Middletown. No charges had been filed in connection with the discovery. But the remains comprise multiple bodies and investigators are still examining evidence to identify the other victims.
“This is a homicide, make no mistake about it,” Weintraub said at a midnight news conference, stressing the “painstaking” search for clues would continue. “We’re not done yet.”
Still, it seemed to be the biggest break yet in a case that had gripped the region and drawn national attention to search for the missing men — and aimed an intense spotlight on the property owners’ son, Cosmo DiNardo.
The 20-year-old, who Weintraub had earlier termed “a person of interest” in the case, was charged Wednesday afternoon with stealing a car belonging to another of the missing men, Thomas C. Meo, and jailed with bail set at $5 million.
Weintraub said prosecutors were considering murder charges.
“We bought ourselves a little bit of time by charging Mr. DiNardo with the stolen car case today,” he said.
As to whether others could be implicated, he said he could not say. “All the leads we’ve been pursuing are hot,” Weintraub said.
Neither DiNardo nor his parents, Antonio and Sandra DiNardo, have spoken publicly about the case. In response to allegations from prosecutors at his arraignment Wednesday that DiNardo was “a dangerous person,” his attorneys said he was being shamed for having had mental-health struggles.
Finocchiaro disappeared Friday along with Meo, 21, of Plumstead, and Mark R. Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg. Another young man, Jimi Tar Patrick, 19, of Newtown, went missing two days earlier. All appeared to have some connection to DiNardo.
Shia LaBeouf Apologizes For Racist Rant
Shia LaBeouf has apologized following the release of a string of videos which showed the actor shouting profanity-laced racial remarks at law enforcement officials.
On Monday, the actor tweeted that he is “deeply ashamed” and apologized to the arresting officers.
Shia blamed his racist rant on his addiction and said he was taking steps to handle his addiction. Shia went on to say he hoped this low in his life was a bottom.
Video released Tuesday showed LaBeouf, 31, getting arrested Saturday morning in Savannah, Georgia for allegedly being drunk in public.
LaBeouf is seen shouting at the officers: “What did I do sir? I have rights, I’m an American! You got me in my hotel doing what sir?”
Later in the video, he shouts at a black police officer: “So you wanna arrest white people who give a f—k and ask for cigarettes? I came up to you trying to be nice, you stupid b---h.”
In another video taken inside the police station where he was being fingerprinted after his arrest, LaBeouf says to the black police officer, “You’re going straight to hell, straight to hell, bro.”
When asked by a white officer why his partner was going to hell, LaBeouf said “because he’s a black man.”
LaBeouf was arrested in January after assaulting a 25-year-old at his anti-President Donald Trump installation “He Will Not Divide Us” display at the Museum of the Moving Image.
He was also arrested in 2008 and 2015 for drunk driving and public intoxication, respectively.

Toby Willis Pleads Guilty To Child Rape
Toby Willis, father of the "Willis Clan" and former TLC reality star, pleaded guilty to four counts of child rape.
Cheatham County Circuit Court Clerk Julie Hibbs confirmed that Willis received two 25-year sentences on two counts and two 40-year sentences on the other two. Those sentences will be concurrent, and served at 100 percent, giving Willis a total of 40 years in prison.
Willis was arrested and charged last September with the rape of a young girl following a TBI investigation involving the rape of a 9- to 12-year old girl about 12 years ago. He was arrested in Greenville, Kentucky, after hitchhiking there to evade arrest, according to a TBI news release.
Willis, his wife Brenda and their 12 children began performing Irish-inspired roots music as the Willis Clan in Chicago and moved to Tennessee in 2001. In 2014, the family, based in Ashland City, advanced to the quarter-finals of America's Got Talent, and in 2015, they began starring in a TLC reality show called The Willis Family.
TLC announced days after Willis' arrest that The Wills Family would not be renewed for a third season. A TLC spokesman said at the time the show's cancellation had been decided upon prior to Willis' arrest.
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. Arrested For Domestic Violence
America's Got Talent season 6 winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. was arrested Monday for allegedly attacking the mother of his child with a golf club.
The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports Murphy was arrested in Whitman, West Virginia, around 7:40 p.m. local time for misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and domestic assault. He was reportedly released the same night on a $3,500 bond.
The argument was sparked in part over the couple's 6-month-old baby and turned violent when Murphy allegedly slapped his girlfriend and hit her under her left eye with a golf club. He also allegedly slammed her head on the sidewalk outside. According to the Gazette-Mail, the child was present during the incident.
The woman was reportedly treated at a local hospital. After Landau was arrested, he was released the same night on a $3,500 bond.
A rep for Murphy issued a statement to Billboard in which the singer describes a "heated argument" in which weapons were pulled. But he insists he did not hit out. “An unfortunate incident occurred at my home Monday evening. My girlfriend and her friends and family she had invited over had trashed the home. This has happened several times previously while I was away on tour.
I asked them all to leave, a heated argument happened between us and she began destroying things with a golf club. She then attacked me with the golf club-and a knife. In defending myself, she obtained some bruises and swelling on her face. I did not strike her. She filed a complaint against me anyway."
Murphy says he was raised to "respect women, and if not provoked and feeling I was in danger, I would never have defended myself in this manner. I am very sorry for the way domestic incident was handled."

Nelsan Ellis Died Of Heart Failure Due To Alcohol Withdrawal
“True Blood” actor Nelsan Ellis’ family said on Monday that the star died Saturday from heart failure due to complications from his “withdrawal from alcohol.”
Ellis’s family released a statement through manager Emily Gerson Saines to The Hollywood Reporter stating: “Nelsan has suffered with drug and alcohol abuse for years. After many stints in rehab, Nelsan attempted to withdraw from alcohol on his own. According to his father, during his withdrawal from alcohol he had a blood infection, his kidneys shut down, his liver was swollen, his blood pressure plummeted, and his dear sweet heart raced out of control.”
The Illinois-born actor died at age 39 after four days in the hospital, according to the statement from his family.
The American Addition Centers says cutting off alcohol “cold turkey” should not be done without a medical supervisor present or it could cause health problems, even lead to death.
“Alcohol withdrawal can be fatal, as the brain and central nervous system experience a rebound after being suppressed by alcohol repetitively for an extended period of time,” according to American Addiction Centers. “Sudden removal of the central nervous system depressant can be life-threatening.”
Ellis’ family statement ended with: “Nelsan was ashamed of his addiction and thus was reluctant to talk about it during his life. His family, however, believes that in death he would want his life to serve as a cautionary tale in an attempt to help others.”
The actor, who studied at Oxford University and Columbia College in Chicago before attending Julliard, famously played the role of Lafayette, a gay short order cook, on the HBO drama from 2008 to 2014. More recently, Ellis appeared in the CBS detective series “Elementary.” He was also a playwright and a stage director.
Man Arrested For Threatening To Bomb Ariana Grande Concert
A 22-year-old Colombian man was arrested in Costa Rica after authorities suspected him of threatening to attack an Ariana Grande concert.
The threat comes on the heels of a May 22 bombing at a Grande performance in Manchester, England, that killed 22 people and injured dozens more.
The Costa Rica concert went ahead as scheduled Sunday in the city of Alajuela.
Grande shared a picture of herself ahead of the show on her Instagram saying, "Costa Rica tonight! Missed you. I love you. Grateful."
Costa Rican prosecutors said in a statement that the suspect is a Colombian citizen who made the threats online.
Head Investigator Walter Espinoza told local media the threats were written in Arabic. He identified the suspect only by his family names, Caicedo Lopez.

Our author is very conservative. He is also homophobic. Oh, only with his words and how he acts in public. In private, his wife is divorcing him because she caught him cheating on her with another man. She thinks he is going to hell but is keeping quiet because she doesn't want people to think less of her. The couple is also being sued by someone accusing them of being racist and homophobic so this should be interesting to watch as it all plays out.

Randy Schell Has Died
A longtime voiceover actor, best known for his work on AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead," died after a midair collision during a jump at a Southeast Texas skydiving center.
The Houston-area center, Skydive Spaceland, said in a statement that two seasoned skydivers deployed parachutes normally during a planned group jump on Saturday, but that they later collided and fell to the ground, killing one and injuring the other.
The man who died was identified by his longtime agent as Randy Schell, who worked as a voiceover actor for more than 25 years. Schell's voice could be heard on commercials for different television shows, including "Fear the Walking Dead," and for various companies, including Geico.

Drunk Driver Crashes Into "Fixer Upper" Home
A drunken driver crashed into a Texas home featured on the HGTV show “Fixer Upper” this weekend, police said.
Ken and Kelly Downs, the owners of the Waco home, were sleeping in their bedroom at the time of the crash and were not hurt but their house received a ton of damage, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported.
Allen Wayne Miller, 31, was found inside a Hyundai Accent wedged inside the home, police said. As he tried to get out of the car, authorities said firefighters helped detain him before police arrived. Miller was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge, the paper reported.
Kelly Downs told the Tribune-Herald that the renovations, performed by hosts Chip and Joanna Grimes on the twelfth episode of season three, is likely what saved her and her husband. The renovators relocated a brick fireplace in the front office and it was likely what stopped the car from going further.
She added that the crash is not the only problem they have had with the home.
The homeowners said that other drivers have not stopped at a nearby intersection. Kelly Downs said her and her husband have dealt with noise from nearby bars as well as some flak from the neighbors.
"We have been intimidated and harassed," she told the Tribune-Herald. "People have complained about their taxes going up because we moved here. Store owners have complained about taxes."
According to the paper, the homeowners were still pondering their next move – either to repair the home or move to a new place.
