Blind Item #5
I guess all of that "charity" money and all of those introductions of willing actresses to certain members of this police department has been worth it for this disgraced producer. He also got police jobs on the side as security guards and bodyguards to celebrities and politicians. He would then use what they heard as his own blackmail service.
Pig Weinstein
ReplyDeleteJust read that the LAPD is saying they can't conjure enough evidence to prosecute because it's all "he said, she said" unless it's a minor.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall hearing any underage horror stories about Harvey the Pig unless I missed something.
Pigstein. You'd thin with all the accusations he'd be jailed.
ReplyDeleteDisgusting. The NYPD, however, is still moving against him.
ReplyDeleteI fail to see how this is supposed to be a Blind Item when this is so clearly about Weinstein, but whatever. As much as I want this man to rot in jail, once the dust settles he'll come out of this with no consequences. It's really quite unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteAlong with Brother Bob...he's in it up to his eyeballs right along with the entire company. Can we somehow hope he goes broke?
ReplyDeleteHeads up men: The ONLY reason those two "wives" married him was for his money, otherwise, no one else would sleep with that gross looking pig.
K, carry on.
I think it's called: Hearsay. (I believe Hearsay evidence is NOT admissible in court.)
ReplyDeleteSo, unless there is physical evidence of Pig Harvey raping/assaulting, the charges won't stick.
Sad.
It appears Pig Harvey is going to walk.
Victims are considered witnesses, therefore their testimony is NOT considered hearsay.
ReplyDelete@roxy Don't forget the Weinstein's ties to Jeffrey Epstein/Jean Luc Brunel. Weinstein was funneled women by Fabrizio Lombardo, who learned his ways from Jean Luc Brunel who pimps underage models as young as twelve. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/24/world/europe/fabrizio-lombardo-harvey-weinstein-italy.html
ReplyDeleteWorth noting that Weinstein also led the charge to get Polanski exonerated and setup a screening for him of Big Eyes in Gstaad. https://www.thewrap.com/roman-polanski-art-glitterati-at-harvey-weinstein-screening-of-big-eyes-in-gstaad/
Sidenote: watch the episode of Archer in Gstaad - it's about underage sex and I feel like the writers of Archer know what goes on there.
On hearsay - victim testimony is direct evidence, not hearsay. Hearsay is from a third person who didn't witness the original incident/statements/etc.

ReplyDeleteIt's starting to become common knowledge that the LAPD is bought and paid for by Hollywood pedophiles and rapists. I feel bad for the citizens of LA and Calif. Their PD's and task forces are a joke.
The UK police are also after him.
ReplyDeleteThe NYPD is also tap dancing around all the accusations handed to them by molested women. I knew the Paz de la Huerta thing was going down because she is, sadly, an emotional mess. Too bad one of the Obama daughters wasn't pinched on the butt by Harvey. The NYPD would HAVE to do something. Even Harvey isn't THAT far gone!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the CDAN-ers. He will never feel those cuffs tighten. Unless, women in this country go bat-grits crazy and take to the streets and storm the precincts! He will go bankrupt from this, so that is some satisfaction. However, his children will have to face life knowing what their father is. No one is winning in this mess.
Well hopefully the metropolitan police can be relied upon to bring him to justice.
ReplyDeleteHearsay is an out of court statement.
ReplyDeleteIf someone comes into the courtroom to say it, it is not hearsay and is admissible evidence.
So if someone is willing to testify, then yes it is "he said, she said," but her testimony alone is enough to convict someone assuming the jury believes it and disbelieves the man. Not a very good excuse for not prosecuting someone.
@SarahElizabeth - 100%. Everyone from Harvey to Louis CK will all just lie low for a bit, then start the redemption tour & will be back where they started, will be pitied, will be forgiven. Harvey might have to do it far more behind the scenes than usual, but yeah, very few of these men will face permanent or even long-term repercussions, sadly.
ReplyDeleteLove to think of Harvey totally immersed in the middle of a large lake breaking through a small Louis Vuitton straw!
ReplyDeleteLAPD has always been a corrupt joke.
ReplyDeleteOnce they started protecting ped0philes, you knew it was over.
They don't care about victims. They care about themselves. Access to famous actresses, money....Weinstein is a pig and knows how to give other pigs what they want.
There are two kinds of cops: ones that are corrupt, and the ones that aren't corrupt, but are complicit by staying silent.
I dont doubt NYPD will drop it all too.
This is pretty normal for rape cases. Without physical DNA evidence they are very hard to prove. Thanks to things like the children of the McMartin case testimony not being considered good enough evidence a presidence was set that basically made witness testimony almost worthless.
ReplyDeleteThese women being celebrates shouldn't somehow make them more believable and the fact that their assault tend to be so long ago also works against them.
Perhaps the METOO movement should turn their focus to the abuse of children which is a problem the public cares much more about and one that the public outcry will force the justice system to take action once the perps are revealed.
@Do Tell & JrSlims, you correct that the evidence is admissible, but such evidence’s effectiveness with a jury is a whole other story. Brock Turner only got convict d because 2 white male grad student saw him raping Emily Doe. I agree with those who mention that LAPD is corrupt and compromised. I just watched the Law & Order Menenedez Brothers mini series & did some independent research which only reaffirmed that the LAPD & LA District Atty’s offices are totally compromised. Thanks to just sayin’ for recommending it. It seems like Dick Wolf & the writers are trying to tell us something, especially with the Dershowitz mention.
ReplyDeleteWonder how many victims taped conversations with Harvey? At least 2 of O'Reilly's accusers taped conversations and two of them got millions in settlements.
ReplyDeleteWhat is sad is the odds of these people getting more work once they testify is slim. Hopefully time will prove me wrong on this but it seems like an accuser is treated like a leper by possible employers once he or she goes public.
Somewhere there's a ficus with scrotum-face's DNA all over it.
