We watch them continuously from Thanksgiving until the Christmas Story marathon begins. The one with Gary Sinise is fantastic. The Hasselhoff one is unwatchable.
Aj, you seen a pic of Artie Lange lately? Poor bastard cant smell shit w/ that infected nose & face he has. His beak looks like it is about to explode.
Count Did you see he got popped for heroin possession ? He was driving erratically on the GSP and got pulled over after coming out of a rest stop I think.
OMG yes, I have one on right now. I DVR the hokey things and then watch on Monday, which is my work at home day, or Saturday mornings, which is what I call, Dakota TIberius, Mommy Slug day (dakota Tiberius is the love of my life, he is black and fluffy and weighs 50 pounds and is the best snuggler ever, He is also 12, so i enjoy every minute) ANYWAY, They get a HUGE upgrade on my list if they have dogs in them.. lol, such as Golden Christmas, @B626 The journey back to chritmas was great!
Many many years ago snd i am still recovering. Those movies are awful in every concievable way. Juvenile, senseless script, actors from the willie woodenhead school of acting, plot holes or more accurately, plot chasms, poor camera work, - just awful. My advice: dont do it!!
LOL does anyone watch any "TV" movie for great acting or plots? I watch them because they are simple, easy and have Christmas in them. Sure they are all Harlequin romances on steroids, But as a child of the late 70s I used to read Harlequins by the truckload, I am quite sure my mom still has 100s of them. I stopped reading them after my tweens, and preferred True Crime and books by Dostoyevsky. Now that I am just past 50 i find myself being drawn to teen dystopian poorly written novels.. lol. When I read, i like to escape the tedium and thought process that I deal with daily. That is why I do enjoy Hallmark at Christmas. I do not go near the channel any other time of year. But I enjoy being able to escape reality at times.

ReplyDeleteI doubt it I rarely watch Xmas movies or shows, not interested in seeing any.
ReplyDeleteYes, often watched a Christmas one today, Christmas with Tucker, about a boy and a dog.. Easy on the ears when you are writing out xmas cards.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else a fan of the Hallmark/Vivid Video co-production of "It Came Upon A Midnight Queer?"

My estrogen levels are too low to watch the Hallmark Channel.
ReplyDeleteI did force my son to watch Elf yesterday. Much protesting at first, then after the initial couple laughs, he dug it.
I quoted Elf yesterday on FB when we took the mini to see the big guy in the red suit.

DeleteYep. Junkie gonna do what junkie gonna do.
DeleteI would rather stab myself in the eyes with knitting needles.
ReplyDeleteSame π
DeleteOf course! When Tricia Helfer is on my tv, I'm watching. And the one I saw with her was entertaining. Sincerely.
ReplyDeleteI would rather watch grass grow.
ReplyDeleteMost of the Hallmark movies are unwatchable, but I have a soft spot for Mrs. Miracle starring Doris Roberts.

ReplyDeleteGot me hooked last year
Time Travel!
PG romantic moments between
Candace Cameron Bure
and Oliver Hudson!
They should make this hallmark Christmas movies with full frontal sex scenes like the puppets having sex in Team America. Ratings bonanza

ReplyDeleteDid hallmark make Bad Santa? If so, then yes.

Deleteyes all the time, even if they are totally budget with props & decore
ReplyDeleteNo!! How could you?! π±
ReplyDeleteCan't say that I have...
ReplyDeleteno, anything hallmark is against my religion.
ReplyDeleteNo, but I hear them all the time. Mom lives with us and she is addicted to the Hallmark channel. 24/7, loud as can be.
ReplyDeleteseems akin to Lifetime movie with carollers. no thank you!
ReplyDeleteHell yes, I love them. No shame in my game.
ReplyDeleteNo. They're sappy and sentimental and I squirm at feels, I am Lucy van Pelt. Give me the Grinch or Peanuts or Muppets any day.
ReplyDeleteIt's my guilty secret.
ReplyDeleteMuch like CDAN.
Eh. CDAN isn't my guilty secret, I'm as open about being here as I'm open about reading Variety.
DeleteWaaay cooler than reading Kneepads magazine.
Especially now with the Blogger layout, it just seems like a cool underground dive bar or something. Like the ones the vampires in "Kiss of the Damned" or "Only Lovers Left Alive" went to. π©π»
Deleteyes!!
ReplyDeleteWatching one right now π
