Blind Item #9

There is some bad blood going on right now and some palace intrigue. Apparently with the recent holiday traditions, this most popular female royal is under the impression that the highest ranking royal doesn't like her. It all stems from something she was not allowed to do, but the new soon to be royal was. She would be wrong though. She needs to look at the person next to her in bed who told her for years she wasn't allowed simply because he wanted to keep his options open in the event he found someone more to his liking.

    2. Could it be attending the holiday festivities before marriage?

  3. It certainly isn't getting her tubes tied and not having kids.

  4. It seems as if Kate's been knocked up continously since she married him. So either she does it in defiance of orders or she didn't want them and she was forced.

  5. Agree with the players.
Could be not allowed going to Christmas until married?

  6. Yeah...of course Enty has access to the English Royal Family. smh
    This LARP was weak. Next!

    1. Except -- MM is an American actress. Enty easily could have all sorts of sources (makeup, hair, stylists, tax attorney, producer, agent, cameraman, etc etc).

  7. I think it’s the fact that Kate wasn’t invited to spend Christmas at Sandringham before they were married and Meghan, as the fiancé, was invited. I’m sure she was told that ‘rules are rules’ and to just accept it; but it’s got to sting a bit that those ‘rules’ are overlooked for someone else. Maybe it just occurred to her that it wasn’t the Queen’s edict, and was more just William not wanting her with him. Kind of sad really.

  8. Or is it Balmoral? Lizzy’s got too damn many homes to keep track of.

  10. Obviously kate not being allowed to spend Christmas with the royal family without being married to William, when Meghan was allowed. It's obvious that William wasn't as keen as her that's why he took so long to propose and they broke up at least once. Hence the nickname waity Katie.

  11. Eh, I don't think so at all. It was Elizabeth's idea that only actual spouses were invited, but I think she invited Meghan because let's face it, Phil is 96 years old and she's 92 and there may not be any more Christmases left.

  12. If she was still alive, Diana would be seething. Had to be certified a virgin by a GYN! I think Krab is on the money with his answer. At her age, she just doesn't care anymore. Harry is finally happy. I didn't realize how short Mehgan is until I saw her next to Kate and Will. I truly feel sorry for her. When the wedding is over her emotional letdown is going to be fierce.

    1. Yeah. And you know what's even more shitty? I think it should matter more that a girl knows her first time will be with someone worthy. But it's like it's such a big deal that only a virgin can marry some prince. Bull-fucking-shit. 🗽👩🏻🚕🍂💛

  13. Kate and Meghan. I'm guessing announce the engagement.

  14. +1 Krab! Phillip might not be around much longer (and the royal family knows more about his health than we do.) Harry seems wild about Meghan and probably asked on bended knee to obtain an invitation to what might be their last Christmas together with both his grands.

  15. The difference between William and Harry is simply that Harry will never be king. William is expected to do everything exactly right. He’s been groomed for it. Harry has less fucks to give, and less pressure on him to conform.

    1. Exactly - to you and Krabs! Plus Wills and Kate now are about to have three kids; the likelihood of Harry and Meghan seeing the throne is pretty much nil. I think once the succession was pretty successfully secured, Lillibet decided she had done her duty on that score and doesn’t give a fuck anymore.

  16. Great points Krab. I also think as a logistical matter, Meghan doesn't have any family over there & Kate could have easily gone to her parents' place. Asking Meghan to fly back to the States for an arbitrary rule would be kind of mean, especially after she just moved across the Ocean.

  17. Harry is more rebellious, he'll have told them Meghan goes to Sandringham, or else he doesn't.

  19. Billy as the heir presumptive has to have a spouse that's reasonably free of taint. In 1981, Di had to be a virgin (and they checked). It must have been difficult finding a 20 year old virgin, even then! But when Andy hooked up with Sarah Ferguson, her rather extensive history didn't matter because by then Chuck and Di had kids. Similarly, Kate needed to be somewhat virtuous, but for Meghan, it was, "So. Do any of your exes have video of you with animals? No? Righto, welcome to the Windsors!"

  20. i just think harry's so far out of the line of succession, the queen isn't as careful about those things. maybe she dotes on harry (i would). maybe she really likes meghan.

  21. Couldn't it be that Harry and Meghan are living together before their wedding? I don't think Kate and Will were "allowed" to do that, right?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Gordon Scott, you sound like a Royal insider! Love your posts.

Didn't Will and Kate live together? I think they want the royals to experience 'married' life to see if they are compatible before the wedding. Poor Diana! I'm waiting for Karma For Camilla. Probably those cigarettes, even though she has quit. My apt. has many photos of the royals (kitchen) but nary a one of Cruella.

  23. Rinda, cohabitation would have been strictly verboten until now. I was surprised that it was publicly acknowledged with Harry. I'm sure there were times and places in the past, but it would have been kept very private.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Boo, I am not an insider. I was lucky a few times to be in the right places with the right people, and I do have a gift for getting people to talk. I happened to be stationed in the UK in the early 80s when the Really Big Scandal was Maggie's divorce. Ah, those carefree days when Betty Battenberg's biggest worry was her sister....

  25. She wasn't missing anything. Norfolk is a miserably wet and cold place for 9 months out of the year. Freezing fog for Christmas is no fun.

  26. William and Catherine lived together before they married as did Edward and Sophie. It has now become the norm for the royals to live together prior to marriage.

  27. @Movie midget, nothing to do with the ring. It belongs to William since he's firstborn and will ascend to the throne (or what's left of it by that time).

I wondered how Kate would handle this. Let's be honest, she's lucky William was allowed to marry her seeing as she has no royal blood at all. And perhaps Meghan is less snooty.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Actually the ring belonged to Harry. They were both asked which item of Diana’s they would like to keep after she died; William chose her watch, Harry asked for the ring. William asked Harry if he could give it to Kate.

What Kate wasn’t allowed to do was spend Christmas with the royal family until they were married, but Meghan did this year. I think previous posters were right with it being a combination of elderly and frail senior royals not caring about protocol any more and Harry not taking no for an answer.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The "source" clearly doesn't know royal family history. William was scheduled to work on Christmas Day, 2010 (he was still in the RAF). Kate chose to spend her last Christmas as a "private" citizen with her family and William joined her the next day. They were both concerned that she was being thrust into a spotlight the likes of which she'd never experienced. They were right to make the decision they did. She got a completely mellow Christmas with her family, away from the spotlight.

Now with Meghan and Harry, neither one of them really has anything else going on. I do find it odd that she didn't want to spend Christmas with her mom one last time. She is her mom's only child.

  30. Torr, the ring belonging to Harry was a myth. Paul Burrell, Diana's former butler (who later turns out to have stolen items from her apartment after her death) told that story. That each boy had been able to go into her private rooms and choose pieces of jewelry. William chose a watch and Harry chose a ring. Didn't happen. Diana's personal effects were divided up in her will long before her death. Her jewelry and any valuables were given to the people named in her will. Her jewelry (which was divided between her sons) was taken to a safe at Buckingham Palace. That's where William later collected the ring before his engagement trip with Kate.

That ring myth is such an big part of the Diana/William/Harry lore. It's just that though. A myth.

  31. One ring to fool them all, one ring to hide then;
One ring to pass along and into Windsor bind them!

  32. so we all saw the video of the Royal Family at Church on Christmas Day and Markle flirting with Will while she ignored Harry who got very angry (this was as they waited for HM and the Markle "curtsey"). And Markle has made disparaging remarks about Kate before (the so called blind that went to Lainey at Celebitchy which described Kate as a bitch) and we all know Markle wants to be queen. So we know who sent this blind in - 48 hrs after her first time with the RF and two nasty blinds attacking Markle's enemies in the RF. Oh boy the British Royal Family really is in for trouble from this one.

  33. Good thinking Krab and Rayne Queen.

    "Huh?" to cecelia obrien. What???

  34. Kate has different rules to Meghan as Kate's husband will be the future king of England. Harry is so far down the succession throne line that there is no chance of him ever being a king so rules with Meghan is not as strict. I think if this rumour is true its probably just her pregnant hormones messing with her. She knows she is married to the future kind of England.

  35. @Lisa.... Kate and William were shacked up together when they were at Univerity, it was his idea that they didn't live together after that , as it would have locked him into the relationship, he never had any intention of marrying her until all his other options closed down (aka he was turned down flat by several more upper crust girls). His friends called her 'the Mattress' because she was always at his beck and call regardless of any other girls in his life and Harry called her 'the Limpet' ....times change all kudos to Kate for hanging on in there.

The Queen would not have minded at all, Sofie and Edward were living together in rooms at Buckingham palace for over a year before they married.

  36. Meghan Markle looks like she's bounced around from couch to couch in Hollywood. No one would expect her to be anything, but disease-free...Let's hope she is. She doesn't need to provide any royal children either.

  37. This is absolutely about Meg being able to attend the family Christmas, and Enty's full of it. It wouldn't be up to William one way or the other whether Kate attended - royal protocol states that it is family only. Now, it seems Harry asked Grandma for a favour with Meg because she has no family over there, but it also seems odd that she didn't just move to London in January in the first place. She strikes me as an extremely manipulative woman, honestly, and as I've stated before...Harry just isn't that bright.

    ReplyDelete
  38. God I must be a romantic dope. Harry and Meghan seem crazy about each other and I think they are a good match. I don't see manipulation in Meghan at all. In fact, for the curtsy ceremony it looked like she deliberately wore dumpier and more muted clothing so that Kate would stand out in her tartan.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Emerald City is right. William & Katie lived together while going to university.

  40. Manipulative Meghan. Harry has no idea what he's in for. And, how, at 36 is Meghan going to have multiple healthy babies???

  42. Having tea before Xmas. Kate suffers from eating problems, William won't tolerate.

  43. There is a difference between how the heir and the spare are treated. Kate was a brood hare brought in to produce children. Meghan adds extra modern value to the house of windsor.

  44. @ Plot, Harry is crazy about booze and weed. Even if he gets married he will still be screwing around with other women and MM would be well advised to keep her mouth shut about it. These people marry to keep the bloodlines and the traditions going. They don't do anything for love.

If the marriage takes place, I give it 2 years---tops.

  45. @John Doe

Oh I'm preparing to be let down by Prince Ging and Meg...kinda...I mean really what are the odds that someone from the Hollywood game is going to be able to sustain anything with a British royal ....big old million to one.

Buuuuut, for the moment I can't help liking them and hoping those crazy kids can make it. Cynicism stay away! I'm going to live this for a little bit.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think they're cute too, I'm over my early concerns about her. Now though I wonder if their cultural differences and the fact that she's gonna get a ton of work offers will affect their relationship. Maybe she'll be happy enough with her new fame that she doesn't care about being an actress, but I can't see it working if she starts to miss it. I'm also alarmed that she says the Windsors are "the family she never had". I'll bet her mother was hurt by that. It shows a certain level of insensitivity.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Wasn't it Harry who said that about the Windsors being the family she never had? Harry isn't known for his subtlety. Yeah, we've seen plenty of photos of Meghan now surrounded by all kinds of family. I don't understand what he meant there. If he is White Knighting this relationship, that is doomed to failure especially since Meghan has been self supporting for a long time now.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I took the comment as a clumsy way of his saying that she was a part of his family. Not that she didn't have any family, but his in particular.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm sure he meant it to be loving and let her know they love her as family already. But as the mother of 2 "entitled millenials", one of whom calls a woman who enables his addiction his "real mom" and one who calls her friends her "real family", trust me, this hurt her mother. (I"m not all bad, my other 2 kids love me.)
