I heard John Cusack (whose performances I always really enjoyed, esp. in his more comedic roles) was a major-league bitter arsehole and not very pleasant company on the whole, but is he also known for being that level of predator too? My thought was Feldman. Not so much because this couldn't refer to lots of people, but I assume the people he's been threatening to expose had material on him which (along with other methods) kept him quiet, and they were bound to burn him with it when he started to talk. Although he's been quiet lately, so the timing isn't perfect.
