This exiled child molester who used to disguise himself as an A-/B+ list mostly television actor with a long running hit show to his credit is set to emerge from exile and be cast in a project for the first time in years. I guess they believe his story and aren't worried about the half dozen women or so who are waiting to strike if he lands this new gig. They all share the same type experience as the one who brought him down.

DeleteSomeone might cast him ?
Stephen Collins
ReplyDeleteSalling is in Prison
ReplyDeleteStephen collins is a great guess but "they believe his story" may not fit because i believe SC admitted to it.
ReplyDeletePaul Reubens maybe, although he has done some guest work
ReplyDeletePee Wee likes women??? No way!!!
DeleteHe did a movie last year on Netflix with joe man jello
DeleteHe’s also not a child molester
Reubens is a good guess.
ReplyDeleteOr Andy Dick/Suddenly Susan

ReplyDeleteReubens/Pee Wee had a feature in recent years for Netflix. Doesn't fit.
ReplyDeleteReubens could make sense as someone who "used to disguise himself" (as Pee-Wee Herman). But he's not exactly exiled, he had a Netflix movie quite recently
ReplyDeleteI think it's Collins because I think 7th Heaven is getting rebooted.
ReplyDeleteregarding Stephen Collins - There has been talk of a 7th Heaven reunion, including Stephen. The show's creator, Brenda Hampton, said she would include him in any reunion, and Catherine Hicks, his wife on the show, said she would welcome him back too (after saying she was joking about SC's character having to be dead for her to return).
ReplyDeleteI think the believe his story part of the blind could mean the show and cast believe it was a 1 time occurrence that's way in his past and he made amends for it.

@don that makes sense. Definitely collins
ReplyDeleteSince when is Paul Reubens a child molester?
ReplyDeletePee Wee didn't molest children he just jerked off in a dirty movie theater.
ReplyDeleteYeah that too, he had child pornography but isn't a child molester
ReplyDeleteIt will fail. This country is not in a forgiving mood. Hated the cream cheese show from the beginning anyway.
ReplyDeleteStephen Collins admitted to his wife on tape that he'd molested a lot of girls, so why would the producers think it only happened once? Paul Reubens never touched a woman did he, lol. Or female child.
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like 7th Heaven, but there's no way America would tolerate his return to tv. Why pour money into a project that's doomed?
America elected Trump...no wait, sorry, 'Merica elected Trump.
Delete@just sayin: +1
ReplyDeletejust sayin' - correct. 2 were related to his ex Faye Grant, who recorded the therapy session, and the niece of a neighbor. I had to listen to it again, hadn't heard it in a long time. I should have said they believe it's all in his past (he denies he is a pedophile). Maybe that's what they believe?
ReplyDeleteI still can't see him being back on TV, and don't think any fans would accept him back on 7th Heaven. But I can't think of anyone else this would apply to. BTW, interesting article on the cast of 7th Heaven - I forgot Andrew Keegan started a cult (should I say alternative religion?).

I truly cannot understand if it's Stephen Collins and anything associated with Seventh Heaven. I get that a reunion doesn't have him reprising his role as a religious, moral man, but come on! Some people may not have a problem pushing aside what he did, but the producers and the actors who agree to appear with him had better brace themselves for some really negative publicity. Yeah, it sucks that what he did tainted the show and the actors' residuals, but that's part of the point - what people do carries consequences for themselves that may ultimately end up punishing other people. It's not like it's only between you and your victims, but you don't even care about them anyway so NBD, what's the worst that can happen? Just keep on being a fuckwad.
ReplyDeleteWasn't collins the head of an acting union? might explain his ability to get new jobs.
ReplyDeletePee Wee isn't exiled and has never been the subject of molestation claims.
ReplyDelete7th Heaven should do a reboot where he's just gotten out of jail and because she's a Christian his wife welcomes him home, but none of the grown kids will leave him alone with this grand-children, and we follow his escapades as he registers as a sex offender and deals with angry neighbors.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Don Kieballs, he claims not to be a pedophile? I want to hurt him.
What about Charlie Sheen he is exiled, the recent Corey Haim story could classify him as a molester, add to it that he then rejected him after sex, which I am thinking is what the others could find relatable.
ReplyDeleteScott Wolf + "Party of Five"
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteNevermind. I meant Matthew Fox. Party of Five and Lost. Then kinda disappeared.
Ladyship - I'll bet you're right!
ReplyDelete“I'm absolutely not attracted, physically or sexually attracted to children,” Collins told Yahoo Global Anchor Katie Couric in an exclusive interview that aired on ABC News’ “20/20.”

I wouldn't mind more Paul Reubens. I liked Pee-Wee's Playhouse and the movies. I think he got caught in the moment (literally), but he was at an adult theater, not molesting or abusing children. This was before Xtube and Hamster (not that I know anything about those sites...) so adult theaters and book stores were popular places to come to (wink).
ReplyDeleteSheen is a good guess as well, particularly after finding an article about a new Major League movie, with him being rumored to return as Rick Wild Thing Vaughn.

Sheen was not an A-/B+ actor; he was A/A+. In his prime he was the highest paid actor on TV and starred in the top rated sitcom on TV. Not him.
ReplyDeleteEnty ranked Sheen as "Former A list mostly television actor who struggles to get to work on time and has a thing for porn stars and crack" in 2014.
ReplyDeleteI can see him dropping to A-/B+ list in between 2014 and now.
@daria (loved your show, by the way), I don't think Hollywood realizes how much trouble they're in. They still think they can write enough checks to stop it here, and even rehabilitate people like Harvey. Things did die down some during the holidays, but we'll see if it stays that way next week when people are paying attention again.
ReplyDeleteMajor League is nearly a perfect movie. Fortunately Sheen's character (Vaughn) was never my favorite part of it, so I think I can go on enjoying it as long as Tom Berenger and Wesley Snipes are cool. It sounds like the new script is centered more around Vaughn, so I probably would have passed on it anyway. And the two previous sequels were awful. They really should learn to leave great movies alone.
I still think Pee Wee's performance in BLOW is a classic. He was SO convincing.
ReplyDeleteI agree Boo, Paul is multi-talented. His Sarasota arrest was horrifying but a victimless crime. But the arrest with kiddie porn photos is very disturbing.
ReplyDeletePaul Reubens was caught for indecent exposure at a porn theater. The "child pornography" actually comes from an overzealous DA who had already arrested Jeffrey Jones. The cops raided his house and seized vintage fifties magazines about "sports" and "nature". These were often a pretext to print male or child nudity on the guise of artistic or educational purposes. Reubens had a large collection, along with many campy artefacts, and it was enough for the DA to claim that the raid had been a hit.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that he had dated for a while Demi Mazar.
The blind states that these women "all share the same type experience as the one who brought him down." (Emphasis added.) Paul Reubens, Charlie Sheen, Stephen Collins: none brought down by one woman.
ReplyDeleteStephen Collins was brought down more by his ex-wife but a victim also wrote a letter to her that got the ball rolling. (The wife confronted him about the letter which lead to the therapy session.) So that could be the one who brought him down.
ReplyDelete@Annyoung Bluth: Aha, I did not know that. Thanks. Reubens and Sheen are still excluded by that clue, though.
ReplyDeletePaul Reubens is not a child molester. Sheesh.
ReplyDeletePaul Reubens just got a little freaky on HIMSELF in his spare time. PEE WEE has risen again and my heart takes flight!
ReplyDelete@MatineeIdolx, please save the partisanship for other sites. That's off-topic here.
ReplyDeleteSo.. isn't this Roman Polanski?
ReplyDeleteIs the title a reference to You Can't Do That On Television?
