The wife of this foreign born A+/A list mostly movie actor was at an event the other night and said since the end of filming his latest movie, the actor has been working out 4-5 hours a day to get ready for his next movie. Looks like he is at least thinking about that superhero role again and wants to be ready if they come through with the money.

ReplyDeleteBale only because Enty has mentioned Affleck no longer wanting to play the role and if the money was right (which would be a huge payout) Bale would do it. Not to mention Bale needs to loose the weight after playing chubby Dick Cheney.

ReplyDeleteBatman has pretty much been a mess since the very, very first Batman in the 90s, as have most of the DC comic movies, but not Wonder Woman yet. I'm patient though.

ReplyDeleteIt's sad all the iconic roles from Batman I remember are the villains. They've been played by so many great actors with insane dedication (if that's a pun, it's intended. If not, ignore this). My favorite line is still "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight) and Heath Ledger's Joker will always be the best portrayal in my opinion. The only Batman I actually appreciate isn't even Batman yet, just young Bruce Wayne on Gotham.

ReplyDeleteIt would be such a bad idea and totally fuck up the trilogy if they made another batman with Bale. I liked all of the variations of Batman (kinda like costumed James Bond). Not that I don’t wanna see him trim down to Batman again. Insert Count-like comment degrading Bale sexually here (I’m not as creative as him). Affleck was/is awful. Period.
ReplyDeleteIt's Bale but he's not doing Batman. He's done. The stories about WB offering him $50M were fantasy, Bale himself said that no one ever contacted him about it. If he's working out 5x per week it's because he put on like 50lbs to play Cheney and looks terrible.
